Room was clean, but we did have some issues with the stove and dampness / musty smell of the unit due to what I believe was related to the HVAC. The property owner told me on the day of arrival when I called to inquire about the parking pass, that the vent in the bedroom fell and broke so there’s a hole in the bedroom ceiling. No big deal however there was no air blowing into the bedroom so the first day was very warm. Luckily the next 2 days it rained and it was cooler outside. Overall the stay was fine just the communication needs improved as when I communicated all of the issues per text message as it was recommended per the note in the unit, I still have not received a response.

Condo was exactly as advertised. Perfect location

Judy was a fabulous condo owner. Very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I strongly recommend this condo. From check in to departure everything was seemless. The location was great. Restaurants and entertainment within a stone's throw from condo.

I have sayed in Shelter Cove on at least 15 occasions and this apartment is undoubtedly the best we have stayed in. I am sure that it has recently had a makeover as the decor and fixtures and fittings were excellent. The owner obviously also uses the property and had arranged for all that we required for the first 24 hours including a welcome bottle of wine. The owner also called on day 2 to check all was well. We will undoubtedly rent the property again when my wife and I are on holiday alone.

Just what we were looking for!

Judy's rental provides a comfy place that worked for the two of us. It has everything necessary and is nicely furnished. Judy's condo was nicely decorated in soft coastal colors and not overdone with chachkies like some places we have stayed. I did not think I was going to like the mattress but it turned out to be extremely comfortable. Again I would say the best words to describe this condo are tasteful and comfortable. Access was easy, the location was just what we wanted and we plan to return again and again. Judy is a wonderful and responsive owner and we are happy that we rented from her.

Felt right at home!

It will take only a matter of minutes before you feel at home in this beautiful condo! I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Hilton Head. The condo is clean and has everything you could need or want to feel comfortable. We were greeted by a welcoming bottle of wine and helpful tips written on notes here and there throughout the rooms. The arrangement of the place is convenient and feels spacious. The living room and bedroom are separated and both have views of the harbor, televisions, and comfortable seating which is nice if two people are staying. Also, you couldn’t ask for a better location as this complex offers shops and dining right below. Anything else you need is within easy driving distance. Just be sure to have GPS handy as the beautiful landscape of the trees and limited lighting can make seeing from the road difficult. This was my first experience staying somewhere other than a hotel on vacation, and thanks to all of the attention to detail and good communication from the owner it will not be my last. I highly recommend booking this space and already look forward to a return trip.

This place is amazing! The view is incredible and everything you could ask for is right in Shelter Cove. Dinner/sunset cruises, charters, kayaking, top tier restaurants and island shopping. You also have access to 2 different beaches. All within biking, walking distance. Mrs. Judy is a very gracious host. And now, she’s a friend. The only good part about having to leave, is that I get to come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Lovely condo overlooking Shelter Cove Marina. Great location 
. I’ve always wanted to stay in Shelter Cove and it was grand. Especially nice on Tuesday night when the fireworks show was right outside our balcony. Comfy bed, a reclining leather sofa that will put you to sleep and a well equipped kitchen. Who could ask for more!!!And a two minute walk to Hilton Head Social Bakery, from a former Executive Chef at Windows to the World! One of the best bakeries ever (from someone that has visited a lot of bakeries)

Shelter Cove Great Condo

A favorite stay. We've done VRBO at HHI several times and this stay was our best. Judy, the owner, was so attentive to our stay and treated us like family. Perfect unit in every way. Clean, comfy, close to great shopping and food. Walk to Shelter Cove shops and eating just a minute away. Great parking. Elevator available. 10-15 minute scenic walk to more shopping including grocer. A definite for our next trip to HHI.

Fabulous view

Had a couple of issues on checking in but these were speedily and satisfactorily rectified. After the initial teething problems we settled in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful apartment, as pictured. Spent most of our time people watching and boat watching on the balcony. Only point i would make is we didnt know where to get the parking pass before we entered the apartment and that info would have been useful so we didnt have to go back out and could have collected it en route. Thanks for allowing us to rent your apartment, wish we'd had longer.

This is a wonderful unit. The pictures don't do it justice. Very clean. Well stocked. A great place for a couple. The marina view is a big plus. Communication with the owner was always prompt and helpful. This is place you will be glad you picked.

Nice quiet location, good amenities

Judy communicated with us and answered all our questions The only check-in information that needed to be clarified was where to pick up the parking pass The condo was good, we had a nice view of the marina and sunset It had All the amenities that we needed. Our only complaint was the air conditioning unit doesn’t adequately cool the condo. We had it set at 73 and with the high temps & humidity it just never felt the temperature actually reached 73 The ceiling fan in the master needs to be replaced. It can only operate on low. Any higher soled and it wobbles makes noise. There is another fan mounted in the wall but not directly over the bed The unit was clean and we would rent here again

Beautiful view of the Shelter Cove Marina & Broad Creek. Close to everything.

Great stay as always

Whenever we come to Hilton Head Island we try to stay here. Judy's home is always clean, comfortable and stocked with the extras that makes her home our home. I can't wait to come back.

Wonderful!

Our second time staying here and we could stay again! Very clean and has everything that you need! balcony, close to restaurants and shops and has everything to cook and prepare meals in the condo.

I am a small business owner. I carve out time to travel and see the world as often as I can. Family comes first in my life. My husband of 48 years and I have six grandchildren, ages 11 to 7 years. Their picture hangs on the kitchen wall. Their little legs, wiggles, giggles, and love bring such joy. We have a lot of adventures. We are Tennesseans and love our rolling green hills and trees. We have been coming to Hilton Head Island for 35 years and are thrilled to have our home away from home in Shelter Cove.

Location, Location, Location. THE VIEWS. Free Shuttle to Beach, Shopping & Restaurants. Bike Paths throughout the island. 5 Golf courses nearby. Tennis Pickleball. Fishing. Water sports. Lifeguards will set up your chairs and umbrella at the beach. The fee is daily, weekly. 15 Restaurants less than 5 minutes. Wonderful shops and walking trails. Drive to the Veterans Park across from Giuseppe's Pizza. Walk to your right through the sanctuary.
It's a hidden jewel.
