Family vacation 2024

Tremendous property and Denise was very responsive and helpful. The Pickleball court was a huge hit as was the pool room, deck, and pond!! Loved the quiet location and could go in any direction fairly easily without battling the downtown traffic. Highly recommended. Would book again if in the area.

Great Vacation Location

We had a wonderful time. The house was very nice, spacious, well equipped and with ample privacy and parking. The view from the balconies was amazing. Conveniently located to major attractions and shopping. The property manager was very responsive to all requests.

Best Vacay in a while

This property was fantastic! Denise made the check in/check out process easy, even when I forgot a couple of details. The house was clean, comfortable, lots of spaces for family time and cozy enough for alone time too. The location was great! Close enough to all the activities we did - and we did a lot- but far enough away from all the congestion. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

The only option you should consider

This house was more than we anticipated. We went down for a friends trip and there was so much to do we barely left the property. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils to make meals, a beautiful screened in porch with a large table and fan to eat outside. The deck was large and had numerous places for everyone to sit and Visit, including 2 wonderful hot tubs. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the deck with chairs around it overlooking the beautiful property. The beds were all so comfortable, the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a rental property. The rooms were pristine, the bathrooms were stocked with towels, rags, and other amenities. One of the bathrooms even had a heated floor! As my title stated, this is the only option you should consider if you’re looking at similar properties. There are not enough words to say about what a wonderful place this is, pictures do not do it justice. A big “thank you” to the hosts for allowing us to stay.

Family Time

Grandparents, kids and grands had an exceptional time here over spring break. The house has so many activities for all that we could have stayed there the entire time...but we did go exploring in the area. Massage chairs, video games, hot tubs, pool table, fishing pond and relaxing on the deck were favorites of our group! We cooked, had family game nights, explored the national park, made pottery, blew glass and escaped from Alcatraz (escape room.) With all the hubbub of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, we were glad to have the serenity of this home.

Annual Family Girls Trip

We had another wonderful stay at this beautiful property! We take an Annual Girls Trip every year and this was our second year in a row at this fabulous house. We love the location, minutes from the Outlets but still feels like you’re secluded in the mountains. The outdoor space with a swing, MULTIPLE gliders and seating is the best we’ve ever had at any of the multiple properties we’ve stayed in over the years. HUGE sectional in the family room, enough that all12 of us could sit together to watch March Madness games. There is a private, gated entrance to enter the property, feels very secure. Love the wild turkeys that hang around the grounds. Just a fabulous stay!

Outstanding property

Have no worries about renting this beautiful property. We were a family of 9 ranging in age from 3 to 75. There is something for everyone. The property is less than a 5 minute ride to Dollywood. There is no need to get out in traffic just ride down a pretty country road. Other recreational and dining facilities are very close by. The house has everything you could want. Plenty of room to spread out for some down time as well as large spaces for the family to gather. The game room keeps young and old alike entertained. The deck, screened in porch, and pavilion by the pond are great for relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is equipped with every comfort of home should you care to cook in. Although we did not use it, a very state of the art Weber grill is on the deck for those who like to grill. It was very clean. And speaking of clean….this place was immaculate! Everything is clean as a whistle. Denise has great follow through throughout the rental experience; start to finish. The few questions we did have concerning the operation of some household items were answered promptly either by text or phone. The house is secure on rural property. We felt very safe. Enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent again. You will not be disappointed if you select this beautiful property.

private with lots of entertainment on site

We had toddlers, young adults and seniors. 11 people in total but more could have easily fit. All on massive property. 3 minutes to Dollywood and easy access to nearby tourist areas. Lots of space: The house sits on top of hill with 5 large bedrooms and huge west facing deck with a great view, covered screened in space with large table, hot tub space(2), pool table, seperate ping pong table, TV watching/living room space, fenced backyard for games. Stocked pond with screened-in enclosure with deck at bottom of hill. We ate family meals together each evening and voted as to who prepared the best meal. The kitchen actually has too many pots and pans and had to pick out the ones we needed and put the rest out of the way. More large family serving dishes(not plastic) would work better for hot food. We just used the extra pots to serve in when needed. We also used the Blackstone griddle on 3 occasions, my son has one, it was dirty and needed to be reseasoned. The birdsnest under the grill suggests it wasn't used for a while. This just turned into a learning experience for me as he cleaned, seasoned and then we did burgers, chinese inspired stir fry, and a delicious assortment of vegetables. Overall, one of the best 5 bedroom places we've stayed in. Rooms big enough to be all together but also enough other space to get away from them for some peace and quiet. Would recommend this place for those that need to stay busy with a variety of activities.

Amazing property, close to everything

My family and I had the best time here! We loved the pool table and hot tubs. We also fished quite a bit! We were not disappointed, as we pulled a bass pretty much every time we cast. We also visited Splash Country, which is only 2 miles away! So the drive was easy! The check-in and check-out process was the easiest by far of all our VRBO rentals, and we've been doing this for almost a decade. When we come back, this will be where we stay!

Our family had a great getaway together here! The house absolutely lived up to it's 5 star rating. It had everything we needed and more. The view from the patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and sunset views. We ate all our meals on the screen in patio. The hot tubs, sauna and games were great for entertainment and relaxation. The location was perfect as you felt like you were tycked away in the mountains but literally minutes from dowrown pigeon forge/gatlinburg and all they have to offer. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

Another great stay

This was our second trip here and the place is better than the last time we were here. Bathrooms all remodeled and looked and worked great. Great location for a family get together. Highly recommended.

Dollywood Heaven!

This property was a perfect place to stay for our Dollywood vacation with small children that needed naps. We easily moved to and from the park multiple times a day and the 8 minute drive to home base was perfect. Property owners were easy to communicate with and the property was comfortable and had all the amenities including WiFi, cable and internet TV, etc.

The property was a lot more than what we were expecting. Plenty of room for everyone and a lot of on sight entertainment. There are some great "easter egg" amenities that i wont spoil. I highly recommend booking this house.

We are the Smith's and big fans of the Smoky Mountain area! We have been vacationing in TN for over 30 years. In 2011 we purchased a cabin to rent out so we could provide guests the most of what we have enjoyed in vacation homes. We had great success in renting that cabin, however our family has grown so we sold that cabin and purchased a house to accommodate our growing family! It has enough room to sleep everyone under the same roof and enough room to spread out and give each other space! We have grown so much that we have purchased a second spot as well just down the road so let us know if you need more room for your family! We have another listing with VRBO for that property! We chose this property because of its seclusion but also because we enjoy this side of town. We like our privacy while relaxing on the deck and just being in nature! We enjoy watching for wildlife and listening to the music of the cicada's at night! Because of it's location we are just a few minutes to the hustle of the activities of all the area has to offer! Dollywood is close by to access communal pool activities for cooling off on a hot day! We love to also go there and walk around and enjoy the beautiful landscape and the food is fantastic! This is a neighborhood that is friendly as well. We love to hear the parrot noises coming from Parrot Mountain and the Dollywood train whistle and the sounds of fireworks in the summertime. We have another home in this neighborhood as well just down the road. Let us know if you need more space for your family or friends. It is on a separate listing on VRBO.

This is a home. It is not a cabin, which makes it feel like you are home and not on vacation! It sits on 26 acres of forest. There is a bear family that lives in our forest and wild turkeys, deer, raccoons and other wildlife that live on our property so please respect that this is their home as well. We have another property close by that share the same wildlife. Enjoy the animals as they walk to and from the pond and about to feed on the plant life. Please keep a safe distance.
