We had such a wonderful stay! Such a beautiful mountain view with lots of birds to watch. Our stay was very relaxing and our host was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view! Convenient to a lot of attractions. Decor has a subtle southwestern vibe. Has everything you need including lots of places to charge devices. Interesting birds to see.

The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. I would stay here again.

The minute we walked into this house we felt at home. The garden was so relaxing. We enjoyed Hot Air Balloons every morning and various birds. We even had a visit from a Green Parrot who shouldn’t have been flying free, but was a wonderful visitor. Very early one morning a bob cat sat on the neighbors block wall hunting in the nearby golf course. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless!

Warm and Inviting

This stay was beyond our expectations. The view is amazing, the birds a joy to watch and the the home and neighbors are welcoming. We felt so comfortable and all needs met. We will stay again!

Beautiful View

We loved the view of the mountains and golf course from the back patio. The house was comfortable and stocked with all the necessities. Karen, the owner, was fabulous to work with. We’d stay here again.

Just right

For us this property was the right size. It has an amazing view of the sunrise over the mountains every day. It is within 15 minutes of much of Albuquerque, like old town, down town, and the north side too. Loved the stay here.

Would love to live here

Loved the home and location. Very quiet and enjoyed starting our day with air balloons drifting by our patio. Karen is a great host and communication was excellent. We plan on returning and our stay confirmed our decision to retire here and hopefully in this neighborhood.

Southwest Charm

Beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains. Lovely comfortable home.and patio. Quiet neighborhood. Kind neighbors. Very clean, well stocked, relaxing southwest atmosphere.

Property is exactly as described. Host was very responsive to questions and messages. We were beyond pleased with the home and would absolutely stay here again if we get back to the area! Loved sitting on the patio each morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise over Sandia Mountains. We also saw balloons land in the golf course! Definitely a 10/10 and 5 stars plus.Thanks again Karen-we had an amazing time!!!!!!

Lovely home near family

In town to visit family and this was the perfect location! Easy access to freeway. Great bird watching (and golfer watching) out the back window. Clean and well appointed. Very a quiet and peaceful to come home to each night. Thanks so much!

Great views, quiet safe neighborhood

Very comfortable and clean home. We enjoyed the view of the mountains and balloons landing on the golf course and flying overhead. Karen was very quick to respond to any questions. All the essentials were provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Albuquerque West Mesa

Extremely clean, very well furnished, great back yard patio area backs up to Ladera Golf Course, beautiful views of Sandia mountains, conveniently located within 5 or 6 minutes of I-40 enabling fast access to any part of the city. I HIGHLY recommend this property. Karen is super responsive and provided all amenities for a great stay.

Week in New Mexico

Home was clean, easy to enter and exit daily, and Karen always answered so fast anytime I had a question or left a comment. Neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and made friends with the local hummingbirds and quail that frequented each evening. Thank you!

Very enjoyable experience

My friend and I stayed at the house while attending a conference at the Hotel Albuquerque. We were very conveniently located to the hotel, numerous good restaurants, grocery stores and the Petroglyph National Monument. The house was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the quail families who visited the bird feeders in the garden! One additional plus is the beautiful mountain view from the back windows. Very enjoyable experience!

Spacious, well- stocked and appointed. Golf course and mountain views. Great sunrises & sunsets!

Enjoyed our one month stay, weather was very nice in August. Very comfortable beds and furniture. No noise & wonderful neighbors. Loved seeing quail, hummingbirds, rabbits & geese off the large back patio. Only drawback is the owner could provide more than just local channels plus Netflix on the TVs. This would be a lovely rental to view the Balloon Fiesta in October from that patio and avoid the parking & congestion hassle!

The Ladera Property is WONDERFUL! Close to everything you could want and need with beautiful views.

Stayed at the Ladera property for 1 week. The home has a lovely floor plan and accommodated all of our needs and wants. We enjoyed dinners around the large dining room table and BBQs in the backyard with gorgeous views. The golf course was lovely and we even got to see a few hot air balloons land on the fairway. I told my husband that the property was so special that I could actually see myself living there long term. Thank you for featuring this wonderful home. Tim & Alice

Salute to Morning Coffee, Safe Landings, and Adventures

The first morning, coffee in hand, we were sitting on the veranda overlooking the golf course when seven hot air balloons appeared. To our surprise one balloon landed on the course directly behind the house. That was the first of many pleasant surprises that we experienced during our weeklong stay. A very attentive hostess, well equipped kitchen, easy access to restaurants, petroglyphs, and Santa Fe less than an hour away for the occasional day trip.

perfect location

Very lovely neighbors on either side. The golf course in back was really beautiful in the morning and my husband enjoyed playing there a couple of times a week. The location was great for exploring the city although it is a town for a car and not walking. That is unless you are walking the Bosque, which was a saving grace in the mornings for our long walks with our dog. It was a hot month and that was just a 10 minute drive to park and walk. We counted about 35 species of birds on our walks, some porcupines and many other critters. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were wonderful to deal with.
