Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was fine. Definitely old, so dirt built up in corners and grouting, but not necessarily dirty. Nice to be able to walk easily around Waikiki. Pull out bed was comfortable and the kitchen had enough dishes and pans. Beach chairs and an umbrella were available. Parking garage was a tight squeeze. Not luxury, but good enough for our family of 4 for the three nights we were in Waikiki. Wouldn’t want to spend a whole week or more there. Condo owner was generally easy to work with. Also, it was a little damp, which is common in this area, so there was a damp smell, but not terrible.

Unbelievable View

We enjoyed our stay and was wowed by the amazing view! We were able to cook meals at the VRBO, which was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the host was responsive. We will definitely stay again!

Great stay in Waikiki

I recently stayed at a beautiful condo in Waikiki through VRBO and I had an amazing experience. The location of the condo was perfect - right in the heart of Waikiki and within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, and the beach. The condo was spacious and clean, with all of the amenities that I needed for my stay. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, with a stunning view of the ocean and Diamond Head. The owner was very responsive and made the booking process seamless. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Waikiki.

Great stay

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The condo comes equipped with everything you need. We appreciated that it came with beach chairs, towels and a boogie board. Byron was super helpful and made the check in process easy. We had to call him a couple times for questions and he answered right away. Note that the bed is actually 2 full size beds pushed together which was the only downfall since the listing stated it was a California king. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Best location with a fantastic view

The apartment on the 28th floor is in a great location at the end of Waikiki area. The beach section is the most beautiful there and you are still right in the middle of the action. The apartment is fully equipped with 4 beach chairs, umbrella, safe and all electrical appliances in the older kitchen. The balcony has a fantastic view of the city and mountains. On the right you can also see a piece of the Diamond Head. Very comfortable bed, door lock with numerical code, fast elevator, large pool, mini market in the building. Grill on the pool floor. Parking space included. We were happy and would come again.

December 2020 Stay

I stayed here for 2 months and really enjoyed it. It’s a nice apartment with a beautiful view and it’s in a perfect location for walking to beaches, food, and shopping in Waikiki. Customer service was great. The property manager was responsive whenever I had a request. There was loud plumbing taking place in the building and they had to shut the water off for a few days but that was the only issue and I was given a few extra days of stay without charge as compensation. I appreciated that!

I love having the general store in the building to get things that you need and also be able to rent beach items. The condo itself was very nice and the A/C definitely has lots of power to it! As mentioned in other reviews it is a little outdated and could use some updating - the bathroom and the kitchen sink but other than that, the property was great! Felt safe with security around as well.

Just as advertised!!

Property was as advertised! A little out dated BUT super clean! We stayed for 8 days and the only issue we had was with the AC and that was resolved within hours! I called it in the morning and by the time we returned, it was fixed! The location of the condo was convenient and is walking distance to the beach and places to grab a bite. There’s a washing machine and a dryer on the same floor that conveniently lets you download an app to pay and keep track of your load. Overall, the condo was comfortable, had good security and the pool was clean.

Waikiki Sunset one bedroom condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros of this rental:1. Location was great- eastern end of Waikiki. Close to the action, but a bit removed from the craziest part of the resort area. Very short walk to beach. Beaches nicer on this end of the strip and less crowded. 2. Unit was clean and generally nice. Had all the necessities. Kitchen was well-equipped. 3. Check in/out was easy and Captain Cook Resorts was responsive. 4. Pool and barbecue area were nice. Cons of this rental:1. The couch (advertised as a sleep sofa) was old and lumpy. We had planned to have 3 adults in this unit- 2 in the bedroom and 1 in the living area. The couch was not suitable for this purpose and needs to be replaced. We had to purchase an air mattress for the guest sleeping in the living area. 2. The water in the kitchen smelled bad. I did not notice this problem in the bathroom, only the kitchen.

You are paying for the beach and central AC

So this condo appears renovated but it’s poorly done and what you’re really paying for is the location. It’s about 2 blocks to the beach which is nice. The condo itself was liveable but it had some plaster falling off the wall in the bedroom, the kitchen sink backed up and the garbage disposal wasn’t working so we had to have someone come and fix that, mold painted over on the bedroom ceiling, cob webs with dust hanging from the popcorn ceiling, mold on the bathroom floor grout, a hole in the bedroom wall where an outlet used to be that is gone now just an open hole. It’s also incredibly loud the sirens from police and fire never stop even though you’re on the 28th floor you hear everything. Oh that’s another thing the walls are super thin, the living room couch is super uncomfortable to sit on and you feel like the springs are going to break. The entire condo/hotel is in bad shape and it needs to be renovated. They had to do an emergency water shut off one day from 08-12pm which turned the AC off also and another night at 10pm there was a fire alarm and we had to climb the stairs down. Pros: Beach and nightlife nearby Parking included Kitchen Central AC Cons: Condition of building and condo Noise
