Great place but maintenance was needed throughout

Beautiful but the property was not well maintained. Steps from house to pool broken. They were fixed in timely manner. Bathtubs with broken plugs. Mostly small things. We enjoyed our stay very much and would rent again but hopefully some regular maintenance work will improve things.

Great location, awesome place! Plenty of rooms very spacious with a nice pool area. Short walk across the street to the beach. Couldn’t have been more pleased.

A Well Kept Secret

Easy in and out. 8 guys on a golf trip had a great time. The operation of the main TV needs to be easier or there needs to be instructions. We had a minor lock problem but the property manager was here in 10 minutes and fixed that. Overall, I’d come back.

Overall Stay

The property was very clean and spacious. The only problem was the security code for one of the doors didn't work. The ceiling fan in one room didn't work. Called the 800 number and they responded promptly. The shower door in one of the rooms shattered. We were told they would supply a shower curtain for the room and it didn't happen. But the property manager said it was an accident, therefore we were not charged for the replacement. Great location for getting to the beach, only 5 to 8 minute walk. We would recommend this for future guest. Also parking was good. Also close proximity to other venues for food and entertainment.

Canceled the day of check-in

Renters beware... canceled the day I was supposed to check in. VRBO made contact..never heard from owner. Supposedly there was a washer water line problem and it flooded the condo?? Looked thru pics and see no carpet they were tearing up.. I have my own ideas what really happened if you know what I mean .. still no pics to verify this cancellation!!

Large house for big family

This was a very good property to rent if you have a lot of people. I had my family which consisted of 9 adults and 9 kids. 8 bedrooms and 8 full baths along with 2 kitchens and 2 family rooms. Four bedrooms had king beds and private baths. Interior of property was clean however it does need some painting and a little updating but overall was comfortable. Exterior pool was a disappointment. When we arrived the pool wasn’t clean but management sent someone right over next morning to clean. There were six plastic lounge chairs and all but one was broken so we had to go purchase chairs to lay out by pool. Also the landscaping was in poor condition around pool with weeds. In addition, there were a couple of plastic chairs on the balconies and one that was cracked broke when one of our family members sat in it. Beach is located across the street but it is a busy street. Overall we had a great time.

Great house and location, with opportunities for improvement (cleanliness, guest services response)

Pros: We loved the house. Layout was very comfortable for everyone (4 families - all parents got a king bed suite, all siblings had their own room with full bed + bathroom). The kids loved the pool and the balconies, and we all appreciated the proximity/easy walk to the public access beach (which was busy but not crowded). Also great A/C and hot water. Cons: Cleaning service missed several things before our arrival. We found broken glass in one of the bathrooms, days old hard boiled eggs in the cabinet on top of the plates, the grill was filthy and all the grease caught fire when we used it, and trash under several beds. Guest services, while very courteous, were not particularly helpful. We submitted a maintenance order the morning after we arrived to have someone come hammer in all the popped nail heads we kept stepping on on the back deck and back steps. This was not addressed during our visit. And when we informed Guest Services of the broken glass in the bathroom, the only response we got was "thank you for bringing this to our attention". We were very lucky that none of the children or adults (who were all walking around barefoot in the house) was injured, so we expected something more to make it right.

LOOK twice before booking!!!

We recently stayed and had many issues with this home. Called to report everything and STILL waiting for a return call to discuss issues. The house/pool was not clean. Several things were broken….door lock issues, needs new dryers (plural), mold in several bedrooms and jets in tubs had a ton of mold, boards on decks need to be replaced and doors for out door shower, grill is disgusting. The pool area has mold, broken brick, rust marks at the bottom of the pool and the landscaping hasn’t been done in I don’t know how long. Everything overgrown. People coming in and out of the house without notifications so put all valuables up and make sure to have clothes on. Was called to be told that they were showing the house at 6 and didn’t even know it was up for sale. Think twice for the amount of money your spending.

End of Summer Beach Vacation

We had a group of twenty family & friends between the ages of 17 and 60 stay for four nights. What we liked most besides the private pool was that we had two four bedroom, four bath units under one roof. The best part about that was we had two kitchens, two fridges and two living rooms for everyone to spread out and relax.

Great property for extended family. Plenty of room for socializing and privacy all in one. The balconies facing the beach were a favorite spot for all ages.

The house wasn’t clean

The house was OK what me and my guesses didn’t like it was a that the house wasn’t cleaning when we arrived. The bathrooms were not clean especially most of the bathtubs, the towels had a bad smell. We have to put all the towels on the washer. Short on supplies for large groups occupancy. The dishes also were nasty the sofas you can tell they haven’t vacuum or wash on a long time people were in and out of the house with out letting you know, the pool was pretty nasty the cleaning fees on this house are really high and to find the house pretty nasty, it was not a good experience and also they charge me another extra $125 because of trash and dishes . Just make sure don’t leave no even one dish on the sink, I took all of the trash out put the dishes on the dishwasher and they still charge me $125 after the money they charge on cleaning fees. I won’t rent this house again Not happy

Not flexible

Property was as described. Good location. Short on supplies for a large group occupying both units. Beware check in is 4pm and check out is 9am with no flexibility. Property manager will schedule house viewings without permission. It’s up to the group renting the property to respond no to the showing. I would not rent from this property manager again. For ten years we’ve been doing weekly family outings with 15-20 people. This was the only experience we’ve had that was frustrating.

The Perfect Stay!

Went with a group of friends for a much needed getaway. Keyless entry with locks on both sides so no need to go through a check in/out process. The house was stunning! A mirror image duplex with doors that open the kitchen/dining/living room to each side of the house. (Each floor and each master had its own thermostat!) It was our own little sanctuary for the weekend. Secluded enough to feel like a private escape, but close enough to the public beach entrance and the rest of the main attractions to feel like you are right in the center. We booked in October. The weather was gorgeous. The beach was gorgeous and had the clearest waters I've even seen in Gulf Shores. The back deck was amazing for grilling and lounging and swimming. If I had any questions, I was able to send a message and get a prompt response. My group has already planned our next trip with the hopes of renting the house again. The ONLY complaint we had was that there were a lot of stairs. But it made each floor feel like it's own condo and we all left with amazing calf definition! We were all very pleased with our stay.

Couples Weekend

House was clean and all new furniture. Lots of pots & pans to cook. Pool has lights incase you want to catch a late night swim. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels & dishwashing liquid. Other then that the house was grezt and they responded quickly to any maintenance problems right away

East vs West

We rented both sides of the property. The east side was perfect. The west side was dirty, had dirty sheets on the pull out bed, hole in the wall going up to the 3rd floor landing, red/sticky something on a bedroom wall, dirty stove full of crumbs, the west side had a horrible smell upon entering like someone had just cooked curry. walls needed touch up paint.

Relaxing place with plenty of room to gather as a family or have space of your own!

Fenced in swimming pool area and enjoyed being able to make meals instead of hauling everyone out to a restaurant every night. We could have used more dish towels/Dish cloths too. Appreciated washer/dryer available on both sides!

Great house

Great house and easy beach access. Overall very nice. Would have expected the pool to have a skimmer and had someone come during the week to clean it with the rain and debri at the bottom of the pool. There were also tiles missing from the pool that needed to be finished. Also area around pool needed to be weeded.

Amazing Experience
