We had very nice stay--thank you! Our host was easy to reach and communicated well beforehand when we were working out logistics with our extended family. The home is impeccably clean with plenty of room for chatting and cooking. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glasses and cooking tools. The location is close to the beach with a couple busy corners to cross. We loved discovering Atlantic Park Surf just a block away--great retail, amphitheatre, restaurants and of course the beautiful man-made surfing pools. I really enjoyed the Wisely pizza with my sons as we watched some great surfers as well as learners! A great weekend for us--thanks!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. Really close to the beach and fantastic accommodations. Everything was so clean and nice and I would stay here again.

This home was beautiful, very spacious and very clean but for the amount of money we paid we were disappointed by several things. 1. Location- on a very busy street that was so loud at night with traffic it was difficult to sleep. 2. The quality of the bed linens and towels was poor (the beds only had a sheet with a very thin coverlet and no extra blankets and the quality of the bath towels were not what I would expect in this kind of listing). 3. The beds were not comfortable. 4. The firestick for the tv did not work in the one and only tv in the living room (messaged the host at check in but did not hear back until the following day) 5. There was not enough seating in the living room to accommodate the number of guests that the house can host (only seats 5 comfortably and we had 6 in our party so one person had to either sit on a backless bar stool or the floor).

We understand that comfort preferences can vary when it comes to mattresses, bedding, towels, and seating, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. Regarding the TV, we’re sorry you experienced an issue with the Fire Stick. We did respond and attempted to address the issue first thing the following morning, which was still during your stay and allowed time for us to troubleshoot it, but unfortunately we did not hear back from you afterward. We always want the opportunity to resolve an issue while our guests are still in the home whenever possible. As for the location, the home is situated in an active beach area, and we understand that traffic noise can be more noticeable depending on the time of day and individual sensitivity to noise. We truly appreciate the feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests.

Great location and space

The rented unit was in a great location, easy to access and the communication with the host was extremely helpful! This rental is close to all the fun things at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and I would recommend this spot to everyone!!

Great place

Loved the house; great location and well stocked. Communication with the owners was very good, easy and prompt prior to check in. Once we arrived we didn’t need anything at all though. Would recommend and stay again!

Only complaint is that the house is located on a Main Street and it can be very noisy at night. It would also be nice if there were more than 1 tv.

Great home base

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. There was plenty of room for all--we could have easily had another family join us, which we will do in the future now that we know. Clean and comfortable, close to the beach and other venues we were seeing. We had some questions for the host, and Sheppard was very helpful and responsive. We'll definitely be looking here again if we're back in town.

Great Location! Good Communication!

The place is as nice as you'd expect from the pictures. The host always responded quickly if I had any questions. Spacious bedrooms, and almost fully stocked kitchen. 3 balconies and a front porch, plenty of bathrooms/showers. Would recommend. Would stay here again.
