Tervetuloa Flounderin 'Around!

Tule nauttimaan kotimme, kotisi kaikkein upeimmista perheystävällisistä loma koskaan! Nauti rauhallisimmista auringonlaskuista ja auringonlaskuista kanavan yli aivan ikkunan ja kannen takaa. Suhtaudu ottamaan lapset kalastamaan, puristavat tai sivuttain etenevät oikean takan takaovesi omalla äskettäin rakennetulla yksityisellä telakalla. Sido veneesi tai käynnistä helposti kajakki- tai SUP-lauta (ei sisälly toimitukseen, mutta voi vuokrata paikallisesti) laiturilta askelmaisella reunalla tai rentoudu yhdellä kaikilla tasoilla sijaitsevista tilavista kannista ja katsele kalan hyppyä tai pelikaanipudotusta. mennessä syödäksesi purenta.

Kotimme oli hiljattain remontoitu vuoden 2017 loppupuolella. Löydät kaikki huoneet, jotka ovat tilavia ja vasta sisustettuja, tuttu ranta-talo sisustus. Myös upouusi ulkosuihku, jossa on vaihteleva alue avuksesi. Pelihuone, joka sijaitsee alakerrassa, on minijääkaappi ja märkä baari, jonka voit nauttia pöydällä tehdäksesi arvoituksia tai pelikortteja. Keittiössä on kaikki mitä tarvitset nauttimaan maukkaista aterioista. Jokainen voi istua yhdessä, kun ruokapöytä istuu 12. Hotellissa on myös aamiaisbaari, jossa on 4 paikkaa. Ulkona oleva hiiligrilli on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi maanpinnalla. Myös 2 puoli kylpyhuonetta (yksi pois suuri huone, yläkerrassa ja muut pois pelihuone, alemmalla tasolla). Keski-AC ja / tai lämpö on myös läsnä pitämään sinut viileänä tai lämpimänä. Myös pesukone ja kuivausrumpu avuksesi.

Great house. Great location. Comfortable beds Hot tub was great. Kitchen was well supplied.Some maintenance is needed. Nobody was able to get WiFi working because the listed network wasn't there. The master bedroom on the top floor has a TV but it didn't see anything connected. Cables were there but it was like there was no signal. 2nd floor master jacuzzi tub wouldn't start jets. I would absolutely stay in this house again but at least the WiFi needs to work. I sometimes need it for my profession.

Amazing House and views

This was our second year in a row staying at Flounderin’ Around. It is truly amazing! We love the location, sunrise and sunset views and being on the water. Thanks for another week of making memories with the family!

Great for a Family Vacation

We had a nice time in Frisco. The house is located close to great beaches and fishing spots. Fishing from the dock out back was nice for the kids. Adults enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the canal. The whole family had a great time!

The Perfect Spot

We absolutely loved the Flounderin’ Around. Wayne and Stacey were phenomenal hosts and we definitely will plan to stay there again. We loved the access to the sound for our daily kayak and fishing adventures! Our kiddos loved the hot tub too. Thank you Wayne and Stacey!!

Nice place

There seems to be a small roach issue. Despite paying a cleaning fee you will be asked to sweep and vacuum before check out, which I found odd. Other than that the house was very nice.

Not fantastic... just ok

Good location. Allowed early check-in. Arrival gift pack was nice - bottle of wine and some necessities. I booked for 12 people and we had 2 extra rolls of toilet paper provided... when most of the current rolls were about empty. No extra trash bags. Only about 6 forks were there. Hot tub did not work on arrival. Took 3 days to get it partially working. It was not in English, so we couldnt understand the menus. Jets and lights worked for 1 night (15 minutes) and then couldn't get them to work again. A couple cockroaches... not terrible. The 2nd floor master bath had some black spots so those staying in that room weren't comfortable using the jetted tub. Disappointed for the cost we paid for the week since we chose this place primarily for the hot tub against a cheaper place with similar space/location that provided other amentities.

House Maintenance & deep cleaning is lacking.....

After a long drive we were super excited to arrive to our vacation rental. We were greeted with trash cans on the curb, the steps/decking leading up to the front door are warping. Peeling paint and rusted light at the front door. Entering the home we smelled a musty smell right away. The carpet was not clean. Dust piled on the ceiling fan. Dust on vents and in the hvac room. We loved the location and the views from every window. We were so very disappointed. We have never had an issue with a VRBO Rental. Every home previously were very well maintained. We reached out to VRBO within an hour of arriving. They asked us to contact the Host directly which we did. Host said they would call the cleaning company to confirm they had cleaned. The host reached back out to confirm the housekeeping had been to the home & they never get complaints. This was not the issue. The issue was the rust, dust, musty odor "mold?" and the decking.These were safety concerns. Our son has allergies and asthma so this was not a safe environment for us. We really wanted to love this home as it had very good reviews. The host communicated there was nothing they can do for us and they would not be issuing a refund but the next day we noticed a small refund was issued. Overall extremely disappointing experience. I wish VRBO had an independent third party company to inspect these properties for maintenance. We tried to resolve this through the owners & VRBO to no avail.

Great time

Everything was amazing, the only complaint I have is couldn’t use the hot tub most of the trip because it kept leaking. The hot tub guys kept coming out and said they put stop leak in it, but never fixed it. The hot tub was one of the reason I got the house.

Spring break with family

What an amazing place to stay! We met with family to spend the week together. Plenty of room for everyone inside and out. We started our mornings sitting on the top deck with coffee enjoying how peaceful & beautiful it was. When we weren't out exploring or off fishing the surf we were out back crabbing and fishing from the dock. The water edge was a hit with kids using their nets they brought along to catch small little creatures & observing them before releasing them back. We enjoyed cooking meals together then all being able to sit together at the large table. The kitchen is stocked with everything & I mean everything you could need and then some! Bedding was provided for each bed along with a towels. The owners and even left a nice bag welcome bag for us! I would highly recommend this home for your family vaction! You will not be disappointed!

The property and home was well kept and clean. Except for forks, the kitchen was well supplied. The home was as we remembered from 17 years ago.

Nice cottage

We enjoyed crabbing off the dock. The house is not far from plenty of public access spots to the beach and sound side. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance we could need. The waffle maker was a hit with the kids. Our group appreciated the huge dining room table where we could all sit and eat together. The housekeeping could use some work as we found candy wrappers between the bed and the wall when we were putting sheets on the beds and a couple of roaches. Over all it was a good house for the price for our group and we would stay here again.

Great house for our fishing trip

Overall, this house is great! It was spacious and had plenty of beds and areas to just hangout. We went on a fishing trip with 6 guys and it was perfect. The a/c worked great! The only small issues we had were a few dead cockroaches sitting around, not enough toilet paper, a broken deck chair, and some trash under a couple of the beds. We would not only book this house for another fishing trip, but we would feel confident bringing our families too!

Fun Spring Break Getaway

We had an awesome time at the house. It fit our family perfectly and couldn't ask for more. The house looked just like the listing. The hot tub was nice to get into to unwind after our days out with all the kids. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Thanksgiving at the beach!

We have been lucky enough to stay at this property a handful of times. The owners are incredibly responsive. The house itself is in a great location, quiet neighborhood. All around great place!

Nice stay

Overall our stay was great. The house was clean with the exception of the air fryer and oven. The location was great, loved being on the water! Close to Buxton beach. The owners were nice to work with, very friendly and quick to respond. It was our anniversary and they left us a bottle of wine with a nice note. Super hosts! Now for the not so good. We had no freezer the entire time. It kept freezing shut. We contacted the owners and they said to unplug it for a while. After unplugging it for the third time, we just went out and bought ice for our cooler. This was a major inconvenience for us given we had frozen meat brought from home and we couldn’t get popsicles or ice cream…bummer. The linens provided weren’t great but we brought our own anticipating that. We didn’t use the hot tub because it was way over chlorinated and burned our noses when we lifted the lid, seriously we were coughing it was so bad. The house should have never been rented without a freezer imho. The cleaning company and hot tub company should be addressed by the owners. In any event we did enjoy or stay.
