Stylish lakefront home with spectacular main channel views! And, the best sunsets on Lake Norman with plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy! The spacious covered deck is comfortably furnished with a sofa, and two large chairs which face the beautiful outdoor fireplace. There are several tables and plenty of chairs for al fresco dining and watching those amazing sunsets! Enjoy the gas grill and a cooler for your favorite chilled beverages. Lake living at its finest!

Also located outside is a large patio with a fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs. Perfect for toasting s'mores and close-up viewing of the activity on the lake! There is an outdoor shower too, convenient for rinsing off after a fun day on the water.

Inside you'll find a tv area with comfy upscale furniture and lots of fun lake-inspired decor. The kitchen is modernized with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook your own gourmet meals, or kick it old school with hamburgers and hotdogs on the outdoor grill! Downstairs is another cozy sitting area with a sofa, four large chairs, a tv and gas fireplace. New this season is a sit-down PAC MAN arcade video game for one or two players! Perfect for a rainy afternoon or when you aren’t hanging out on the beautiful deck or patio! This vintage charmer boasts one king size master bed, 2 queen size beds and 2 twin beds which offers lots of sleeping options for 8. Plus, there are 3 full bathrooms. The perfect couples or family getaway!

Dock space is available on the property with plenty of watercraft rentals in the area. Two kayaks and several floats are available for guest use.

This home has many extras to make your stay as comfortable as visiting a lovely bed and breakfast with the coziness of home. Should you choose to venture out, all the conveniences of historic Mooresville are just minutes away for dining out or enjoying the many things this charming town has to offer. Charlotte is 25 minutes away if you want to enjoy the big city offerings of theater, professional sports and fine dining. This property is wonderful. The house has so many things going for it, it’s hard to list them all. The interior has charming vintage decor and many homey touches. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the living areas had so much space and lots of books, games and fun conversation pieces. The outdoor area is a cut above other properties. Our party had a great time using the big outdoor covered deck. And observing sunsets while sitting on the dock was a real treat. The house is clean and well maintained. The flat parking area is also good for older adults who don’t want to climb stairs. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect location on the lake

Great spot, spotless home with everything you need to have a great time and to relax. Nice dock, makes boating easy. Huge outdoor deck got lots of use. Enjoyed it all, would love to book again.

Absolutely Amazing !!

If you're looking to rent a lake home - look no further - just book it! Our whole family stayed here for my son's graduation form Davidson and it was PERFECT! The home is so much more that the listing provides and the photos show. Staying here is like staying at a friend's home - it literally has everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked and ready for entertaining - more seasonings than in my own kitchen! Fun trucks & train toys for the little one, lake toys for the big ones and the most amazing outdoor living space complete with a grill, smoker, cooler, fireplace and so much comfy furniture. We cancelled our dinner reservations and grilled steaks and played on the lake for hours. Sunset paddle boarding,,,,, just amazing. The only thing we didn't like was having to go home. Wish we found this home when our son was a freshman. THANK YOU for sharing.

We had an amazing family trip. The house was very clean. The host was easy to contact and messages back very quickly. The amentities included and extras in house like beach towels were nice. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home!

We rented this house for a weekend meet up with family and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Every detail was taken care of and the owners were great communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. My kids loved all the eclectic decor and the kayaks that were included to use on the lake. Great experience and would love to stay at this relaxing retreat in the future!

Memorial Day Weekend

Fabulous property! Very clean and well stocked with regular towels, beach towels and lots of kitchen supplies! The location is great, very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. We loved the outdoor fire pit for smores, the kayaks, the outdoor shower and the stand up paddle board. The highlight of our stay was the huge outdoor covered patio with the stunning lake views. We spent all of our time at the house out on the patio, it was perfect! Owners are responsive and easy to work with, we hope to be visit again soon!!

This house is an absolute dream

Besides this property being totally beautiful. The owner was always in communication and ready to help in any way possible. The rooms are awesome. we never really were in the house as we spent most our time on the outside patio fireplace just soaking up the view!!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Special Place

My family of 4 and another family of 4 stayed at this special place. We had a wonderful time with a great view of the lake from the very nice covered deck. The owners were great to work with and the location can’t be beat on the water and near so many things. The house was perfect in size, clean and quaint. We are already discussing going back!! Thanks

Incredible space!

This home was so accommodating with the space provided both inside and outside. We traveled with two little kids (2 & 4) and there was everything from kids cups to toys for the kids. The hospitality showed by the owners was second to none and made us feel like it was our home. We will ABSOLUTELY be back in the future to stay at this property! 5 stars and would definitely recommend to any of our family and friends!

Hi! We are Brad & Dell Barton! We are originally from North Carolina but lived all across the country for many years working and raising our family. About 10 years ago, while still living in Pennsylvania, we found this lovely property for sale. We needed a place to land when visiting our family and friends in North Carolina. It was love at first sight! Despite the run down condition of the property, we knew this was THE one. The house had been built with loving care by the Earnhardt family in 1970 and we restored it the same. Every room and living space inside and out has been refurbished and updated, while still keeping the original lake house vibe. I hope we did them proud! About 4 years ago we retired and relocated to Denver, North Carolina to be closer to family and friends. And our lake house! So now we want to share our beautiful lake front property with you! We hope you love it as much as we do!

This property was built in 1970 by a local grocer and his family. When we purchased the home in 2012 it had fallen into disrepair and needed an overhaul. We love a project, and immediately went to work upgrading the property for our own family use. Everything from the floors, cabinets, walls, appliances, exterior, decks, porches, roof, pier and landscaping have been replaced and/or improved over the past 10 years. If you're looking to grab the feel of an original lake house home, and relax by the water with some of the best sunsets on the lake - you'll love it here, we promise! The newly covered deck has ample space for the whole family to enjoy. You can watch the many boats pass, including the historic Catawba Queen Paddle Boat, or The Lady of the Lake, or rent your own at one of the local marinas. There is ample dock space to park a boat and enjoy some of the lake activities directly. We recently installed a "Ring Doorbell/Camera" on the front door only. This allows us to monitor the front porch and driveway for security purposes. We hope you enjoy your stay here and come again soon!

This lake front home has tons of privacy, ample parking and cozy and comfortable bedrooms and living space. There are two interior gas fireplaces and an exterior fireplace located on the covered deck, plus a fire pit out on the patio. (You must provide your own firewood.) A gas grill on the deck makes outdoor cooking easy and accessible and plenty of tables and chairs makes alfresco dining inviting and fun! Beautiful, mature landscaping adds to the vintage charm. Come stay at one of Lake Norman's most authentic and charming homes!
