Girls Trip in the Mountains

We really liked the location and quietness of the area the cabin is in. The 4 king size rooms worked great for our group allowing people to spread out. We enjoyed the large kitchen space with the huge table, perfect for playing games and meals. We also were able to use the hot tub and pool table. We couldn’t find a ball for use of the football table. The only down points here was the fire places were not operational, we assumed being October we could use them. One doesn’t even appear to be set up to use as there are loose wires hanging. There are a couple of loose stair boards, the deck its self could use some maintenance. The downstairs ceilings above the pool table have writing on them that needs to cleaned. Overall we really liked the property.

Family Fallbreak trip

Awesome views, very spacious! Loved that every room had a king bed and garden tubs in every bathroom! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place! Even saw a bear on our way up the mountain. Your GPS will say you are there, but keep going up to the top! We loved it!!

Plenty of space.

The property, especially the deck and outside steps need work. TVs didn't work in 3 bedrooms. General cleaning, floors didn't look like they had been swept. I don't mean to be negative because it served our purpose very well.

Beautiful view

Home had a beautiful view and ample privacy. The ensuite baths for each bedroom was a big plus for us. Driveway as noted by others is steep but nothing an suv or truck couldn’t handle. Home is also at the end of a rural semi maintained gravel road, again we had no issues with this but some gravel would be a plus! I would not try the driveway in a low riding car. We expected rural mountain roads but feel the listing should reflect this. Plenty of parking for 4 vehicles. Home was stocked with all things you need and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again but home does need some general maintenance, nothing that prevented us from having a great stay. Plenty of room for our party of 10!

Nice family getaway

We had a very nice stay at this property. The house was very clean and spacious. There were several small cosmetic issues with some of the house but they did not affect our stay. It was a nice and quiet neighborhood and the house was fairly secluded. We saw a lot of reviews about the driveway and were very nervous about it, however, the driveway was perfectly fine and we had zero issues coming and going and we had small cars. This was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

Nice Getaway

Beautiful location and very nice cabin. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive truck for last 100' of driveway. Good Verizon cell service, AT&T Wifi did not work.

Loved the home but not enough to rent again

The home itself was wonderful. Driveway was very unsafe as it’s on a incline and when it transitions from gravel to black top it is not safe and hard on your vehicle “ I don’t recommend a motorcycle because one of our parties was on a motorcycle and it is very unsafe .” We was not allowed to use the garage which was a deciding factor in us booking this property. The sign in the garage says no vehicles for garage only. Very disappointing. I know that after my review there is going to be a message saying if I would have contacted you during the stay the problems would have been addressed but the n the previous reviews you stated that the driveway had been repaired and the WiFi had been upgraded so what was the point. I don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews but there was to many issues that had not been addressed but you was aware of.

Great views but hard to get to house

We loved the views but the road is very steep and last quarter mole has huge pot holes. Large vans will have a hard time making the turns. The house still had bags full of garbage in garage so the downstairs area was very stinky. Garbage was not picked up till the following day after our arrival. We also needed extra towels and sheets and weren’t provided till next day because not enough staff. The grill was sooo dirty and unusable because of the amount of grease. This house looked like they did “minimal cleaning” after the last guests left. I did not get the support from the management. I expected to arrive to a clean home so I could enjoy our vacation and instead I spent my first evening cleaning and calling in to get someone to fix the issues. In the end, we didnt get to grill and only got our needed towels/sheets the following day.

It could use some general maintenance in many areas of the house, but didn't ruin our stay. The hot tub is very small, 2 people is comfortable any more and it will overflow.

Family Christmas

Comfort

I loved that all the floors had king/master bedrooms with a/c-heaters, so that everyone could be comfortable. It was perfect in size, so that we weren’t all on top of each other at all times. The view was also amazing! Down fall was fire places didn’t work for two days. They did come and fix them but that was kind of disappointing when you rent a cabin and the fire place doesn’t work and it’s in the 30’s outside.

Our stay at the Retreat Cabin

The house is just like you see in the pictures. The mountain view is picturesque. Thank you for not allowing it to be a pet friendly house. It felt very clean.

Great Cabin!

It was a group of 4 couples. They allowed us to check in early because one of the couples had a baby. When we got in, unfortunately, the smoke alarm was dying so it was beeping. I called them and within the hour they came to fix it. Did not have a ladder high enough so they went to get one and, again, were back within the hour. Very accommodating! The cabin was clean and the beds were C O M F Y. Let me tell you, so comfy. Hot tub was clean. It was just a wonderful stay! Will book again. Now, this is no fault to them, be mindful of the drive up. I can imagine in winter, it will be bad bad. We had no problem getting up, but some folks were very scared and did not like how steep it was. With that said, once you are up, there is enough room for 4+ cars and it is flat.

Nice large space

beautiful cabin.. they have 2 coffee machines one kuerig and one coffee pot.. the pot did not work very well ..leaked.. but had the back up .. would say get groceries and anything you need before dark .. it is a dark road with no lights in the mountain and there are deer than ran out in front of us.. other than that .. great place, very big. beautiful and would stay there again .. there is a gravel road with pot holes but you can see them to go around. the GPS will say you have reached your destination but keep going on the road you are on and you will go up big hill to see cabin .. had to figure that out.

Love this mountain hideway

Perfect place for a quick getaway! Very private and spacious three levels. Super clean and comfortable. I suggest you get there before dark because it is a winding road to the top with a steep driveway. Have the food you need with you so no wasted trips down. Our family made awesome memories!
