River Rock Cottage Is Located On The Shore Of Lake Superior On Chequamegon Bay.

River Rock Cottage is a smoke-free cottage located approximately 3 miles east of Ashland, Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Superior giving you one of the most beautiful views of Chequamegon Bay and the Apostle Islands.
Keeping with our River Rock outdoor theme decor, this cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room, dining room, fully-furnished kitchen, and outside grill. Two flat panel TVs with satellite for your entertainment. Free DSL/WiFi.
For those who love to fish, we have great year ‘round fishing on Chequamegon Bay and Lake Superior, where we cater to both open water and ice fishing. The cabin also caters to duck hunters, deer hunters as well as being a great vacation place for the family to just relax and watch the sunset.
We provide: Bedding & linens, towels, shampoo & conditioner, hair dryer, shower gel, hand soap & lotion – the same amenities as a hotel. In the kitchen we provide: Dishwasher, dish soap, napkins, paper towels, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, basically everything you have in your own kitchen. We even provide the salt & pepper. All you will need is the food to cook and maybe that special spice to pleasure your palate.

We had a great stay in Ashland! The communication with the host was excellent and he was extremely helpful. The enclosed fire pit was so fun! I would stay here again if back in the area!

The place was really nice and right on the water. We enjoyed the sauna, and jumping in the e lake. The yard was nice and big with a large deck to relax and enjoy the view. Everything was really clean and well organized. We would definitely go back!

This was a really fabulous place that our family of five enjoyed staying at.It was very clean, fully stocked in the kitchen and towels/linens were a bonus, an amazing sauna we enjoyed, a pier to fish off and watch beautiful sunsets, grassy areas for our kids to play on and a spacious 4 bedrooms with many beds.It was close enough to Ashland, a quick drive to Bayfield and surrounding areas.The host was very great at communicating throughout the stay.

Thanks for the nice review,. But, we promote our property as NO PETs. YOU LEFT BEHIND A DOG TOY AND SOME DOG TREATS. This adds extra cleaning and removing all linens for cleaning and disinfect to all walls and furniture. Your booking showed 2 adults and 3 children but you used all 8 beds...this also adds extra cost...not cool. FYI... OUR CONTRACT STATES. NO PETS...

11 adults stayed here comfortably for three nights. The yard was perfect for lawn games, there's an amazing view of Lake Superior from the dock, and the accommodations were comfortable. Scott was helpful and timely in answering our questions. It was great that the kitchen was stocked with the dishes we needed to cook dinner.

We were 8 women and this place was perfect. It was close to kayaking tour of apostle islands and Madeline Island. Had a great time having cocktails on the pier during sunset and hanging out around fire pit (firewood included!) for s’mores and more cocktails. The house was perfect for board games and eating. Plenty of space and two bathrooms were appreciated! The driveway was large enough for all four car. The host was very responsive from the start of registration thru departure. Beautiful, spacious and quiet property. We would definitely recommend it.

Exceeds expectations!

We loved our stay! The amenities were above and beyond - free firewood, free bags of ice, two refrigerators and a deep freeze. Beautiful location and the fire pit was amazing!

This was a wonderful property to stay at while exploring the area. We actually wanted to do less exploring and more hanging at the house as there were so many neat things to do-we especially loved the sauna and fire pit building, and swimming in Lake Superior. The rooms and common areas were very spacious and had everything we needed. The owner was very kind and responsive. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect family vacation place!

The house and location was perfect for my siblings and me. Beautiful lake and sunset views. Spacious, clean and quiet. Will book it again on my next trip to Ashland! Owner was prompt and great to work with.

Great stay on the bay

Place was great. Scott and the river rock team were great as well. After long days trying to find fish on the ice, the sauna and outdoor fire were the perfect way to warm up and relax. Highly recommended!
