Memorial Day weekend getaway

Very clean, nice to have a fenced yard for a dog. Kitchen was decently equipped. The location is excellent to be able to walk to the beach, Pelican Brewery, the market, and other shops.

Lovely stay at the beach

We enjoyed our stay in Pacific City. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kids, plus local family members came to hang out. The beach equipment and the bikes were great to have available. There's a great short hike just behind the house and and easy walk to the beach. The hot tub was a nice way to relax in the evenings.

Excellent location, short walk to everything!

We are a busy family of 5 that jumped at the chance to get away on a rare free weekend. The location was excellent - close to all Pacific City has to offer! No sidewalk to walk on to get into town, but the shoulder is wide and we felt perfectly safe. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome bonuses to an overall great house! Can’t wait to come back!

Nice house that fit our needs

We really enjoyed the couple nights that we stayed here. The check-in process was pretty effortless, and the house itself was exactly like it was described in the listing. Our favorite parts of the house were the backyard for entertaining, the hot tub, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the supplies (including seasonings, oil,) and nice kitchen essentials. The home was also clean and tidy. Our kids really enjoyed the garage game room. My only suggestions would be to add more blankets as the comforters were quite thin on the bed. In addition, the house could use some fresh paint inside and fixing of the significant wall damage throughout, the home has cameras outside which were a bit off putting considering that one is facing the hot tub. (Maybe a front door camera would be sufficient) One of the bikes in the garage was in working order and the other one was not. Lastly, home is off a pretty busy road if you’re walking to the beach with young children. The town itself is very fun. Loved our stay in this nice home! We will be back! Thank you for having us.

Great family home with plenty of space and amenities

Perfect area. We loved the back yard and the house was very close to the beach. This home had everything we needed. My family enjoyed the stay and didn’t want to leave. Only had minimal issues. The house is pet friendly and had a urine smell downstairs but we left the windows open and it seem to clear it and the beds needed a little more support. Deer were walking right through the yard. It was pretty cool. The management was great to deal with very friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond. Over all a great home, I definitely recommend it.

Well stocked and spacious.

The home was quite nice and had everything we needed to make family meals each day. The home was spacious enough for each of us to spend our time comfortably. In fact, there were 7 in our group and we had room for more. The surrounding area was quiet and the beach was just a short walk away. The hot tub was a big hit and the grill worked well! The fire pit was perfect in the evening for our family to huddle around and roast marshmallows. There were plenty of outdoor seating available for use at the beach and in the patio area. Although there were some updates needed in the bathrooms specifically, it wasn’t a big deal for us. Each room had a tv but we had so many other things keeping us busy, we didn’t use them much. Inside the house was clean except for the occasional cobweb. Overall, our family had a great stay for a long weekend.

Good Location, Not Well Maintained, Surveillance Cameras

I booked this VRBO for a family retreat. My parents, My brother and his family and me and my family all stayed. The positives about this VRBO are location (amazing location!) and amenities like hot tub and fire pit. We didn't get to use the game area in the garage because we were so busy, but it looked fun. The sound system on the TV is AMAZING! The washer and dryer are top notch! The negatives: the property is not well maintained. The bikes were broken, the oven billowed black smoke when turned on, the grill runs super hot so we had to turn the burners on one side on low and cook on the other, You can't use the garbage disposal. The carpet needs cleaning. There are tiles missing in the bathroom and mold along the floor. The house has many rules and they are set forth as if they are for frat boys. We didn't have any problem with any of the rules, it's just that you can say things nicely and make people feel welcome. The owners of this home are not happy to have you there, they consider you lucky to be there and they fully expect you to screw up. That's the vibe. Finally, the cameras. It is pretty shocking to be sitting outside in the hot tub when the camera suddenly comes on. Make no mistake, you are being watched. I asked the property manager about it and she refused to directly answer my question if they took and have video and pictures of my family. I found it disturbing. Be aware. Location and amenities make the place. But there are real negatives.

The house was perfect for our family. Loved the gate at the top of the steps for our two toddlers. kitchen was well stocked, very quiet area, nice back yard. Beds were comfortable. Will look at coming back.

We appreciated how easy it was to check in and all of the clear communication about the property. The home was the perfect escape for us and extended family from out of town. It was close to town, and had a nice relaxing hot tub and fire pit in the back. The neighborhood felt quiet, even in the middle of summer.

Ten of us stayed here and we had a really great time. We drove a truck down to the beach with coolers, chairs, and beach games but the house was so close it was nice to walk back if we needed anything, or to take a break from the sun. The living room and kitchen were big and open and worked perfect for our group. The girls watched Happy Gilmore 2 from the couches while the boys watched from the back yard. The beach and landscapes are even better than expected! We will be back! Cheers!

Very cute home! Very cozy and has a lot of open space. The neighborhood is great for kids to bike around but getting to the beach is a little scetchy with kids. Busy road and no sidewalks. The house certainly needs a few updates like shower heads and the TV’s were a bit annoying to manage. Bunk beds need a couple more support beams underneath. Hot tub had green-ish water too but still enjoyable. Overall we had a great time and would come again!

Easy walk to the beach...Pelican Brewery and coffee!

Perfect size for the seven of us with very nice accommodations and the foosball table was a favorite with grandkids and grandpa :-).

Great place for our 2 families

We stayed here with our kids and friends with their kid plus 2 dogs. The place was a great size and location to the beach although we mostly drove vs. walking. It could definitely use some updates and there were some dings and dents throughout the house but with the price range, it made sense. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but the oven should be replaced soon. There were also a few things here and there like the can opener didn't work and the frying pans were flaking teflon. Overall it worked for us and met our needs and you do get what you pay for.

Beach Birthday Bash

This property was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday with a bunch of friends. The hot tub was great, bedrooms were roomy, and living room perfect for socializing. A easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Perfect location! Would for sure book again.

We had a wonderfult stay! We came down for a family birthday and the house was big enough to not feel cramped. The seating was great as many homes offer plenty of beds, but only one couch or a few chairs. Great location to walk for tacos, coffee, or to the beach to see the King Tides!

Labor Day getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The family room furniture seated us all and was very comfortable! The house was well equipped, though we had trouble finding scissors! Also there were no keys to bathrooms and we had a child lock themselves in so that took some figuring out! I would say get one bathroom key and put it on the door frame above the bathroom! Loved Our stay and hope to be back! Cindy
