Splash Resorts on ihanteellinen perhelomailupaikka! Good trip

Condo was alright needs maintenance and TLC. Vacasa needs better communication when comes to issues. If the resort is in charge of maintenance and cleaning they need to back off the morning of checkout and not came out an hour before you are set to check out.

Splash resort pcb

The gulf view and size of the condo was great. The beds were comfortable. The amenities were awesome when they were available. All pools and splash areas close when there is lightening in the area which we were not advised of ahead of time. We specifically chose this resort for the amenities in case it stormed on our trip. The home is far from the pier and pier park. The master bathroom had no garbage can which is a necessity for a woman. There is no air conditioning in the elevators. The unit is owned or managed by Vrbo and does not come with any spices or beach chairs or beach accessories to use like most private owned condos or homes come with.

Nice family rental.

We stared here with 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The room is not over decorated so it was easy with a 1 year old and a 6 year old. Elevators were not the slowest we have had. Lots of waiting expected around check out time. Bar food and drinks were great. Easy walk to the beach. (Adding a ramp would be nice for people with bad knees) Overall great stay, loved the property and the water park. You can’t go wrong here with this hotel and room.

Spring break

It was ok place to stay and reflected the price, splash resort needs some upkeeping. Splash pad didn’t work, pools were cold and kids waterpark area was ice cold. Public Bathrooms could definitely use some work

Nice Condo, But No Cable TV as Other Reviewers Also Stated

The condo was very nice! Perfect for our family reunion. However, some in our group wanted to watch a football game on ABC in the evening. I had read that other reviewers stated that the TVs and remotes do not work. Vacasa checked for me and stated that yes there was cable and the TVs worked. We discovered, when we arrived, that several remotes did not work. Only one remote worked for the TV in the living room and the master bedroom (we had quite a laugh - our group had a good sense of humor). Those wanting to watch the game, left to view the program at a nearby establishment. Basically, the TVs offers various channels with older programming from 1990's and 2000's that are through an app. You can also stream through your Netflix and You Tube accounts. Overall, we had a blast and enjoyed all the amenities that Splash offered, so the TV was not so important. It was just this one football game on a major commercial broadcast television network, like ABC. The owners do need to update this information and inform Vacasa. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and unforgettable, cherished family memories!

We absolutely loved our stay here, we only had a couple minor complaints. The one elevator only seemed to work half the time and our condo didn't have enough silver ware and dishes for our group.

I specifically searched for a condo at The Splash Resort thinking it would be an incredible experience for the kids. It was a disappointment for many reasons but I will start with the Condo we stayed in. It was filthy, toenail clippings on the floor, dirty furnishings in the living room. One of the chairs was torn, no extra blankets for the pullout sofa, kitchen was not adequately stocked and there were roaches in the kitchen. Even if the room has been up to par, the resort is terrible. There is no handicap accessibility to the beach. The pool deck around the splash pad and other pools was covered in green slime and needed to be cleaned. It is impossible to enjoy the beach because the resort puts out three rows of beach service chairs covering the majority of the beach. Beach service is nice for some but most people traveling with kids need a place for their tent and all the things needed for small ones to enjoy the beach like, a cooler of snacks, and sand toys. When the resort puts out 5 times more beach service chairs that needed, valuable beach space is wasted. That gets me back to the beach access.. all those like me who rely on a wagon to get all their kids and kids things to the beach have no easy way to get the wagon down the only access which is steep stairs. What should have been a time to relax was ruined by our choice of condo. NEVER AGAIN!

Family friendly location

Splash is very family oriented property with nice pools and easy beach access. The condo has what you need and the beds are comfortable, even the bunk beds. The condo is not overly decorated or a place that you have to worry about you kiddos breaking something. The resort is getting to the points that some cosmetic updates will be needed but that is not expected for being built in 2006. The only complaint about the condo itself was that they need a new couch. Each room has a tv but no cable that we could discover but you are fine as long as you have streaming services you use.

Roaches

The view was absolutely great, when we first arrived the condo appeared clean and ready for our 4 day visit. The first day and everyday thereafter, we dealt with roaches. We informed the property manager through VaCasa since that is who the rental was through. She brought us up half a can of raid due to the fact that “maintenance couldn’t come in and that’s all she had.” Offered to move myself who is 8 months pregnant, my 16 month old, my fiancé, my mother, my sister, and my 3 year old nephew to another property, because she didn’t have another room available on the property, but yet had absolutely ZERO idea on where she would be moving us to, so we declined the move due to several different reasons and not having answers. We showed her all of the pictures of the roaches and she stated she would reach out via phone call that day and STILL has yet to do so, after sending me an email AFTER we’ve checked out. The next day when we went down to complain about the roaches with more pictures and the girl working the front desk stated that she doesn’t know why the manager didn’t move us to another condo when there were condos available. After paying $1400, dealing with sh*tty customer service, and not even received a quarter of what we paid back, I had to worry about bringing a roast infestation back home to my 16 month old and soon to be newborns belongings. This is absolutely unacceptable and do NOT recommend this condo, nor VaCasa.

Nice condo. Clean, easy check-in. Only issues we had were that you had to enter a bedroom to get to either bathroom. There was no general entrance door. Also lock on master sliding door to balcony was broken and the pullout bed in the living room was broken as well so we couldn’t use it.
