EXCELLENT in every WAY!

Sooo enjoyable! The home is so well appointed with everything one could need. Super clean and the caretaker was very responsive. Our party consisted of 5 ladies from 3 states and we enjoyed this home immensely. We had lovely meals at the gorgeous dining room table with all the makings for a beautiful table setting... so many wonderful details. We appreciated all the dishes, placemats, platters etc. Enjoyed the firepit and of course the front porch. Shipshewana was fun as were the close by parks and amazing trails! Thank you for sharing your homestead :) Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay with Atwood Lake Views

We loved staying at this property. It had ample room for our crew, and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for us to make meals. The home was wonderful to sip coffee on the front porch and relax near the firepit at night.

Perfect Get Away

The Atwood Farmhouse was perfect in every way. Comfortable, peaceful, well stocked and very clean. I will make this property my go to rental while visiting the Amish Country. We loved it!

Friends trip to Shipshewana

This beautiful farmhouse was a great place to unwind after shopping in Shipshewana! We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking at the lake. Thanks for sharing this home.

Gospel Getaway

Property was absolutely fantastic. Spacious from porch with rockers to sit and enjoy the gentle breeze with a view of the lake. Decor was beautiful and house was stocked with everything one would need.

Lake view was pretty good...trees are getting big which in places does block lake view a bit. House was very clean and everything was easy to find. Our stay was 3 nights...I should have requested more towels. It was very peaceful and relaxing which was just what we needed.

Cousins getaway

Very nice clean old farm house. Loved it!!! Rockers on the front porch, with great view. Close to Shipshewanna for a show at the Blue Gate theatre. Will definitely be staying again!!! Thank you!!

Stayed here for three nights due to my oldest daughter’s wedding at Sylvan Cellars. The house was PERFECT for this occasion. Plenty of room for the girls to get ready. Didn’t get to spend any time relaxing, but if I could have it would have been lovely! Well stocked with items that would typically be needed. Clean. Adorable! Loved the family history of it too!

Friends Getaway

Our group of six traveled to Shipshewana area for flea market and auction experience. Your home provided the perfect place for us. Everything you could want is provided in the rental. Front porch with lake view was a nice way to start the morning and to end the evening. The travel to and from Shipshewana provided us with a wonderful view of the countryside taking a different route each time.

Porch Life

This home was fantastic! Our group was attending the summer concerts at Sylvan events center (also fantastic!) and we loved just hanging out on the front porch during the day as a group enjoying the lake view, the quiet and the sound of the horses clip-clopping down the street! We’ll be back for long weekends for sure! This will easily become a favorite! The host was readily available by cell and offered any assistance needed (none was as the home is turnkey!!). Can’t say enough what an awesome job they did rebuilding this turn of the century farmhouse! The history and pictures of the build are amazing!

This is a lovely farmhouse. It has been remodeled but maintains the history of the house. I was looking for someplace that also had an ADA bathroom for my mother. This place delivered! It was very well thought out. There was a ramp that could access a main floor bedroom. From there there was a little sitting area and then a bathroom with excellent ADA set up, grab bars, and a shower chair. The other 2 bedrooms had their own beautiful bathrooms. We used the daybed as a 4th bedroom and it had a door that closed for privacy. There was plenty of space in the living and dining areas to talk as a family. The kitchen was well equipped. We sat on the front porch in the rockers daily in the morning drinking coffee, watching the lake (nice view), and watching the amish carts and horses go by. That was so nice! We also walked around the property and appreciated the circle drive as we went daily to visit our family lake cottage on Adam's Lake (which couldn't sleep extended family that was us). Also, the site says there are "limited outlets" due to being an older home. I want to point out that they had extension plugs anywhere we would have needed more outlets so there was plenty for all of our needs. We hope to come back to this great place!

Charming well appointed home! Lovely front porch with lake views and plenty of options for seating. It was so relaxing and everything we needed for a great week. The kitchen was great and well organized. This home is spacious and well cared for and loved!
