Paradise at Serenity Point - steps from ocean, sound & pool

This cozy, newly remodeled townhome sleeps 5-6 and is at the south end of Topsail Island at Serenity Point. You’ll be surrounded by the sea, just steps from the private beach access to the ocean, the community pool, and the calm waters of the sound.

The home has 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft that kids and teens love (3 beds total). There are 2.5 baths, plus a large outdoor shower.

This area is loved for its long quiet beaches, tall dunes, magical sunsets, starry nights, thriving nature, great shore fishing, and the gorgeous 2 mile walk around the “Point” or end of the island.

Most essentials, beach chairs and gear are supplied so it’s easy to be here! It’s a Sunday to Sunday rental during the summer (less traffic than Saturday’s). I’m the owner and do all the property management and communication to ensure it’s the best vacation.

Shared spaces:

The living room has two comfortable couches, a desk and plenty of your favorite games.

The back deck looks out to dunes, wildlife and sea - relax here with your morning coffee and share evening meals at the spacious outdoor table.

At the front of the house, a covered porch with rocking chairs gives you a break in the shade.

Sleeping spaces:

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen bed, the hallway bedroom has a queen bed, and the open loft has a full bed. All beds are new and very comfortable with memory foam. The loft is really perfect for older children who can climb a short ladder. (Not recommended for young children or grandparents).

We provide linens for the three beds. We have a pack and play crib (no sheets) and an air mattress.

Bathrooms:

There are 2.5 bathrooms so three showers total including a large outdoor shower. We provide bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels (they are sanitized professionally and will be folded, wrapped in plastic, placed on edge of beds). You'll need to bring your own beach towels.

Desk spaces:

Three desks and fast 5G/2G wifi with boosters throughout the home.

Kitchen:

Enjoy our all new appliances in the remodeled kitchen and a complete set of cookware and beach house essentials (including a large crab boil pot, indoor electric grill, griddle, large roasting pan, blender, toaster, coffeepot and French press, and a slow cooker). We’ve installed a water purifier and provide reusable water bottles so there’s no need to buy jugs of filtered water. We have ice trays and a countertop ice maker but bring bag ice if you go through lots.

Beach gear:

We provide beach chairs, a small cooler with ice packs, beach bags, beach wagon, boogie boards, kid beach toys, large beach blanket, corn hole boards, bocce ball, and two sun shade/umbrellas. There are two hoses at front/back of house to rinse off gear, and a hammock for naps.

Fun:

Plenty fun is to be had a few miles away at Topsail Beach center, from a retro arcade, putt putt and old school skating rink to a traditional NC seafood restaurant (Breezeway), two delis (Cora’s Deli and Larry’s Delique), three ice cream shops, a coffee shop/wine bar (Quarter Moon) and an upscale restaurant with outdoor bar (Beach Shop and Grill). You can rent bikes and ocean rec equipment in town.

Streaming:

We have two new Vizio smart TVs in bedrooms with streaming apps to log into your personal accounts. We do not have cable or local TV channels. (But you can smartcast to the TV from any app playing in your smartphone or laptop). You are welcome to move either of these lightweight TVs to the living room.

Other:

This townhome is a part of a two unit duplex, and this unit is side B. No pets or Emotional Support Animals are allowed to stay in or visit this property to keep it allergy free for guests and owners. For security purposes only, there are smart doorbells at the front and back doors, which turn on only when activated. Self checkin and keyless entry via our smart lock makes it easy and safe to access the home.

The quiet neighborhood has its own private beach access with stairs. For a handicap-accessible ramp to the ocean, go to public access number 18 just outside our neighborhood. Access to the calm waters of the sound is a equally close to the house (it has handicap-accessible entrance and is great for younger kids).

The community pool is just across the street from our house and is open Friday of Memorial Day through early October (tropical storm dependent).
