Ants and gnats every where. Not enough basic cleaning items, like dish sponge. Downstairs bunk beds are not sturdy. Neighbors chain sawing at 7 am in the morning.

Oregon Coast Getaway

Home was in same area of Beautiful Neskowin Beach State Recreation Site. 5 min drive from the house.to parking area - then less than 5 min walk to beach.Home was very comfortable for family 5 adults 4yr & 15 month. 3 separate bathrooms and downstairs bathroom with laundry room for easy clean up from a day at the beach. Lincoln City 20 mins plenty of beautiful beaches/shops/restaurants. Lighthouses within an hours. Oregon Coast Aquarium 1 hr. Tillamook Creamery 45 mins.Great home base !

Neskowin house

Lovely home perched in the trees. Perfect great room and kitchen area. 10 minute walk to beach. We are older and were fine with the stairs, but you might want to include it in the information. Also I wa told there are no Hair dryers. You might want to include that in amenities, because there was a Hairdryer.haircdruer.

A quiet and peaceful rental

We liked the size and layout of the house and the access to the beach (a walk through the dunes to it). It was clean and well-stocked. However, it could use some 'beach property' maintenance. The windows are rusting and some were not working well. Windows also need a good washing. The house is in a very quiet area and our stay was a great respite from the chaos of the world right now.

Home close to Neskowin Beach State Recreation Site

The perfect place for our family, 5 Adults /2 little ones 4yrs and 15 mons .. Separate sleeping areas each with a bathroom, bathroom downstairs attached to laundry area for easy clean up after day at the beach Minutes to the beach if parking at Neskowin Beach State Entrance. a short 5 mins drive from the house. Beach is beautiful from low tide to sunset. Farmers Market on Saturday right across from Entrance of Neskowin Beach Parking lot Lincoln City 20 mins for more wonderful beaches/shops/Restaurants Would stay again.. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great house!

This house has a great location- quiet, close to the beach, beautiful yard. The house is well set up for a few families to share. We had the cousins together in the ping-pong room and the grown-ups had their own spaces upstairs. Neskowin has a cute coffee shop and an adorable ice cream truck in town that we frequented. It was a nice walk down to get a treat.

quiet beach retreat with room to relax

We enjoyed our stay in this home. There was plenty of room to relax, large windows to see outside, cozy furniture, and plenty of hot water. The quiet community had us close to the beach and a short drive to Lincoln City, but it felt like we were a million miles away from anywhere. We would certainly go back with a larger group as there was so much room we would not feel crowded.

Quiet and Comfortable Coastal Stay

This house is quiet and somewhat secluded from the rest of already very quiet Neskowin. It's an easy 3-5 minute walk to the beach, the couches are comfortable the the Smart TV connects with your streaming accounts so you aren't confined to only watching basic cable. The beds were quite comfortable and the hot water never ran out in the shower or bath. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking implements to cover the basics of making breakfast as well.

Location is great.

If you are looking for a cute area and close private beach, this is a great place for that. Walk to the beach in a few minutes. The house was ok. The power upstairs didn’t work, but the rest of the house did. There were a good amount of ants all around the house. The information to get into the house was wrong and it took some time for the property management company to get us the correct info. The key pad never worked and maybe had something to do with the no power in the one section of the house. Overall the house was fine, we can manage the issues we had. But really enjoyed the location and beach with hardly anyone else out there. Fun exploring with the family.

Lovely place to stay

This was a lovely place to stay. The newer carpet was appreciated and overall it was a great spot for our family. You can walk to the beach via some private paths just in front - it's a 5 minute walk. Just a few critiques: The kitchen could stand to include some additional pots, pans, and accessories for making a meal from scratch. We found ourselves struggling to cook a full meal without washing a pan or two to re-use it. The master bed is shot. I've never seen such a clapped out bed in a rental before. You can sneeze and it squeaks and the whole thing was pretty loose. That and the mattress is no good - there was a foam pad on top of it that clearly is a stop-gap to buying a new mattress. I slept fine, but my wife did not. It's a little tacky that the owners haven't built locking storage in the garage for their private stock. Asking folks to not use the garage seems unnecessary. Having owned beach houses in the past, I was a little shocked to find this. We always had locking storage in the garage or tucked away in parts of the house. Very odd.

Idaho vacationers

The place is nice, would consider renting again. Did get a bit of a scare when a bar broke into the garbage can. Dumped it a second time and put it into garage. Plenty of space, good distance to the ocean, and a nice kitchen to cook in.

Great place

We had a very wonderful time for our 2nd visit ! Thank you for sharing your house. It is a great fit for our family of 4 + grandma. We would just recommend having some coat holders in the foyer for rainy days and check the doors of the bathtubs that are a little difficult to maneuver. We are hoping to come back!

Great get-away with easy access to the beach

The "Rain or Shine" rental was great! Well equipped, spacious and bright. A quarter mile walk to the beach and easy 15 minutes drives to hiking and bird watching opportunities. We encountered two issues: door lock didn't function properly because the batteries were low, and propane tank ran out of gas. We called on the first one and were provided access to the key box. And calling the second got us a filled propane tank, on Thanksgiving Day no less, within 30 minutes. We honored the request to remove shoes before going upstairs, but the place could really use some benches, shoe mats and coat hooks near the entrance to facilitate the request. Otherwise, hoping for a redo next year.

A great vacation house!

A great floor plan for a vacation house! It was one of the cleanest houses I’ve ever stayed in. We loved the ping pong table! The location is so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees. We couldn’t find the nearby beach access past visitors and the description mentioned, but it’s a short drive and walk to proposal rock. The heat in the master bedroom didn’t work, but will hopefully be fixed before winter.
