Olitpa haluamasi osallistua jäänmiehen jännitykseen tai suunnittelet vain potkaista takaisin ja nauttia näkymistä, Rushing River Lodge on varmasti miellyttävä. Yhdessä Cartecay-joen kauneimmista osista tässä mökissä on 350 'upea joen julkisivu, kun se sijaitsee yksityisesti yli 3 hehtaarin maalla. Love this place!

We’ve stayed in this area a few times and this was our favorite rental! You cannot beat being right in the Cartecay River! We will definitely be back.

Our family and a couple friends had a lovely weekend at this beautiful cabin. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the river and the rooms a lot. We would love to visit again.

Rushing River Lodge

We are in our 80’s and didn’t realize that the master bedroom was on the 3rd floor with very steep and open stairs. We found that the main floor bedroom was much more accessible for us. However, the shower attached to that bedroom was not working so it was necessary to use the 3rd floor shower. We did, however, enjoy our stay and the river view was outstanding.

Birthday Getaway

We had a great time at the rushing river lodge! We were a multigenerational crew who went up for a weekend to celebrate birthdays. Favorite parts: sitting by the river, fishing and floating down the river, and relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the river. We slept with the window opened at night so we could hear the river—amazing! The house was super comfortable and had everything we needed for a very memorable weekend.

Best vacation

After all the cabins we have rented in north Georgia ,this was by far the best! The cabins location is excellent , close to downtown Ellijay ,Blue Ridge , orchards ,Amicola falls, other falls in area . The location on the cartecay river is perfect , allowing us to tube from cabin to a take out area further down stream . We saw abundance of deer around cabin and floating down river. It was the best family vacation we ever had ! The cabin is perfect with 3 seperste levels and privacy for everyone . Views over river are beautiful and peaceful . The house has everything you need and made us feel right at home . Thankyou for sharing this wonderful cabin !!

Great view and relaxing river sounds

This property is all about the view. You can not get a more beautiful river view than this cabin. Close to Atlanta and close to Elijay. It is well situated. The cabin was clean. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and worked well for us. There is one way into this property. There is a turnaround down from the house. I never looked forward to using it, as it was tight and very high up. But it worked. Any issues I mention are overcome by the river view. I did wish they had better lighting in the main living area. It is all overhead and I find it glaring and uncomfortable. A couple of lamps would solve this problem. Also the TV's are really cheap and the sound is so bad it was very hard to make out what was being said. Volume doesn't help. A sound bar would save the day. Overall this is a beautiful property. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed ourselves and spent a lot of time on the beautiful decks with comfortable chairs. But the best part was sitting by the river at night with a little fire. Fantastic.

Paradise on the River

This cabin is a gem right on the river with all the major amenities needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. Pros: Exceptionally clean, great location, direct river access on the best part of the river, beautiful home, very large porches, grill had extra propane, close proximity to waterfalls, hiking and downtown Elijah, well secluded, well equipped, and rental company communications were great. Cons (not complaints): Beds/pillows were not very comfortable, hot tub cover was very difficult to get on/off without 2 people, wish there were basic spices like salt and pepper, house is very creaky and makes it difficult to sleep if your on lower levels, would be great if river floats or kayaks were provided on property, and there should be more information provided in the cabin about the river and where to get in/out for tubing. Before entering the river for any type of water sports, do your research. The rapids get pretty intense further down the river and if you miss the takeout point, your in for a long treacherous journey down the river for many hours without any houses or takeouts in sight. Again this is not the responsibility of the rental home but I'm just passing along helpful information. All in all we had a great family vacation here and we will absolutely be back for future trips.

Check in was a breeze the key was in a lock box. House was very clean and welll supplied. Our only complaint would be the cob webs everywhere. We knocked down as many as we could to make it comfortable to sit on the porch. Miss Muffet spider spray would be a welcome addition to their cleaning supplies. Other than that it was wonderful. Very relaxing, the sound of the river was amazing and watching tubers going by was icing on the cake. I would recommend Rushing River Lodge to anyone. Oh, a king size bed in one of the bedrooms would be nice.

Best Anniversary Trip

The cabin was beautiful! Right on the rushing water of the Cartecay River and my husband had a blast fly fishing. Not the best river in the area for catching trout, but the property itself was perfect. At the end of the private road, on 3 acres where no one could bother us. We used the hot tub multiple times a day. If you cant use stairs, dont stay here because there are a lot. We found it to be the perfect piece of quiet paradise.

Awesome property

I rented this property for my wife’s birthday. When pulled onto the property and opened the door she said I hit it out of the park. This place is amazing. I would go back every time. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Great Vacation Spot

Loved the cabin and the separate levels. The river was very beautiful. Cabin is located close to several small towns that were wonderful for shopping etc. the beds were challenging.

Family vacation

Beautiful cabin with the creek/river right below us. It was very peaceful. Lots to do nearby activities and shopping. Our family e hours out stay! A few kinks No curtains in the bedroom I stayed in or blinds over the windows. Morning sun became an issue. None in the den either. Which was great for the den/kitchen area because lighting was poor for cooking We noticed a leak under the sink in the kitchen and could only use one side of the sink Trash was knocked over every night. It needs to be more secured. Wonderful cabin just needs a little more TLC

Beautiful spot

Rushing River Lodge is secluded and on a river. The only people we saw while at the lodge were kyakers. River access is easy and the fishing was a blast. We love that each bedroom was on a different level so while we were together as a family, everybody had their own space for private time. It was a wonderful vacation!

Spring break

We loved this cabin! The location on the river was perfect (the neighborhood driving in, not so much.) We appreciated that this was a dog-friendly property. It’s isolated enough yet still close to shops and restaurants! We had an amazing time!

Family Christmas vacation

This was the sweetest cabin in the mountains beside a beautiful creek! Our family truly enjoyed our stay here! So cozy from the Christmas tree to the fireplace to much more! We have told our family and friends all about this Awesome place and hope to come back again! Caught giant trout and saw multiple deer! We made many memories that will last a lifetime!

Wonderful, beautiful, peaceful

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the rushing River lodge for 4 nights. Beautiful accommodations. Waterfront seating with firepit. Kitchen is completely outfitted for most anything. Has a drip coffee maker as well as a keurig. Seating for dining in and outside. Porches on each level. Fabulous views of the river. Wish we had booked a longer stay!

Rushing River Journey

House and river were fantastic! Too much of a house for 2 people -- too many stairs to climb to get to river, hot tub. Turn around - not good! Gravel road into property was not very good for the car (even though we have a Suburu all wheel drive). Beds too high and squeaky - needed a step stool to climb up on it. Enjoyed Ethel's painting (since I am a little bit of an artist). Great location to meet up with friends that live quite close by.
