I stayed at this place and have to say, that finding a large bug in the bathroom-cockroach - dish washer left dishes dirty , outlets in both bathrooms didn’t work no lamp shape on lamp in bedroom, the kitchen had all old and limited dishes and cookware. The windows on this place are dirty the pool area wasn’t clean. No tvs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Old windows blinds that didn’t work the 3 patio door blinds missing slats. No wall decorations. The dryer start button was broken off. When notified the property manager and told her about all the issues she claims to have not been aware of the issues. I explained that this place did I not meet our expectations as to other places we stayed

The house was nice.Communication was not great, when we arrived we were very disappointed that the dock was not usable. It was unsafe with boards missing, nails exploded rusted out metal. There was a screen in need of repair and a screen door busted. And completely rigged making it hard to open or close. I reached out and was told they were aware and hoped to have it all repaired soon. They said it just happened however there was no communication to us about any of it until I brought it up to make sure we were not blamed for the damage. It is not allowing me to load picture to review. The house inside was nice and clean.

Worst vacation Ive Even been in

From the first day the air was broken, the temperature was at 79, we contacted the manager but they never fixed the air when we first opened that we had to leave the property, the pool was dirty, the filter was broken and the ducts were broken, there were remains of chicken bones and food on the floor, the garbage was full and with worms, when we told the manager about the air problem her response was that we left it at 78 because it could freeze, she didn't care that We were hot, the owner never called us to help us and terrible service from the Manager.

Good Trip

The house matched online profile. It was nice being able to relax is the pool during the evening. Although we didn't cook during our stay , everything was provided. Beautiful location. We would definitely rent this again.

Definitely needs some work

Let me start off with the positives. The location and neighborhood could not have been better. Unfortunately, the house is in complete disrepair. We were allowed to do early check in by 1 hour and then the property manager came to inspect the property and asked us why we were there a hour early. The back dock had caution tape around it. The pool was disgusting and had paper towel in the filter and the skimmer basket was completely busted and wasn’t sucking up any of the debris on top. The pool guy was supposed to come out first day there and didn’t come out entire 3 night stay. The master shower was making a horrible sound every time you turned on the water. The property manager had the handy man come and he said to just turn the water on slowly. That did not work. The jet tub was also not working, so we didn’t get to use much of the master bathroom at all. The window in the kitchen has a gap and we had to put a towel there to stop the breeze. The kitchen outlet didn’t work and when I the handy man came he must have fixed it because it started working again. The tv in the master bedroom would not be good for someone that has seizures as it is constantly bouncing from dark to light like a strobe. The manager was responsive at first but then became unresponsive. She was saying people were coming that didn’t come when she said they would resulting in us being gone when the maintenance man came . He came 2 days after we were told he would come. The pool man never came.

Nice home with pretty nice furniture good neighborhood. Pretty well equipped. Should point out that the owner lives in South America and has not been on the property for years. The manager seem good. There are things that could be done to make it a little nicer: mats for lounge chairs on the patio, dishwasher looks on it's last legs stove burner controls are mostly rubbed off, not enough lamps, patio sliding doors hard to operate. No access to brooms or sweepers. The Lake and pool were nice.C

Great view/pool but that’s it

Pros: Great view/pool Cons: -Lacking basic essentials like oven mitt, dustpan/broom, dishwasher sponge, shampoo/conditioner/body wash -The floors left our feet dirty and black -The pillows are very thin and uncomfortable - so bring your own -Wifi and Tv didn’t work and didn’t get fixed until the middle of our second day -The screen door leading to the dock was broken and wouldn’t open or shut properly -The dock was poorly maintained so you can’t stand on it and really enjoy the scenery This property has a lot of potential to be great, but it’s very outdated and not very well maintained. Spend the extra $100 a night a stay somewhere nicer.

Disappointing

Our stay started out by me requesting an early check in. Not only was this declined I was later informed the house would not be ready at my scheduled check in and was going to be at least an hour late. After we did finally check in the house was very hot. The A/C was set on 78. I turned the A/C down only to find out it was not working correctly and never was able to get the house below 75 during our 3 night stay. The house was obviously a rental for income and not very well taken care of. Things were worn down throughout. For example the stove had tape with photos of which knob worked which burner. The master show did not drain very well, the pool was dirty and it seemed as if there was minimal water filtration. I would not recommend this property if your expectations are something nice.

Bad experience overall

I walked into the property and it was 80 degrees duringa florida hwat wave .i checked in at 4pm. The property was missing light bulbs, batteries in smoke detectors. I reached out to management and all they carrd about waa the missing light bulbs . I spoke extensively with the management.. ultimantkey i was told to chalk it up to commnication issues..dont rent this place..its really nuce place but nit really maintained and if you complain they dint care at all

Almost perfect!

Nice sized house with a beautiful view, right on the lake. Very quiet neighborhood. The pool was wonderful. The only issue (and it's probably only an issue for me because I cook often) is that the kitchen could use a baking dish and/or a cookie sheet or two. All communication with hosts before and during the stay was excellent. Would stay again.

Dirty, messy, many repairs and replacements needed

Dining room chair cushion stuffing falling out all over 3 out of 5 dining room light bulbs missing LR desk chair very dangerous, casters keep falling out Shower drain filled with hairs, shower stall falling apart Master bedroom privacy shades falling apart, no privacy The crossbar piece missing from the bathtub towel bar Bugs all over the cupboards, the stove, the dishes, & TV room AFTER his pest control 'took care of the problem' Kitchen drawer pulls and cupboard pulls very filthy Toaster and dish drainer were grimy, rusty, and unusable Silverware, spatulas, utensils, covered with very old food Oven mitts and knife holder/block too dirty to use Utility closet for cleaning tools/supplies missing its door 2nd bedroom window screen broken, window unusable No light switch for 2nd bedroom overhead light 2nd bathroom window handle broken, window unusable Three of the doors leading to the pool are jammed shut More problems available on request

Great Time and Super Location

We arrived and found the property clean and inviting. We could not find the fishing rods to fish because they were destroyed by previous renters, but one quick call and that was quickly resolved and we were trying our luck with NEW fishing rods! We did catch some fish and enjoyed our stay. It was nice just relaxing by the pool. The location was awesome as it was close to many restaurants and grocery store. Driving around and seeing the remainder of hurricane Ian, it is understandable that many houses in the neighborhood and the greater city were being worked on, but there were no inconveniences or noise issues. Response for the fishing rods (the only thing we called on) was easy, quick and friendly. We are already making plans fo another visit!

Great place, great location

This was an overall great experience for our family. The property was as advertised, with no issues whatsoever. Location was near everything. Check in was a snap. We had awesome communications with the property manager and owner as well. Had an issue with the pool not heating, and the manager was there immediately to get it running. He also checked back with us to make sure everything was OK. We had decent fishing from the dock. Caught some Jack, snapper, catfish, puffer, and had Shark action every night!! The key to the dock fishing is not to stand on the dock - cast from the seawall so you don't spook them. The Shark loved a frozen mullet casted out as far as you can. We'd go back there again!

As advertised, centrally located

Overall, a great property and better location. House is plenty big and room to spare. Pool is nice, albeit a bit small for our liking, but definitely did the job. The view of the lake is also very nice and relaxing. Suggestions would be to add seating to the pool area as the table only seats 4. Also add some adirondack chairs to the dock area to enjoy the lake. The house could use a true "deep" cleaning, especially in the kitchen. Three beds, two baths, pool home on the gulf access, Thunderbird 8- lakes area in SW Cape Coral. Tastefully decorated with all amenities to make your vacation a memorable one. Amazing views for fishing Red Snapper, drum gish, and snook. Take your boat for a ride to Gulf, enjoy a dip in the newly resurfaced pool, or get a good night's sleep on the comfortable mattresses and high-quality linen. A 10-minute bike ride to the Westin resort, with many shops and restaurants. Newly renovated in April 2019. Amazing views, best location in Cape Coral. Quiet street for a good night's rest. Beautiful paved pool deck with amazing pool overlooking incredible views of Thunderbird lake. I lived in this home for five years and can say this area of Cape Coral is quiet, friendly, and full of life. Many parks are close to walking in the morning or evening. I renovated the bathrooms, painted, and laid new tiles for the enjoyment of my guests. The pool deck has comfortable tables and chairs for breakfast and lounges to get sun in the afternoon. A new Air conditioning unit was installed in September of last year to keep things cool. A jacuzzi bath for your relaxation in the master bedroom bathroom.
