Private home with huge patio overhanging Orange Lake. Private dock with kayak, two large stand up paddle boards, toys, water, sun, fishing poles, hot tub and peace & quiet. Come wintertime, the lake turns into a winter wonderland for ice skating, ice fishing and iceboat racing. Bring your slippers and hot chocolate!
This home is new construction in 2020, high ceilings and spacious rooms surrounded by lake views. House features a outdoor pergola covered lounge area with flagstone patio, while the other side offers a shady grassy area for a perfect afternoon nap in the hammock. One hour from Manhattan... yes, for real!
Orange Lake is a private lake and does not allow outside boats. It is pet friendly and relaxed neighborhood. The lake is quiet and never busy with boats. It is busy with paddle boards, children and laughter in the air. Enjoy a sunset walk around the circle, or paddle board across the lake for a cocktail at the famous Lakeview House. I always feel like I'm on vacation in this home.

Beautiful lake home, exactly as described. Worked out very well for our family as we were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from West Point. About a 30 minute drive away.

Fabulous lake front stay

Such a perfect location for a mini vacation as we visited family in the area. This home was so comfortable, clean, functional, beautifully decorated and gave us a luxurious break while visiting family and friends in the area. Our host was super responsive and accommodating and we look forward to returning many times now that we’ve discovered Orange Lake.

West Point Ring Weekend

This was a fantastic rental!! We were right on the lake and had fun using the paddle boards and kayak. Close enough to West Point for our events and great relaxing vibe!

Amazing Lake House

4 adults and 1 child had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous lake house. So many activities on and off the water. Comfy bedrooms and communal space. We loved to use the firepit, hot tub and grill!

Beautiful Convenient property

This property is amazing and in a great location for anything in the Hudson Valley. We were there for a West Point Graduation, and it was an amazing place for our needs. Very clean, very comfortable! Would highly recommend.

Perfect!

This property was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for Christmas. It is practically brand new and spotless appointed with all you need for a weekend away. The beds were comfortable and the towels and linens are of great quality. Bonus is it is right on the lake with a peaceful view. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors!

Perfect!

The place was as you see in the picture, beautiful. It doesn't disappoint and is right on the lake. The house was clean and the location was perfect. Communication with the host was easy and she responded quickly. It was very easy to drive from the City and lots to do in the area. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back next fall!

Can't be better

A beautiful home on Orange Lake. More than advertised. Great hot tub. Bedroom has amazing views. Bathroom has walk in shower and tub. Kitchen is great and the host went out of her way to make the stay special. Guaranteed this will exceed your expectations.

Wonderful

This home is so lovingly arranged and cared for. From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease. It's location on the lake is simply stunning- we watched the sunrise reflected in the lake, saw all kinds of birds, and just felt the tranquility of the surroundings everywhere we looked. It is clear that the owner loves this home and takes a lot of pride in caring for it. Everything was clean and comfortable and inviting. The location was fantastic for daytrips to Storm King and DIA Beacon too. We had a wonderful stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. We will look forward to going back!

When you walk into the home, it’s like entering another world, the view is fabulous! We had a great time here over the 4th of July, the lake is beautiful, the owner is super nice and wonderful to work with, you have everything you would need at this property, we had a great experience!

Very cool place!

Christmas on the lake

We had a magical time in the lake house. Everything was perfect even though the weather was only 6 - 10 degrees! The house was very well appointed and comfortable. The lounger in the living room was the favorite seat in the house! Rhona was great with keeping in touch with us from start to finish.

Relaxation

Clean, modern updated lake house, interior is fresh, then you see the stunning views of lake from down stairs or up stairs master and realize that’s why you are here! Owner meet all of our accommodation and the house exceeded all of expectations!

Most relaxing West Point trip ever!

We had a fabulous time at Orange Lake! Woke up and watched the sunrise over the lake, paddled and kayaked In the morning, before heading into West Point for Ring weekend. Loved being away from the hustle and bustle on post. House is so comfortable and well stocked! We really appreciated the washer and dryer. Thank you Rhonda for a wonderful time!

The perfect getaway!

Our stay was absolute perfection! The property was truly amazing; we could not have asked for a better vacation. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor area was my favorite part of the whole house. The views were beautiful and it was so nice to have paddle boards and a kayak to use to get out on the lake. We loved everything about staying here and can't wait to come back next summer!

Perfect Fall Getaway

The Lake House was perfection. So beautiful. So peaceful. This was a fantastic getaway just outside the City. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved waiting up every morning looking over the lake. We were sad to leave, but we're already looking at when we can return.

Relaxing lakeside home

Beautiful lakeside home. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures. The area was very quiet and great for a relaxing vacation. We plan to hopefully come back again.

I am currently a nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Columbia as well as a Cosmetic Nurse Injector and IV Hydration Nurse. Yes that means Botox and hangover treatment, what could be better! Best day ever? 80 degrees, Bon Jovi, coffee, and SKI on Orange Lake...and do it again later..cold brew and Motley Crew..got to switch it up

I was in the area looking for a good afternoon brunch spot and came upon The Lake View House. A boat went by pulling a skier. I went right to Zillow and found this hideous, dilapidated, condemned palace on the water. Bought it immediately. Was hoping for a renovation until we discovered it hand no foundation whatsoever. The rest is history.
