House was adorable, with cozy decor and comfortable accommodations. We especially enjoyed the local Grant's Grinds coffee free for us to use.

Every detail was thought of, making our stay completely stress free and our packing as light as possible. With a toddler, that is EVERYTHING! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and you really can’t beat the location. Everything we needed and wanted to do was just a couple blocks walking distance. I could not recommend this spot enough especially if traveling with dogs and kids. If we are ever in Cape Charles again, we know exactly where we’re staying. :)

We really enjoyed this spot and look forward to returning! The hosts were very responsive and nearby should something come up. When we arrived there were items for us from the local bakery and the house is was stocked in a thoughtful way which allows you to pack lightly. Park proximity and a short beach walk was perfect. Sets a high bar for a pet friendly stay!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this Cape Charles property. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the house itself was so cute and cozy. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again!

The hosts are extremely welcoming and warm, clearly see dogs as family - they have everything to make both puppies and humans feel safe and welcome.The neighborhood is quiet, serene, walkable to everything. The town is family friendly and fun.

Nice place

Cute, well stocked rental. We had a comfortable stay and the house met the needs of our family of 4. We enjoyed the central location and close proximity to the park. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We hope to visit again!

Both hosts were pleasant and very easy to work with. We enjoyed that it was near the park. Beach was a ten minute walk and they supplied a wagon to put items in for the beach. Dog friendly which was a plus. Very nice home to rent.

We enjoyed staying at this dog friendly duplex! Everything was very clean and as advertised. The walkability to everything was wonderful. We were worried that we might be able to hear the neighbors between the shared wall but didn’t hear a thing! It was fun to talk to neighbors and people passing by while sitting on the porch. We also didn’t have to worry about parking for the Friday night concert - all we had to do was step out the door! Our furry family member enjoyed many walks in the park and on surrounding sidewalks. Thanks for the great stay!

We really enjoyed staying here for a week in Cape Charles. The house is just as pictured, lovely and perfect size for our family of 4. We enjoyed the private back yard and the fun selection of games for the kids. We forgot our beach umbrella so we are grateful Courtney and Chip have stocked the shed with beach equipment! They are thoughtful hosts and all the small touches they have thought of made all the difference in our stay. Highly recommend this house and Chip & Courtney as hosts.

We had an amazing stay! Communication with the host, Chip, was top-notch from the beginning. He responded promptly to all of my questions and requests and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. After we had already finalized our stay, he even gave us an incredible discount on an additional day, which we truly appreciated. The property itself was very clean, comfortable, and had everything my family needed. It was also very welcoming to our two pets, which made the trip even better. You can tell the host really cares about making sure guests have a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and will definitely be reaching out the next time we visit Cape Charles!

Great Stay!

We had a great time! House was very clean. Very accurate to what we saw in the listing. Almost everything was within walking distance: 2 blocks to Main St which had great restaurants/shops/ice cream, 3 blocks to the beach, and 1 block to a great public park for dog walking, soccer, playground, and fountain with splash pad. Beach was excellent for paddle boarding or floats, sand was soft, and kids loved finding hermit crabs. Great front porch for morning coffee. Outdoor shower was awesome for after a day at the beach. I would definitely recommend.
