Beautifully recently renovated home just steps from the water awaits you for a relaxed getaway on quaint Jamestown Island. Only minutes from Newport and the stunning Rhode Island south coast beaches, this home will provide you with the perfect location to explore or just chill on the deck overlooking Narraganset Bay, the Plum Beach lighthouse, and Jamestown bridge. Jamestown offers a quiet rural atmosphere with an abundance of open spaces and lovely views providing an excellent location for walking or riding bicycles. The small village center offers many restaurants with al fresco dining, shopping, and water taxi to historic Newport.

This professionally landscaped home features open concept living with an updated fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, large deck with retractable awning for eating or sunning, and parking for 2 vehicles. Linens and bedding are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Air conditioning.

Lovely house with a large deck and retractable awning for relaxing. Its location offers easy access to Newport as well as Jamestown restaurants. The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful, friendly and great for walking along the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love yo return at some point.

Lauren’s and Casey’s house is lovely, clean and comfortable, in a beautiful location, with views of Narragansett Bay from the living room and deck. The beds are very comfortable; perhaps the most comfortable of any, of all the many short term rentals in which we’ve stayed. Lauren and Casey are wonderful hosts, very responsive with excellent communication. Check-in was seamless. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again, if we were in this lovely area again.

Clean and spacious

We had a great stay! The house was clean and spacious, the air conditioning was a huge plus (it was a hot few days outside), and the location was lovely. We would highly recommend this place!

Clean, comfortable place to stay while we visited the surrounding sites. Loved the outdoor deck but only got to use it once because of rain. Highly recommend this home. The neighborhood is so nice! Easy check in and check out.

We had a lovely time in Jamestown and Newport RI. Lauren and Casey had the house set up perfectly. Everything was neat and tidy and the house was very welcoming and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely trip! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The place was lovely and we could see the water from the deck. The living space was comfortable and the largest bedroom was very spacious. The house was nicely decorated and we enjoyed our stay. Our host was a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

Perfect location, quiet neighborhood, very clean and spacious

We enjoyed our short stay with easy drive to Jamestown harbor/village and Newport. Home was very comfortable with plenty of supplies. The deck facing the water was a nice plus.

Great stay

Very clean house with everything a person could need. We stayed during extreme heat conditions and the whole house was very comfortable with zone controlled AC.Sunsets from the deck were awesome in this quiet neighborhood. We would return again.

Great Weekend Away

We had a wonderful time - it was our annual girls weekend away. The home had everything you needed , it was clean and well kept. The best part were late afternoon drinks and dinner on the deck waiting for the beautiful sunsets.

My husband, Casey, and I purchased this home in 2016. Casey grew up by the water in nearby North Kingstown, RI. He is an avid sailor and loves to spend his days on the water. Casey is a school teacher and an executive director of a sailing club in MA. I work in Human Resources and love to travel.

We are new to renting our summer home, but can not wait for you to experience all that our home and Jamestown has to offer!

We decided to purchase in Jamestown, RI due to the proximity to the ocean, it is close to where our sailboat is located, as well as to beautiful beaches throughout Rhode Island. We love to go to Newport for the day or down to Narragansett. The property is central to everything that we could possibly need, yet in a quiet neighborhood.
