Suzanne's Cottage By The Sea is located on Oak Island, the ideal place for your next family vacation! This oceanfront house is steps away from the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean. A dazzling open floor plan and vaulted ceilings lead you to appreciate the beautiful vistas of the dunes and sea from the moment you walk in the front door. The open living, dining & kitchen areas offer a new coastal vibe that's ideal for relaxing and entertaining. You will find 4 appealing sized bedrooms and 2 full baths off the main living area all on one level. This home has been charmingly refreshed with modern coastal decor'. The kitchen is well supplied and offers a Keurig and a coffee pot.

Start your day in the oceanfront sunroom or sundeck taking in the magnificent vistas of the ocean, beach, and gorgeous sunrises! There's a generous size oceanfront sundeck space with steps leading down to the beach!

After putting the kids to bed, relax and enjoy a quiet evening taking in the beautiful sunsets from the sunroom or sundeck.

Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals from May -October

Publix and Dollar General are less than a mile, and Food Lion is 1.3 miles from our house. After your day on the beach you can enjoy many great restaurants nearby on Oak Island, and within a short driving distance, (15 minute drive), to Southport Marina.

Great place to stay on Oak Island!

Perfect layout for our family - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, all one level, a very nice and large back deck, plenty of seating inside and out, easy and immediate beach access, and prompt and helpful support from owners. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Fantastic Home!

We absolutely loved staying here! We had 6 adults and 2 kids, the house was the perfect size for our group! The house layout was great and we loved the decor and lighting fixtures! The house is in a great location - oceanfront and minutes from the main area of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. We loved all the seating both indoors and on the porch. We hope to be back to stay in this same home in the future!

Beautiful Cottage Right on the Beach.

This is a beautifully maintained and decorated cottage right on the beach, with just a dune between you and the ocean. Great communication with the host, and very enjoyable stay.

Very nice cottage and location

The cottage was lovely, I enjoyed being right next door to the beach access. The other amenities we needed like a grocery store were also very close by. The cottage was well equipped and the hosts were easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will be back

Greta beach front getaway

Great place, as advertised. Had a few things we needed help with and the property owner was so responsive and helpful! The beach is a little crowded since the public access is right next to it, but such a great spot on the island close to the grocery, stores, etc. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our family of six

We needed an oceanfront property to accommodate our four kids that are four and under. The ease of getting to the beach couldn’t have been better. The owners were very responsive and the property was super cozy and inviting.

Best Place to stay

The cottage was perfect. Great views, great access to the beach. We did have a water leak in one of the bedrooms from the AC Unit in the attic. The owners were very quick to contact someone and get it repaired. Would definitely stay there again

Comfortable and accommodating.

The cottage was small but very well laid out so that our group which numbered 8 felt very comfortable. The location was excellent with easy beach access and a nice view of the ocean from the back deck..What few minor problems we had were quickly and graciously handled by our hosts.We would enjoy staying there again.problems we had were

A Piece of Heaven

We had the time of our lives at this Oceanfront Cottage! Lovely place with Ideal location, Mobi beside house to walk to Beach, Gorgeous Deck with beautiful View! So thankful for a week of gorgeous weather and perfect water temperatures. We only wished we could have stayed another week! A week full of great memories in Suzanne's Cottage on Oak Island. Owner Rick was very responsive to our requests. :)

Oak Island Charmer!

Suzanne's Cottage was the perfect place for my family to spend a week in Oak Island. The location can't be beat (right on the water, easy beach access), and the cottage itself is lovely and charming. The owners have put a lot of work into the place, and it shows. It was very clean, well-decorated and well-supplied with amenities. It was also great to deal directly with the owners. Any questions or needs that I had were answered very promptly leaving me with a worry free vacation. I'd fully recommend Suzanne's Cottage and hope to stay there again during any future visits to Oak Island!

We began our short term rental venture in March 2019, with our historic row house, Matt's Place In The Strip, located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, PA. We are Super Hosts with Airbnb, and Preferred Partners with VRBO. We take pride in providing a first class living experience for our guests.
