The town has a stunning 12th century abbey with the highest Norman tower in England, several museums, a Heritage Centre as well as a plethora of individual shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and wine bars. The town plays host to country and farmers' markets, musical events and Vintage and Food Fairs throughout the year. Many lovely walks can be enjoyed from the town with both the Severn Way and Shakespeare's Avon Way running close by.
