Kastanida House lies on the west coast of Paxos. It sits at the end of a small country lane, nestled amongst olive trees, with the deep blue of the Ionian Sea as a backdrop. The extensive gardens and terraces allow you to relax by the infinity pool (5 x 9.5m) or sit in the shade of the walled garden, perfect for peaceful relaxation. The open plan living/dining area opens onto the outdoor terrace and there is a built in bbq area. There are 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins) and a separate shower room. A selection of toys and games are available, suitable for ages 5-11 years. A 20-minute walk will take you to the village of Magazia complete with tavernas, café, bakery, supermarket and mini-market. The beach, Loggos, Lakka and Gaios port are only a 10 minute drive away.

The kilometre readings given in these directions are only for guidance and may not be exact. We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars, it is electronic. To reset most of these models, you need to press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. If you have requested any booster or child seats, please ensure you check the fittings before you set off. Please take care driving on these roads and remember to drive on the right! 1. Leave the “New Port” car park turning right and straight on – away from Gaios. 2. At 0.8km, bear left, DO NOT take the right hand turning to Loggos. 3. Follow this uphill road (passing the cement works on your right at 1.5km) then at 2.8km you need to turn right at the T-Junction. 4. Follow this road passing the football pitch and school for approximately 2 km (total 4.8km) until you reach the Shell petrol station on your right-hand side. Continue straight on here into the village of Magazia. 5. Continue through Magazia village, passing the mini market and fire station on the right, for a further 100m. Take a left-hand turn, (approximately 5.3 km) signposted ‘MANESATIKA’ - where you see the PAXOS POOLS sign. Follow this road until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left-hand fork and after a further 20m there is a Simpson sign on one of the trees on the left; take this gravel track with a telegraph pole. Follow this track straight ahead (do not take the left hand track off it) you will drive alongside a stone wall and see a villa on your right with green shutters, this is Villa Kastanida.
