Lovely spot in Lake Norman

The house is older and a little dated and could use some updates in the linen and towels department. Also the sink is old and stained. The water tastes like copper so we had to purchase several of gallons of drinking water. The kitchen was well equipped and we had the basic started package of paper foods to get us through the first couple of days. The shower in the master bath is in the toilet room and tiny so we didn’t use it. The house bit of a Funky layout. But it’s warm and cozy and clean and has a nice deck. Since it was winter we didn’t use the outside amenities. For the price point I would still recommend this house.

Nice Location in Quite Cove

Good 3-bedroom rental property. Inside was very clean with stocked kitchen. Outside deck was very dirty and furniture was pretty rough. Beautiful new boat dock in a quiet cove so overall a nice rental property

I stayed in the House for 12days and I enjoyed the Lake view and the House was fine. Here is a list of items I wish The House supplied. Full length mirror, serrated knife, pizza pan for oven, scissors. Otherwise the House had everything I wanted.

Great quiet cove on the lake...

Nice place - great for couples or family. The three Queen beds was also a plus - with three couples. REALLY nice deck and grill + dock right there - easy to get on the lake. VERY nice place.

Peaceful and relaxing

The view from the deck is beautiful!!! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood but close to open water. The home was very clean. We did have a plumbing issue but maintenance was out within an hour and customer service was exceptional. Thanks for sharing this home with us. And the neighbors dog was extra friendly and our granddaughter loved each time that he walked over to visit. We hope to go back again!

Great house on the Lake! Perfect for families and great gathering areas on back deck.

I would recommend this property. We brought the boat and had easy access with the cove and dock. Enjoyed wonderful sunsets from the dock or back deck. Nice open kitchen.

Relaxing Lakeside Getaway

Fantastic location on the lake. Small cove where you can swim and float around but close to a larger area of the lake to boat/tube/ski. You get the best of both! Being able to dock our boat at the house was a huge benefit. We loved the layout of the house allowing plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The back deck is spacious and the perfect place to watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and dishes needed to make meals at home so you can spend more time enjoying the beautiful lake and not driving around getting meals. The owners provide a binder with great information about the area which was very helpful. The only suggestion for further enhancing stays at this wonderful property would be adding a Keurig coffee maker for quicker/easier coffee access and a larger, higher wattage microwave. We would definitely return to this house for another relaxing lakeside getaway!! If you are searching for a house right on the lake with plenty of room, beautiful views, and easy access to the water then this is the house for you.

Really fun week on the lake

The house is well appointed and in good condition. It has a great deck off of the living room and kitchen with great views of the lake. It is not a super perfect luxury property, it’s a lake house but it is quite nice with everything you need to be very comfortable. The beds are good and kitchen and baths I’m good condition. The patio and shade trees were perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

Great view of the lake

The best feature of this location was the deck and the beautiful view of the lake. We spent a good amount of time outside on the deck doing crafts, reading and enjoying the fresh air. The house is cozy but not laid out well. The indication of two baths was unclear that one is extremely small. Overall, the layout of the house was a bit awkward. But, the kitchen was well equipped (except it lacked a toaster) and the garbage can situation was confusing. There were no cans on the property--they were located at the edge of the road and property and were already placed there (counter to what we were told in the instructions). We enjoyed our time together and appreciate having access to the home.

Perfect lake weekend!

We had a gathering of friends come and stay for the weekend and had the best time. The house has everything you need and accommodates many, comfortably. We especially loved the neighbors corgi that ended up hanging out with us on the porch all weekend!!! :) This house is perfect for a group of adults, families, or anyone that enjoys a relaxing time on the lake!

Great weekend away

We had a couples weekend away from kids. House was in a great location with boat dock and amazing views. Very clean, spacious with nice amenities inside and out. Quiet cove and the neighbors were very friendly. We would absolutely book this house again. Only negative was it was difficult getting in contact with management company and getting them to return calls for information for check in. On a good note with the management company, they called us two hours prior to check in and said the house was ready and we could go in early if needed.

We had a wonderful time. This home has an awesome view of the lake. It was very relaxing to have my morning tea on the spacious deck. My son spent most of his day fishing off the dock. It is off a quite cove. Plenty of room for my brother to pull up his pontoon boat. This home had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation on the lake. We would definitely come back.

Just what we needed for the week.

Great location! More of a cabin feel vs. a house, which we liked. Discription says 3 bedrooms, however upon entering the home there’s a Day bed with pull out bed. We loved the boat dock and the communication between the rental people and us was simple. It met all of our needs!

Beautiful home right on the water

Our family just came back from staying a week in this beautiful home. The home is near the end of a quiet street and the back faces the water of a quiet cove that leads directly to Lake Norman. The house was clean, nicely decorated and looked like it was just renovated. You will find everything you need in the house. The patio is shaded by 2 big trees and is a great place to sit outside all hours of the day. Our teenagers enjoyed jumping off the back dock and swimming around the dock. And the dock is also a good place for cat fishing! This house is a good base for Carowinds and the South Mountains State Park. Was a great place to relax with our family!
