The family-friendly resort is one of the most popular on the island of Lanzarote. This resort was built in the 1980s and cannot be called ultra-modern, and requires some maintenance here and there. Near Costa Teguise there is a beautiful golf course and also a large Aqua water park.The villa is spacious and sunny and has 1 bedroom with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space with mirrors.
There is a folding bed in the living room, a pull-down bed behind mirror doors and a sofa bed.
The bathroom has a relaxing bath, bidet and toilet. In the adjacent room there is a large room with two sinks.
The open living room flows into a wooden nostalgic and somewhat dated yet charming kitchen. This has a microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, oven, induction plate, sandwich maker, kettle and sufficient crockery for up to 6 people.
You can enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace overlooking the water of the lagoon, and enjoy a drink and a glass of white wine in the evening.
A private beach on the lagoon is a 10-step walk from the sun terrace. There are several sunbeds here for lazing, reading or sunbathing, with a view of the water, white ibis and seagulls. The villa overlooks the lagoon and offers a wonderful sheltered place for young children to play on the beach.
For the older youth there are kayaks and paddle boards or rubber boats to paddle in, again extremely safe because of the sheltered nature of the lagoon, and there are no dangers of drifting into the open sea.
If you like sleek, modern and design, this place is less suitable, and the Sandsbeach resort also lives up to its name. When the weather is windy, things can be called Sandy!
