Gail was a wonderful host! Everything about our stay was seamless, and we truly appreciated all of the thoughtful extras she left at the cottage to make our vacation even more special.The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed and was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Forest is a beautiful place to visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.We would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and can't wait to stay again!

Jim and Belinda and were wonderful guests. They were respectful in all communications and of the property. They left the cottage super tidy and clean. We hope they had fun and enjoyed Hickory Creek Cottage and all that it has to offer. We would welcome them back in a heartbeat and recommend to other hosts.

We hope to return some day. The entire home was exceptionally clean. The room size met our needs for a family of five. The decor throughout the home made you feel right at home. The backyard was spacious for play for any season of the year. There is a nice sized deck with plenty of chairs for lounging. The host provided great information about area activities.

Very well organized, well equipped, clean and spacious. The owner even offered us a couple hours earlier arrival. As a welcome greeting…there were many snack bags, cookies and sodas, which lasted us all 3 days. It was so comfortable with places to relax inside as well as outside(front porch, back yard or games room). Speaking of the games room, such an amazing number of games all can play in there or take outdoors to play in the huge back yard. Or sit on the couch in there to read one of the many books. We also liked that it was in a quiet non-busy, small town area. Close enough to walk downtown.

Donna and her family were an absolute pleasure to host while celebrating their anniversary at Hickory Creek Cottage. They treated our home with great care and respect, leaving everything impeccably clean and tidy. It was wonderful to hear how much they enjoyed the décor, games room, thoughtful amenities, beautiful location, and of course, the little treats we left for them. We're especially delighted that both they and their grandkids had such a memorable stay and were able to create special family memories together. Communication was friendly, easy, and appreciated throughout their visit. We would be thrilled to welcome Donna and her family back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend them to other VRBO hosts. They truly are the kind of guests every host hopes for!

Though it was cool this weekend, we did get in a few “innings” of whiffle ball. As we were loading the cars to leave, it snowed. At least one inch in less than an hour. Being April, I had taken my snow scraper out.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Well exceeded our expectation. The host Gail was super friendly and patient. I asked for suggestions on where to hike. Gail suggested nearby parks and hiking trails at Pinery provincial park, and provided us with both ecopy and hardcopy maps. Gail also passed a detailed list of places to visit and eat in town. The cottage itself was super clean, well designed and renovated, cozy. We found many little surprises when we arrived, and the kids loved the treats and candies.Highly recommend to anyone family travelling with kids won't be disappointed
