Kuva loma, joka todella vie sinut pois. Kaukana melusta, kaukana valoista ja puhtaan rauhallisuuteen, mitä luonto tarjoaa, ja runsaasti raitista ilmaa kiertämiseen. Adventure-lomavuokraus antaa sinulle rauhan tunteen heti kun vedät varjossa olevaan ajotielle. Ympäröimä korkeissa puissa ja vain yksityisen reitin päässä omasta pääsystäsi Pikku Calumet -joelle. Täällä olet vain muutaman minuutin päässä kansallispuistoista, osavaltion puistoista ja parhaimmista Michigan-järven rannoista. Olet varmasti yksi luonnon kanssa loman aikana.

Tämä hiljattain uusittu koti tarjoaa tilaa perheille kokoontua yhteen ja nauttia seikkailusta milloin tahansa vuoden ajan. Tämä yksilöllisesti suunniteltu koti on täydellinen pienille ryhmille ja täysin liikuntarajoitteisille ulottuvilla.

Nauti elokuvayöstä olohuoneessa suuren taulu-näytön yli tai paeta kanssasi virittääksesi viimeisellä kovakantisellasi. Näiden kahden välissä on kaunis puulämmitteinen takka. Aivan olohuoneen vieressä on iso king-makuuhuone, johon on liitetty jauhehuone ja sisäänrakennettu työpöytä hiljaista työtilaa varten, ilmaisella Wi-Fi: llä. . Denin läpi istuu kaksi muuta makuuhuonetta toisessa kuningatar toisen kanssa, kaksossa, jossa kaksoisvärä. Täysi kylpy tarjoaa yläpään lämpölampun ja irrotetun suihkukaapin sisäänrakennetulla penkillä. Liikkeessä sensuroitu valaistus on vain yksi kodin kautta löydettävistä ainutlaatuisista ominaisuuksista. Tämä tilava kylpyamme jakaa tilaa pesulalle, jossa on pinottu pesukone ja kuivausrumpu. Kylpyyn pääsee sekä denin että keittiön kautta.

Kaunis ruokasali erottaa keittiön olohuoneesta. Istu pöydän ympärille 6: lle, ja se sopii täydellisesti kotiruoan jakamiseen tai perheen suosikkipelin pelaamiseen peliyönä.

Muokattu keittiö on täysin varustettu kaikella, mitä leipuri tai kokki voi haaveilla kokkivaatteista erikoisominaisuuksiin, kuten kosketussensoroitu pesuallashana, liikesensuoriset valot ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet.

Takaovi menee ulos kauniille näkymälle metsän ympäröivälle kiinteistön alueelle. Paljon tilaa ulkopeleihin. Istu alas ja kuuntele loputonta soittolistaa villieläimistä. Kun linnut laulavat, näet varmasti paljon poroja laiduntamassa. Palo kuoppaan aivan terassilla rentoutua ja jakaa tarinoita tähdet. Tuo kajakki, kanootti tai kalastusnavasi ja patikoi yksityisellä polulla, jolla on sisäänrakennettu puinen jalkakäytävä, omaan paikkaasi siirtyäksesi Pikku Calumet -joelle, jonne seikkailu jatkuu, napata mukana toimitettu elämänrengas. Tuo tuore saalis lisäpuhdistusasemalle takaoven viereen.

Huomaa, että rankkasade voi aiheuttaa joen veden nousun rantatien ja reitin yli.

Nauti lähellä olevista Indiana Dunesin kansallispuistoista, Indiana State Parkista, retkeily- ja pyöräilyreiteistä ja monista rannoista niiden välissä.

Kaikki yhden tason kanssa liikuntarajoitteisille ja pyörätuolille pääsy ulkona. Huoneeseen mahtuu korkeintaan 6 henkilöä.

For people who are light sleepers, the freight train horn every 10 minutes throughout the weeknight made it difficult to fall asleep, even with the windows closed. Zipline works as advertised and has a proper stop mechanism. Water issues in earlier reviews have been solved. Free pass do the Dunes state park was a great touch and the place is very close in driving time to the state park. Even the washer and dryer showed the attention to detail that made this a great place to stay. Decor and furniture is completely pleasant and matches pictures in listing.

Modern, updated and serene with just a few caveats

Overall I was very pleased with my experience and would stay again. Pros: - Brand new kitchen and appliances, well equipped, that enabled me to forgo takeout and dining out during my stay - Great internet, which was super important for my remote work on Zoom and Teams calls - Master bedroom bed was new-is and super comfortable. I’ve stayed at many places in the past that overlook the importance of having high quality mattresses that are not worn out. Nobody slept in the other two bedrooms so I cannot comment on the quality of those beds - Separately controlled thermostats for the main house AC/heat and master bedroom. - Lots of independently controllable lighting in the main living room / dining room area - Long driveway at the end of a long dead-end road with plenty of property separating this house from neighbors, with lots of trees; very serene setting. - Cool, exposed brick interior in living room area gives the space a nice vibe - Enough basic supplies to last me a few weeks (paper towels, tp, dishwashing tabs, laundry tabs, hand soap, etc.) - Fairly short drive to downtown Chesterton, groceries, and the lakeshore. - House is equipped with a back up generator that runs on natural gas. This was a huge, unexpected bonus as a storm blew through one of the first nights and knocked out power for may hours. The generator kicked in almost instantaneously and at first I didn’t know what was going on because the power only went off for a few seconds. This was huge for me because I was working on a time sensitive project and would have been in trouble if I had been stuck in the dark with no internet. - Nice covered front porch with small table and chairs, making it easier to get in and out when raining and pleasant to sit out in, rain or shine. - Nice patio with table, chairs and an umbrella in the back that I didn’t use but would have like to! - Friendly neighbor who takes care of the yard was kind enough to introduce himself. Nice to know someone next door is keeping an eye on the place. Cons: - THE WATER STINKS. Literally smells like strong sulfur/ rotten eggs. It is well water and it is probably safe to drink and bathe, but not too pleasant. Fortunately, the fridge has built in filtered water with a new filter, which I used for everything - making coffee, cooking and rinsing in the bathroom. Showering in the water and it’s rather unpleasant - even for someone like me that does not have a strong sense of smell.

Great house for families with kids!

We were very happy with our stay here. The property is super close to the Indiana Dunes State Park which made getting around very easy and the State Park pass included with the property was a huge plus. The kids and adults all loved the zipline in the back yard with my 13 year old even saying it was the best part of the whole trip :-).

Great location for dune parks!

Located in a very quiet safe cul de sac. Great amenities including some very thoughtful surprises. Perfect day-exploring the area park and relaxing around a campfire at night. Inside and outside, the place is up to date and clean. Down sides were slight concern with the zip line and a little let down by the river access. Didn't kayak, but the dock does look good. May want to bring some extra towels, especially if you have girls in you pack with lots of hair. Be advised there is one shower and a separate tub, both part of the guest bathroom/laudry room. One toliet and sink in the master suite.

Fun wooded house with all the amenities

Family and I stayed here for a beach vacation. The house had so much going for it, multiple tvs, lots of board games, coloring books, puzzles, full kitchen and grill gear. Fire pit with wood and smores kits. The beds were comfy and the wooded neighborhood was quiet. The kids loved the property and zip line, parents also joined in. We loved the location(minutes from the beach and really good restaurants). The only negative was water had a light sulphur smell but the fridge had a built in filter so you couldnt taste it, and the fishing area(a few hundred feet back) was swampy and full of mosquitos so we fished elsewhere. But for a mainly beach and relaxing family vacation this is everything we could have wanted and more. We hope to stay here again.

Cozy and clean

We loved our stay and the property was perfect for what we wanted to do. The house was older but redone beautifully and was very well stocked for everything we needed. The appliances were clean and new. The kitchen was very user friendly and the outside grill was fantastic. There is a fire pit we used with ample supply of wood provided and there is a ZIP LINE... Really a ZIP LINE... Just so much fun... The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets and the house was set up with 2 TVS in living spaces and another in the master to go along with a nice set up with Comcast / XFinity Cable TV... The wifi was incredibly fast and reliable, I worked on Friday and the internet proved to be great. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Highly recommend... The only complaint is it's on a well and well water without a water system has a little bit of a sulfer like smell... We are "city folks" so septic and well water is something we are unfamiliar with...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll get the cons of our stay out of the way, as there are more pros:1.)The dishwasher was out of order. Therefore, I had to do breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes for 4 days for 6 people. Not how I would've like to have spent a lot of my time on vacation. We received no compensation for this inconvenience. 2.) There was a very large and mature LIVE cockroach on the bathroom wall in the middle of the day our second day there. However, no other bugs were spotted in the home the rest of our stay.Now for the PROS:1.) Our kids LOVED the zipline in the backyard.2.) The fishing on site was incredible, lots of bass and blue gill.3.) The general cleanliness of the house was good.4.) The decor was appealing. The bedding and furniture was comfortable.5.) There was convenient and above and beyond accommodations such as beach chairs, corn hole, smore kits,citronella candles,toilet paper, washer/dryer,extra blankets, and much more!6.) We were very close to the beaches, as well as grocery stores.7.) There was a great shower and tub with plenty of hot water.

Great getaway for any season!

Beautiful leaves and wildlife in the fall surrounding the property and gorgeous views in the winter with a cozy fireplace to warm up. The property is full of kid friendly activities like kayaking, a swing, fire pit, grill on the deck and a zipline to enjoy spring till late fall. Perfect, quiet location for couples or families! So happy we found this location, close to everything we love in Chesterton and Valparaiso.

Great location, beautiful views, zipline, swing, and kayaking on property and fully furnished with everything we needed for our stay, including a Christmas tree! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommended.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and spacious, with updates throughout. The location was great, close to the beach, and felt private. The zipline in the backyard was a neat surprise and the kids loved it! The only negatives I would say is that the house did have a musty smell to it. A dehumidifier would probably be beneficial. Also, some of the white towels were stained. It would be nice if some of the brush along the creek would be cleaned up, so that you could fish off the bank. My husband and son got their lines tangled up many times, making very fishing difficult. Overall, a nice stay though.

Great home away from home!!!

Really enjoyed our family stay at this home!!!! The house was beautiful and well thought out!!! Very clean. Has everything a house needs, well decorated! Loved the backyard and zip line! Seems to be centrally located close to everything like the beach! Very kid friendly!!! Beds were comfy! Suggestions- need clocks, mirrors, blinds, light over bathroom mirror.
