Green Valley Community Park is .1 mile away and provides access to the South Fork of the New River for canoeing, tubing, and fishing. There is also a public playground, a picnic shelter, and hiking trails. The town of Boone is 20 minutes away, with local attractions such as Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park (20-minute drive), Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park (30-minute drive), High Gravity Adventures Zip Line and Aerial Park (30-minute drive), and Appalachian Ski Mountain (35-minute drive) to name a few.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains right from the covered porch of Fir River Cabin. There is a porch swing and rocking chairs for relaxing, and an outdoor dining table. The hot tub is right beside the home, along with a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, perfect for a family marshmallow roast.
This cabin boasts rustic one-level living and an open-concept main area with exposed wooden beams, cozy tongue-and-groove details, and a stone decorative fireplace. The comfy seating area has leather furniture and a large flat-screen TV, and the kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dining table for 6.
