Very nice space with lots of outdoor seating areas. The location is great with lots of walkable shops and restaurants. Only watch out is that the stairs are very steep, especially between the first and second floor.

We stayed here for 3 days/4 nights. The house was great for the most part. An unusable lamp in the one bedroom and a broken bathroom door off of the kitchen - easy fixes, but it was clean, had everything we needed and was a close walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The back door area/courtyard was well maintained and pretty. Outdoor shower was wonderful to have. The beds were very comfortable. The noise was a big factor for us as we traveled with a baby and it was hard for her to sleep, but that is no fault of the homeowners, purely the location. During the week it wasn't bad, but it's in a busy part of town so the weekends get pretty loud. Take a noise machine or something for night. Also there are a lot of steep steps, so someone that doesn't do good on stairs may not do good in this house. All in all, we had a great time and would think about staying here again, if needed.

Property was exactly as described in the details. Had everything we needed. Home was Clean and very close to the boardwalk we had breakfast at Doc Taylor’s and it had such a warm and friendly vibe it was a great getaway!!

Beautiful house Great location

My 4 kids(and a girlfriend), elderly mother, and I stayed at this property for a few days to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a fantastic time!! Got time at the beach, went kayaking with the dolphins, visited the aquarium...and much more! Very clean & the kitchen is great. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for beach sunrises

Property was beautiful and super convenient location to shops and restaurants. Very easy early morning walk to beach to watch sunrise. Home has large bedrooms as well as good space for hanging out together. Well appointed kitchen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was exceptional from start to finish — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful in making sure everything was perfect for our visit. Communication was clear and timely, and we felt truly welcomed.The property itself exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described (if not better!). The amenities were top-notch — from the fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds to the little extra touches that made it feel like home. Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient to the beach and restaurants. At least one full-length mirror would have been nice to have.Unfortunately, the loud revving cars at night were very annoying. That seems to be a big problem in Virginia Beach.

Property is in an excellent location with plenty of room for guest. There was initially no hot water, then the repair person was contacted and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Not a major issue however the home requires a new paint job as there are many touch up spots throughout.

Nice place. Dryer was broken and not able to fix during our stay. Did get a credit but it detracted from the experience. Ceilings in multiple rooms either need repair or are being repaired. King beds very comfortable. More towels included would be a step up. Overall enjoyable.

Beautiful House with wonderful amenities Just as described in photos My only two complaints were the lack of extra comforters and pillows in the bedrooms. Also the television sets are outdated and basic cable was just that basic.

Overall good experience

Property was very nice and clean. Adequate space for everyone. As a group of girls who stayed for a long weekend away, we really noticed the lack of mirrors in the house when we needed to get ready. I would suggest putting some cheap floor length mirrors on the inside of the closet doors. The property is right on 264 and sounds like a drag strip at night but that was disclosed in other reviews before booking so we were prepared for it.

Beach House

Overall the house was nice. Not far from the beach and boardwalk. We had a little trouble with one of the neighbors parking in our allotted spot. The only complaint I have is the noise level on the street. It’s a main road and the cars and motorcycles tend to rev their engines flying down the street. There is a naval base near and the jet’s flying across at all hours was also disturbing.

Close to Convention Center and Sports Complex

The property is nice the location is horrible. The traffic on 22nd Street is incredibly loud especially at 1 am in the morning. Cars constantly race up the street with their radios blaring. The tv's in the bedrooms do not work. The bedroom sizes are large and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning system keeps the house nice and cool even on the third floor.

Hi Lisa, thank you for the feedback. Yes, those TVs work for streaming purposes only, no cable in the bedrooms. Just a cable box downstairs in the living room. I am sad and disappointed to see we got three stars even though the house itself was up to standards except maybe those tvs. We work extremely hard for 4-5 stars and really hope to have you back to maybe another one of our rentals to earn that rating. Back again!

We like these properties. It’s true the road noise from 22nd St. is persistent at night, but the properties are nice, clean and comfortable. We always have a good stay. 2 suggestions: (1) an extra blanket for each bedroom and (2) instructions about how to handle a car parked in your reserved spot. We arrived early evening in two cars and encountered a car parked in one of our spots. There was no other parking available, so I had to knock on a lot of doors with no luck. Eventually the person overheard me talking to another nearby resident and moved his car.

Beautiful Home!

We travel to Virginia Beach every Memorial Day weekend for a wrestling tournament that takes place at the Convention Center. This house was absolutely perfect for us. 3 families were able to comfortably fit in this house. It is 3 blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center. Everything is within walking distance -- once you park your car upon arrival, there's really no reason to get back in until it's time to leave! The house is absolutely beautiful -- every detail was covered. If any issue popped up, Sheppard was very quick to respond with the solution. The only thing that was missing was the bbq grill -- this was a bummer but certainly not a deal breaker! We are hoping to rent this same house next year and other families are hoping to rent the other side of the house as well! You will not be disappointed with one aspect of this house!
