Room for everyone

This home was perfect for our family of 12. Bonus that it was also dog-friendly so we didn’t have to leave our pets behind. Close to all Orlando has to offer, but plenty of free entertainment in the home & at the resort, too. We would choose this property again for sure.

Amazing stay!

This house was perfect for hosting a week-long holiday stay for 13 people. It’s incredibly spacious and has something to keep everyone entertained. We especially loved the pool table, air hockey table, and the heated pool for when we were hanging out at the house. It’s also a short drive to all of the parks and close to a ton of restaurants. Highly recommend!

Hot Tub is a No Go

Our stay in the home was very nice but be aware that the Hot Tub is not hot and is not an amenity. It was an amenity I looked for at booking but did not realize it was unavailable.

Overall the home was very nice. Beds were very comfy, which is very important to all of us. People should know that not all tv’s have cable, in order to watch you can use Netflix or hula. Also there should be more parking for a nine bedroom house. It also took 3 days to get management to come out to the house to address a few things. The house was beautiful, and we had a great time. There were 14 of us and plenty of room.

Garbage

The house is nice and we have all facilities, but we have 2 issues. Access code is not working when we arrived and it was changed again after 3 days. We found trash not packed in the garbage bin outside the house.

Nice House But Some Issues

The house was overall in nice shape. The Star Wars themed rooms were really enjoyable. The media projector was a really nice addition. That being said there were some issues. The microwave stopped working in the middle of our two week stay and I notified Vacasa; however, I did not get a response. Also the garbage disposal was blocked and the living room TV would freeze randomly while using apps. Be aware that heating for the pool and hot tub is only available between October and May. We were disappointed upon arrival that this was not available. To be fair, it is reported upfront by Vacasa and I missed it.

Family getaway

We had 17 people total with us. The house was beautiful. My only complaints were: trying to get into the gate the code provided wasn’t correct. I tried to call who we booked through and they kept telling me it was the right code when we spoke to security they gave us the correct one. There is no grill like shown in the photos ( not a huge deal but would be convenient for such a large group! If you go in cold weather you would have to buy the pool heating because it was like ice cold and the hot tub is not automatically heated! ( just wasn’t aware in order to have a heated hot tub you have to buy the heated pool for the week). Plenty of room for the entire family in the house with two bedrooms extra! The upstairs projector tv lagged pretty bad so we couldn’t watch anything without it buffering. And the last thing was the washer stopped working several times( I also called the company to get further instructions) we ended up figuring it out. The house itself is beautiful, the location is good as well! Just some minor issues!

Love the property. We always stay at Windsor by westside. But we did have a few issues at this home. we paid for our pool to be heated it never got warm. I notified Vacasa multiple times after the 5th day I requested my money back. They said someone came out and verified it was turned on but apparently it wasn’t working right m. I was told it would take 24 hours to warm up and day 5 it was still the same as day 1.. waiting to get my money back. One of the king beds didnt have a box spring my daughter and her husband said they could feel all the boards when they slept. The grill and the arcade game was not apart of the amenities. Wasn’t impressed with that. Why have them at the home if your renters can’t use them….

Great infrastructure— malfeasant manager support

The home was spotless, rooms and bathrooms were more than sufficient to supported our group of 15 ( could easily have handled 17) which included five young grandchildren. The TVs were great. The kitchen space and utilities were great, as well as the dining room table and side tables. The security screen for the pool was excellent. In short, this house (1675 Lima) has everything it takes for a tremendous vacation spot…including the common area pool 6 blocks down the street with its lazy river. BTW Local management said they have not yet developed s “house book” that explains how all the various items work, describes, local, restaurants, etc. etc.. apparently one is in the works. Now here is the problem: what was missing was an adequate local support team motivated ( or simply adequately staffed?) to make repairs and replacements – – such as the broken pool table, missing game parts ( the parts were provided on day 2 after the general manager, located somewhere on the West Coast, I was able to contact “local” management.) with additional towels and some other incidentals - thank you Amber) broken electronic game, and and worst of all my five grandchildren who travelled from the east and west coasts were only able to swim in the pool one day (we rented for 8 days) as the rest the time the water wasmuch too cold. We had paid $30/ day for heating, at least a month before arrival, and made numerous calls to assure that the water would be warm – I finally learned around day 4 of our vacation that: heat was not turned on until the day before arrival AND when the temperature is cold outside the water heater is set to NOT operate at all! Had I known this I would have searched for a property managed by a different company. We had record cold weather in Florida. I was told “don’t worry we will give you your money back” …that didn’t help my grandchildren ages 3 through 12. This was a Money problem (the extra cost of heating the pool when the weather ) not a Weather problem, it was also a money problem that prevented fixing the broken pool table, the broken electronic game, 4 of the bed side lamps and getting a replacement remote control for the large screen projector ( tip: use the buttons on the ceiling projector). bottom line: my wife and I rented one extra day so that we could be in the property 24 hours before our guests arrived. In doing so we acted like a property manager, giving the site a final inspection. This made a huge difference in our guests enjoyment. Also, it gave us the opportunity to purchase basic groceries and paper products… and to find a great Italian restaurant (Bruno’s) that is not on the “tourist map” and only 10 minutes away. We had a good time , but we had to work much too hard.

Great Family Reunion

This was our first extended family get together. This place was large enough for our family with lots to do. The pool was great for the kids. The game area in the garage was cool, literally it was air conditioned. Lots of fun was had with the pool table and big movie screen. The community lazy river pool, volleyball and basketball courts were an added bonus. Highly recommend this home.

Great place for family vacation

Great space for our family of 4 couples and their children to spend the week together. Good communal spaces while large enough for there to be a sense of privacy for all! The pool was awesome, the neighborhood was very quiet the week we stayed & the house was well maintained & clean. We would stay here again!

Devil is in the Details

Pros: ▪︎ Pretty close to the community pool. ▪︎ Big spaces to gather in the house. ▪︎ The house pool was nice. ▪︎ Pool table was excellent very level with 5 pool cues in excellent condition. ▪︎ The house was pretty clean. Some of the lamps did have cobwebs. Cons: ▪︎ The AC was set to 76 when we go there and took a whole day to get to 72. ▪︎ Many of the rooms did not cool down below 80 degrees in the 4 days. ▪︎ The arcade game in the garage had to be turned off and back on every time you wanted to try a new game. ▪︎ The air hockey table wasn't level. ▪︎ The Xbox had one functioning controller with no back plate to stop batteries from falling out. The 2nd controller didn't connect. ▪︎ The PS4 didn't have a functioning controller at all. So it was useless. ▪︎ The upstairs projector didn't have its remote. So we couldn't watch movies. ▪︎ 2 can openers but neither worked. ▪︎ The check-in instructions say go to the clubhouse. The club house staff acted like I was insane for asking to check in. ▪︎ The cleaning staff was there until 4:10. We showed up 10 minutes early hoping they would be gone and we can get in a little early. ▪︎ Internet is terrible, lucky to get 2MB/sec on any device. ▪︎ Bath towels were soft but were decorative they left lint all over everyone and were terrible at drying anything off. ▪︎ 1 roll of paper towels for a 9 bedroom house for 4 days. ▪︎ The pool safety gate was not anchored on either end and there was one post missing in the middle. The 4 year old pulled them out with little trouble. ▪︎ The pool did get cloudy after 1 day of use. Not sure if it was us ▪︎ The refrigerator needed a new water filter from when we got there. ▪︎ There were kids cups and plates but they look beat up. When you advertise these things you expect to be able to take full advantage of them with confidence they will work and you will have a very enjoyable time. When many of the bonus features that led you to pick the house don't function, it is really frustrating. We had lots of kids and not having video games and arcades working it was annoying.
