The home was clean, well equipped, and in a quiet area. But the listing was misleading. The listing said the pool could be heated. Prior to booking management told me the pool could be heated for 80/day — the deciding factor in choosing this property. Prior to arrival I messaged management about hearing the pool. 48 hrs before arriving, I was informed there was no heater. This completely changed our experience and was a major disappointment, as pool time is central to our family’s Arizona trips. Had the listing information and management communication been accurate, I would not have booked this home.The listing has since been updated, The info book inside the home still reflects info about a heated pool, Decent home, just frustrated with being misled.

Great place!

This place was great—clean, roomy, and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool (too cold outside) but it looked lovely and would be fun in summer months!

Great Stay!

The house was beautiful and the pool was great! The location of the property was perfect for us and the host was very responsive. Overall, it was a great stay! One small recommendation is that the bed in the master bedroom, which is the only bedroom we used, could use a mattress pad and new sheets. We will stay again if we come back to Phoenix.

Beautiful home

This house had lots of space and was in a nice neighborhood. Only reason for the four stars as opposed to five is that the night before we were to check in the messaged and said the pool could not be heated. This was very unfortunate as we had three kids that had spent 8 hours in the car when we arrived. I specifically picked a place that had the option to heat the pool due to time of year. They made it seem like it was no big deal.

WONDERFUL

We absolutely LOVED this house! We all felt instantly at home. Beautifully decorated, spotless, and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The weather was not great at all but we were still able to use the pool because we arranged to have it heated. Excellent communication with the property management company. We would 100% book again and recommend to friends and family.

Great option for GCU families

This property is a great option for anyone looking to stay near GCU (about 10-15 min drive depending on traffic), not far from Camelback Road & close to a major highway. The rental is set up nicely & room enough for our family of 6. Two different living room areas for everyone to spread out (only 1 tv though). We cooked in the kitchen, used the grill, ate out in the area & also ordered in Italian from one of the suggestions listed from the owner. Pool area is small but worked perfectly for our small group (bring floaties!). Definitely felt like a safe neighborhood. Walmart & several fast food options very close by. We will stay here again!

Spacious house

We stayed here as a family. My husband and I with our boys and there familes. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Loved the 2 living rooms and big kitchen. The master room was big enough for little ones to sleep on small cots for the 2 and 4 year old and a play n pack for the baby. We had the pool heated for the kids and so they enjoyed plenty of time in the private pool. Which I like the brick fence for privacy! Enough room to park our vehicles off the street. The little kids enjoyed watching the neighbors walk their dogs in the morning. Had fun trying out the restaurants close by for breakfast! Host was nice to supply a crockpot request for us. It was perfect place to stay. All I would ask in the future is a large pot for cooking. Would stay here again for sure!!

We went up to Arizona to bring my daughter to GCU. This home was close to everything we needed. It was close to all the shops she needed to get items for her dorm room and it was close to campus too. The house was really big and had more than enough space for my whole family. The kids definitely enjoyed the pool even with the Arizona heat.

We found Happy Haus and thought it looked like a good place. When we arrived it was even better than we hoped for! The place was super clean, bigger than it looked in pics and setup just right. Beds were very comfortable, clean and rooms were nice. The pool was super clean and perfect temp. We used the gazebo a lot! Nice to be outside. They had a charcoal grill we used twice. I would highly recommend this place!

Happy Haus

This is a good rental. It was overall just what was needed. Plenty room to spread out. There were 4 adults in our group. Good Life Vacation Homes who manages were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable. Pool was a nice size. It wasn’t heated but it was 110 degrees here this week and the pool was the perfect temperature and clean. It is a quiet neighborhood and easy to drive to anything.

Pool was perfect it got shade around 4pm and really cooled it down beautiful decor. There were some dead bugs in the family room near the pool. My sister is a clean freak so she did clean everything and spray the bug spray provided thank you. Possibly have some clorox wipes or disinfectant avaliable to guest. Another helpful tip would to have the gate code for the trash in the welcome book I was having a hard time finding it in my emails. Other wise great stay and beautiful house

Lovely home in great neighborhood

We loved our stay at Happy Haus. The home is extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the swimming pool in the heat of Phoenix. The home is located in a great neighborhood. We appreciated the detailed instructions provided by the host plus the host's quick response when a question arose. We highly recommend Happy Haus!
