Beautiful property!!

Great location, quiet, lots of dear early morning and at dusk.cabin is clean and beautiful decorated. Owners are Great.

All of us, including our dogs, had a great time. Our questions were promptly answered and we enjoyed staying at the farm and exploring the beautiful area.

Hidden beauty

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the property and all the wildlife. Definitely off the beaten path. We would stay there again and would recommend to others.

We had the best time. It was exactly what we wanted. Dog was happy, mornings were peaceful and the property is beautiful. We were so close to Floyd for music, Buffalo Mountain for a great easy hike, and Chateau Morissette. Host responded promptly, place was clean.

Family vacation

The cabin was great. Loved the location. It had space for all of us and room to roam outside. We saw deer, rabbits, groundhogs and birds aplenty.

Great place to get away.

My husband and I loved the house and the land. The house was cozy, warm, and comfortable, stocked with all the amenities and supplies we needed, and the area was delightfully quiet and peaceful. We are looking forward to another stay as soon as possible.

Great Weekend

We had a great time at Modern Willis Cabin! Clean, Quiet and very comfortable. We spent time in Floyd, Va at some cool shops and spent some time at Chateau Morrisette Winery which was beautiful.

Visit with grandkids

This house was perfect for my husband and I. It was close to the grandchildren that live on Buffalo Mountain Road. There was plenty of room for the kids and grandchildren to come visit and hang out with us.

Great stay!

We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Virginia Tech. While it takes some time to get to campus, it was nice to be removed from the crowds and chaos following the ceremonies and be able to relax and enjoy time together in a beautiful setting. Thank you!!

Beautiful and Peaceful

We really enjoyed holding a small retreat at this cabin. It was so clean, and there were plenty of spaces for each person to have privacy. The setting was serene and peaceful. We loved watching the deer walk through the field every night. Hoping to stay again, highly recommend!

Christmas Getaway

Cabin was perfect for our Christmas getaway.From the homey feeling we got when we walked thru the front door our family felt right at home. So much so that our granddaughter was sad to have to leave when we checked out. The cabin Is very spacious and it had everything that we needed for a perfect stay. Would love to go back sometime. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in a relaxing environment.

Girls trip Cheaper than therapy

three of my favorite people joined me on this journey. We enjoyed good food, amazing scenery, lovely wineries, joyful music and each other’s stories and conversation all while staying in quaint cabin nestled in the rolling hillside of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains.

The cabin is incredible! We loved it. We were delayed getting there, so we arrived in the dark. It was a little challenging to find; however, once we figured it out…ohhhh we had a ball. It is decorated so well! The home is very clean and has everything a family needs. Thank you all!

It was a delight to stay on this property, beautiful beautiful countryside rustic decor inside I especially like the creek. Not sure if this was written in the details to bring your own towels and washcloths, however, there was not enough towels and washcloths for our party is at 6. I should’ve looked closer at the details if it was mentioned

Beautiful home, wonderful property

The cabin is much bigger than the pictures. It is well maintained and nicely decorated. The property is a huge, cut pasture that is perfect for dogs and kids to play on. It is located close to Floyd, VA and other recreational areas. We had a great long weekend. Thank you!

Relaxing Christmas getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were nice, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the Christmas tree and other Christmas touches. Our only suggestions would be to provide soap (hand soap/dish soap) and to possibly address the water pressure issues with the kitchen faucet and the basement bathroom sink faucet. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

FloydFest stay

This cabin is quite a drive from Floyd fest. It’s a beautiful drive though. The cabin has good sleeping space for 6 people. It is very peaceful there. There are a few things I would change if I were the owner but I am a picky sleeper. The owner by the way was very communicative and answered a few texts in a timely manner. She seems like a great person.

Absolutely Beautiful

The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful cabin and property. The cabin is very clean and so comfortable with lots of space for everyone. The wrap around porch is gorgeous. The outside spaces including stone fire pit and wooden hill top swing are added bonuses. Check-in instructions were easy to follow. We reached out to the owner once and got a very quick response to our question. This was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to everyone!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful log cabin perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The wraparound porch was a perfect place to relax, with plenty of outdoor seating to take in the scenery and wildlife. We spotted deer, wild turkey, and even a bear during our stay — a real treat! My wife especially enjoyed picking and snacking on the wild berries growing nearby.The cabin is in a pretty secluded area, which made for a peaceful and private escape from the everyday. There’s not much cell service, but the WiFi worked well and kept us connected when we needed it.If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat with stunning views and rustic charm, this is the place. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
