Orange Beach is a family-friendly beachfront town. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

Filled our needs

Property was decent. Showing its age. Furniture in our condo was dated but functional. If we came again, we would look for something newer. Very easy access to beach.

EXCELLENT CONDO

We couldn't have been more happy with this condo. The view was fantastic, Plenty of space with large rooms and great layout, Beach theme decor, close to shopping and places to eat. It had a full kitchen, dinning nook, washer and dryer, and large living and bedroom. We will definitely stay here again. The gulf is right there, indoor and outdoor pools with hot tub and a great water feature area for kids. It made the stay perfect : )

The condo is in a good location with restaurants nearby. Right on the beach with a balcony. It could use some updating though. The living room furniture was old, worn, and stained in some spots. I didn’t even sit on it because wasn’t sure how clean it actually was. The countertop in the bathroom was very low making it difficult/uncomfortable for someone tall (I’m only 5’1” and it was actually too low for me. Was entirely too low for my 6’1” husband.) The parking pass costs 55 (that amount was not given in the listing details but was discovered after check out). The kitchen/dining area was decent.

Best place to stay!!

The condo was perfect for our family! Everything was perfect! Easy check in, easy check out! everything was clean, the views from the huge balcony was fantastic & the resort itself was perfect for our toddler! Communication was excellent and all my questions were answered by the host prior to our stay! We will definitely being staying here every year!

Nice location. The tub & bathroom sink were clogged the entire time. Also mugs in the cabinet were obviously dirty & the extra blanket in the closet had hair all over it.

Overall, we had a great time. Bathtub was not clean, and some dishes and silverware were dirty. Don’t know if there is an issue with the dishwasher or not. Bathtub must have gotten overlooked. Everything else was great.

It was a great place to stay. Don’t use the door on table side to go out to balcony. Track is worn out and gets stuck. Bed needs updated. Otherwise. Beautiful location, view, lots of to do. Property management as far as maintenance was fantastic. Whoever manned the desk was not helpful when we asked for referral to dolphin cruise. Not even a little. Said she had never been on one so she couldn’t Help.

Overall great views and easy access to beach and restaurants. Did have some minor suggestions and items needing attention which I gave to property manager. For children it is a perfect condo complex--plenty of water sports to do. You must however bring your own toiletry items, extra dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent as well as spices if you use them. Parking fees are a one-time payment of 50 dollars for outside and 80 dollars for underground parking.

Very Nice Stay

This was our first time staying at this property. The property was very clean & parking was not an issue. However, the parking pass is an additional $55, which is specific for this property. The condo was clean and well kept. Some additional dishes could be added to the kitchen such as pans for the oven & maybe some plastic cups for children to use. Great view from the balcony! The condo is slightly small for 2 adult and 2 children, but overall was very nice, clean & quiet. My kids loved the outdoor & indoor pool & splash pad. Also, Kona Ice setup during the week days, which we loved. The boardwalk to the beach is nice because it does not burn your feet when walking without shoes & the distance from the boardwalk to the beach is not long at all. Check-in is a smooth process, however, all condos have a 3pm check-in, so the lobby area becomes crowded quickly. Even with 4 elevators at this property, you do have to wait for a while to get your belongings to your room, or even get to your room, around this time.

Phoenix Properties are Great

The good thing about Phoenix properties is that they're in a great location with good staff and amazing views of the ocean and beach. The questionable side is who the actual condo owners are and how they rent out their condos. Some are great and very personable who decorate their place with nice and comfortable furniture while ensuring it is well supplied. Thhis describes all our previous condos which were booked this year. Other condos are maintained by a professional staff or company that is removed from the customer experience, uses economical and often uncomfortable furniture, and supplies it with the bare minimum. This one was the latter. While the location was great and we spent most of our time on the beach, the time spent in the room left a lot to be desired. The bed, couch, chairs, and patio furniture were moderately clean and less than comfortable. The room experience was not bad, but it was not great. Next time we will choose another owner.

Subpar accommodations with a great view

The complex needs a desperate face lift. Upon entry the floor tiles are duct taped around the entire lobby. Yes I said duct taped! . The front desk evening male receptionist was snide and rude. Hardly looked up from his phone to greet us. Rented from a third party rental company Beach Getaways (which I also would not recommend) so the staff on site could not help us with anything not even with extra towels. The hallways and doors to the condos and main areas are in desperate need of a coat of paint. Lobby Decor is 1990’s with updated furniture to mask the age. Parking was convenient but you do have to pay an additional $55 for the parking pass. Ice on site but it’s an extra charge as well. No restaurant or anywhere to buy drinks or snacks other than vending. Pool was decent although a little too warm. Condo was clean with dated furniture. Fridge needs an upgrade rather than replace the handles were painted. Sheets were cheap and had mildew stains on them for the pull out couch. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang used towels to dry. I called for additional towels on our second day. Waited and never received. I called and emailed everyday still no towels. Each time I called the male receptionist in housekeeping would act surprised that they had not been delivered and tell me he was on it. On our last day and 7 phone calls and 4 emails later the male customer service rep from Beach Getaways let me know that they normally do not deliver extra towels and we were expected to wash them daily. Not sure why he didn’t relay that info on my first phone call request. Washer and dryer works great which was good since I had to wash our four towels everyday. For what we paid a night this was an absolute joke. I would not recommend this unit or Beach Getaway rental properties and definitely would not stay at Phoenix V again. Two stars because the beach access was convenient and easy and the room had a great view.

Horrible smelled like a nasty old man had wallerd on it for weeks

The laundry door fell off the track snd hit my partner bruised up her arm. I tooked a picture. Try calling maintenance for hours to no availe. I've never stayed in a condo in all my vacations as nasty as this one..

Condo with a VIEW

The condo was nice. The view was spectacular! You could leave the patio door open and hear the surf all day & night. Instructions were clear. Condo was clean. The elevators could be a major headache. One of the four was not working when we departed which caused a lot of delays. The pool was nice. The parking is NOT included in the fees/total you pay and it is NOT addressed until after you have paid. There are NO CHAIRS or UMBRELLAS without another fee and you don't know that until you get there. It is NOT addressed in listing. We had a great beach experience overall.
