The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 8.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

To how it may concern,We are disappointed in the room you rented us at Ocean Park Resort. First off we didn’t have hot water the first day we were there. The second and worst thing is that the room had cockroaches in it. We have had more than tens roaches in this room in two days. This is unacceptable to say the least. The resort was notified of both situations and just merely said sorry. Like it was just a normal thing. This type of thing should not happen and it’s put a big damper on our vacation that we worked hard to achieve. Just disappointed to say the least.

The room felt a bit small and the bathroom was tiny. The tub and peep hole were too tall, but it was clean and comfortable and we loved that it was pet friendly. There's no counter space in the kitchen, but it was nicely appointed to be able to cook meals in the room. It's also awesome that FURology is down on the first floor for your doggy daycare and spa needs. The view from the room and the balcony are amazing and there are multiple pools and hot tubs on the property. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Pet Owners Beware!!

A couple hours after checking in, our room’s fire alarm went off shortly before we were leaving to go out. The girl at front desk came and changed battery. It stopped, but shortly started back. She called someone from maintenance; we waited in lobby with our dog, who was extremely shaken. (The fire alarm sound was EXTREMELY LOUD and CONTINUOUS, not a chirping like when a battery needs replacing.) After it was ‘fixed’ we were assured it wouldn’t happen again. So we stayed, however our plans were wrecked because it was too late and there was no way we would have left our shaking dog in the room alone. We picked up a nice dinner at nearby Logan’s and started eating it in the room and then the ALARM WENT OFF AGAIN!! What a waste of a nice meal! For the third time our alarm was ‘fixed’- this time changed out completely and rewired. If it had not been so late by this point, and after our drive there , we would not have stayed. Our alarm did not go off again, but our first night (which was half our trip, was ruined). The day we were leaving, the fire alarm two doors down woke us up between 7-7:30 going off, which leads us to suspect that many other rooms will also be sounding the alarm in the days ahead (We were told they had all just been changed to new ones) We are very concerned that someone else’s experience might be even worse than ours. If a helpless dog is in the room alone and it goes off, well that would be TORTURE. The dog would probably never be the same again. Praise the Lord ours went off BEFORE we left (because it was close.) (The manager did refund our pet fee and gave us till 12:00 to checkout.)

First time staying here

The best part was we got to take our dog and was never made to feel uncomfortable for having him there. But as far as the rooms and all that goes it was okay at best. Definitely needs some professional upgrades and work done on the rooms (at least room 810 anyways). The pools was not the cleanest either. Front desk workers all but one exception ((he had a pony tail and some facial hair was SUPER friendly and helpful)) seemed kind of irritated when you asked questions or come back to bring dirty towels to exchange for fresh ones. You don’t have housekeeping so when you need 🧻 or fresh towels or garbage bags you have to go to front desk to get em. If you give em 3 towels and 2 hand towels that’s exactly what they’ll give you back. So our family of 4 showered everyday so we had to exchange everyday. Kind of inconvenient being on the 8th floor. If I go back to Myrtle beach I will look for different pet friendly hotels and would only go back here if we had no luck at other hotels. I’d give it 4/10 or ⭐️⭐️

Great privare balcony

Clean. Old but updated and clean. Right on the ocean & even though small dogs are allowed we couldn’t hear them once inside our room.

Decent place for price

We stayed with a party of 4, upon getting to the room we had 3 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people. We had to go downstairs to the desk to get enough for all of us to use. The next day the cleaning crew were on our floor but refused to switch out our dirty towels and wash cloths we again had to take them to the front which with 2 kids gets overwhelming. Every day of our stay atleast 1 of the elevators broke and we were on the 8th floor, which resulted in waiting for atleast 25-30 mins every time you needed to go down or up to your room, again with a 4 year old this was very trying to get her to sit still and wait. The views were great from the balcony but having no carpet in the room and coming in and out from the beach makes for sand all over the floor and the room is not cleaned during the stay like it is in a regular hotel. Overall it was a decent place to stay but definitely could use some improvements to make family stays more pleasurable.

Budget Pet Hotel-No Breakfast

The hotel is pretty much as advertised low budget Pet Motel there were lots of barking dogs Hotel itself is very old upside they keep it extremely clean and the staff are wonderful also great you're right on the beach even though the view is a little bit distorted by the design of the building other than that I am going to avoid any hotel that accepts pets and when I travel with my dog I will be staying at an individual booking since the barking dogs are a bit distracting and impose on any quiet Serene time

I really came to enjoy myself only booked one night went to dinner & the bed kidnapped me until the next morning but I was able to check out with a breeze from my phone and went and enjoyed the attractions before I hit the highway back home

Good stay, well clean and nice staff

Confused by check in emails, first I got email say: I will get all the info, pass code... to get in the room on the morning of the day I arrive, but none of the info needed in that email. So worry, then I called the agent and find out: I will get the key at the Hotel front desk?! The room was well clean, but the shower water keep changing from hot to cold repeatedly, with no one flushing the toilet. Only two Washing machines, but one broken. (I losted my quarter and remember to bring your quarters, because in MB they're all short in coins right now)
