Tervetuloa seuraavaan kotisi poissa kotoasi Cougar-leirille! Tämä upeasti sisustettu loma-asunto sijaitsee suositulla Deer Mountain -alueella, lähellä kaikkia Northern Hills-virkistystoimintaa. Spearfish Canyon on kauniiden lampien, purojen, kanjonin seinien, luolien ja patikoinnin kanssa 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä hotellista. Voit myös nauttia paikallisia ruokia Cheyenne Crossing -sivustolla Spearfish Canyonin sisäänkäynnillä - tämä sijainti on vaikea voittaa! Deadwood ja Terry Peak ovat kaikki 15 minuutin päässä hotellista, kun taas Ski Mystic Miner on vain 1 mailin päässä! Girl’s weekend for long distance friends

We drove from Oakes, ND and Steamboat, CO and met in Lead, SD and stayed at the Cougar Cabin. We were very impressed from the minute we drove up! Beautiful property and such a serene setting. The cabin was beautiful and very clean! Rooms were great as was the rest of the cabin! Loved hot tubbing in the morning while the sun rose.Thanks for helping us make some amazing memories!!

The hot water downstairs and water pressure did not work. Also the screen door is ripped and the one green chair slat was ripped. Overall location and the cabin was cozy. Nice to be close to Deadwood 😊

Cougar Cabin

Would've been nice to know the cabin was a 1/4 mile down a dirt and gravel road because we rode motorcycles. There was no AC in the cabin but there were numerois fans. Lastly, the master bedroom tub looked like it needed cleaned. Temperatures luckily dropped and the heat worked well. Everything else was great.

Fireplace would not stay on, electric heaters did not work and the pans were dirty upon our arrival. Great location, easy to book!

Our first Vrbo stay

Snowmobiling in SD was just what our family needed! We chanced the early reservation and hoped for snow! We had a great time! We enjoyed our relaxing, comfortable stay at the Cougar Camp! We had lots of open space, comfortable beds and furniture. The cabin was very well supplied with towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Our few days on the trails and staying at the cabin exceeded our expectations!

Northern hills getaway

Very comfortable cabin. Looks even better than the pictures. Fire pit and hot tub came in handy along with the Weber grill. Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful area and can’t wait to come back again. Had a few minor issues but a quick text to Budi and he answered our questions. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to relax or go out for some adventure.

Family weekend

Beautiful cabin, very easy to find. Love the setup and layout inside. Only suggestion would be maybe have a few more pots and pans for cooking. Had to improve bit. The exterior of the cabin could use a little work also. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Yearly Riding Vacation

We have been coming to the hills for a lot of years and the Cougar Cabin has been by far the nicest property we’ve stayed at. Great riding location for UTV’s, hiking and relaxing. The cabin had everything a person needs, from a blender to grill seasonings. We used some things and left some for the next family. Beds super comfortable, never ran out of hot water, the hot tub was amazingly spotless and nice. Peaceful sitting on the deck in the mornings and evening. Property owner was super nice and accommodating, we will stay here again for certain.

It's close enough to the highway to have easy access, yet tucked back in the trees so that you still feel secluded. It's a clean, cozy, comfortable retreat.We did have a bit of an issue with the hot water and the internet. The hot water wasn't a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. The internet was disappointing because I specifically asked about it prior to booking; I'm meeting with patients via video conference and I wanted to keep those appointments while we were at the cabin. Unfortunately, the internet was too slow for that. Additionally, the materials at the cabin specifically state that video streaming is not permitted with that type of internet. I was able to cancel and reschedule appointments and it was not a huge problem, but I would have booked a different cabin if I had known.

A bit dissapointed

This is about the 20th time I have rented through VRBO this is the first time I have not been pleased. First the communication skill within the property manager office is unacceptable. The first interaction resulted in my email being returned so I called and got the “can’t be completed as dialed” For 2 days. Finally I received the rental agreement. I was to sign and return. That wasn’t a possibility so I copied and signed. And returned by mail. I used the reply on that email to ask them to call me of course that didn’t happen. The Week of our trip I was finally able to call and get a response. I asked Budi for the entry info she said I would receive that on the morning of our stay. I told her we would not have service on that travel day. Everyone who lives in the area knows the cell service is spotty at best. I told her this and she asked me to call her in the morning before we left home. That was 6am I’m sure she would have answered the call. I did check my email and had a DocuSign cancellation notice. If I had received the original she wouldn’t have had to send the cancellation email. Maybe she could just have called when I asked her to. The house was not clean dust so thick on the stairs you could write your name in it, hair noticeable on the floor of both bathrooms. The outside is in disrepair and needs weeds trimmed I don’t ever leave a review on anything because I think they are somewhat relative. I thought this was worth the time so the owner knows what a poor job her management is doing . Whatever you are paying its way to much. I am not sure what I paid for cleaning but it should be returned. I usually don’t have to scrub the bathrooms and floor when I am renting a house with a usually ridiculous Cleaning fee. I am truly sorry for this review. As the owner you need to know. The cabin is a nice place we enjoyed our stay.
