Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at Eagles Nest in late June. You cannot beat the location and layout. For a big group, it's perfect, especially with so many bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms (and the downstairs for kids). The kitchen and living areas are ideal for gathering, and the pool is the perfect place to spend an afternoon when you grow tired of the beach. Some areas of the house are "well-loved" but overall, it's a great setup. The ice maker was a bonus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great rental experience with Grayton Coast Rentals. We have used them for 20+ years, and always pretty much know what to expect. When the house we had rented for years was taken out of the rental options, they found us another house and we like it even better. Nothing fancy to look at, and definitely a beach house, but perfect for our large crowd. The location is perfect for the beach, the lake and it has a great pool. Have reserved it for next year already! The rental company is very responsive to any issues.

Beautiful views and amenities but roaches spoil!

Our whole family agrees that this location with the proximity to gulf AND lake is ideal. It's encouraging to see the improvements that have been made to this beach house over the past few years, too. All of that kind of pales though when you start seeing roaches. There were enough sightings downstairs to make our grandchildren want to sleep upstairs with us. Luckily we had a spare room for them. The ones in the kitchen and family area were too much, though! We sent an email at midnight on Saturday after we arrived, and the rental company was very responsive, having someone there the next morning (Sunday) to address the immediate problem areas and the exterminator there on Monday. We continued to see live and dead ones throughout the week though, so it put a damper on our trip. Not sure if it's a problem for this house or the area but we have not had this problem in any of the other places we have rented up and down 30A over the past 13 years.

Eagle's Nest is Awesome

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though this house isn't fancy or elaborate, it is a perfect beach house - roomy and comfortable. The family room area gets fairly warm in the afternoons with the FL sun coming in, but shades would eliminate that issue! Grayton Coast Rentals is immediately responsive to any issue and the easiest and best to deal with. The office manager, Jenny, is knowledgeable and friendly. We have rented from them for over 15 years and keep coming back to their company. Can't think of a better recommendation!

Great Location

The lower level furniture was a little worn but kids enjoyed the area.

The perfect getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in one of the best locations in Grayton Beach (and maybe all of 30a). You can walk right onto the beautiful beach but also have lake access with a private dock. The space is thoughtfully designed to accommodate large groups with multiple decks, a huge pool, a game room, and an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan. The beds were super comfortable and the house provides ample extra linens, which we needed after a weeklong stay. 10/10 would definitely come back and stay at this house!

Excellent beach Access

Really enjoyed our stay. The location, area and the beach access was excellent !!! Having a heated pool was an excellent bonus. A few things could have been improved (one of the doors did not lock, the table tennis table net can be fixed) however overall we were very happy and would stay there again. It was really nice to have the lake at the back as well and that provided the children with hours of fishing which they loved !
