Quiet and Peaceful!

This home is nestled in a small community and backs up to dense forest, beyond which is Lake Galena (viewable after the trees shed their fall luster)! Enjoy listening to the birds as you sip your morning coffee on one of the two decks, or screened in porch. Enjoy a glass of wine around the gas firepit as you unwind from a day of adventuring or shopping in downtown Galena. This home features three levels, each of which has a full bath and bedroom. The main level offers the great room that flows into the dining and kitchen areas; screen porch, and large deck. The lower level offers a pool table, additional TV with bar type seating, and deck. The upper level offers an additional loft area. The home’s layout is perfect for both gatherings and a personal oasis.

Owners Club amenities include indoor & outdoor pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, game room, & fitness center. Boat rentals available on beautiful Lake Galena!

Excellence abound

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the conditions of the home in which we stayed. We felt at home immediately as the pictures provided very accurately portrayed the dwelling. We were able to use much of the associated Eagle Ridge resort amenities including tennis, pickleball, swimming and sauna. The surrounding area is simply gorgeous with amazing vistas and a short, easy drive into Galena. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Wedding weekend

Very quaint and peaceful, but lacking in comfort as to mattresses, pillows and bedding. Also there's a musty/moldy smell throughout the home.

Galena get away

House was great. Worked good for 3 friends. All having our own bath/bedroom. Our code didn't work to get in the property. Ring picked it up and someone was able to set it again. Communication/questions to host prior to stay were not answered. We were there on a VERY busy weekend. Had inquired about taxi/uber. No answer. Would have been nice if we would have had some warning about not being able to taxi or uber because of the busy weekend. That was a question that was never answered.

Girls Trip

Our group of 6 really enjoyed our stay here. The property was just as it was decribed. Very clean and we loved the rooms/layout. It was perfect for 6 people. It is in a very quiet area with plenty of wildlife. We enjoyed how peaceful it was.

Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming house. The layout was perfect for our needs and the home is so inviting. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom on different levels. Great location - secluded and quiet yet close to downtown Galena. We enjoyed feeding and watching the birds from the porch and deck. Great communication with Lorebeth. Would definitely stay here again!

40th Anniversary Celebration

We had three couples and enjoyed this house so much! It was so nice to be able to stay with friends and have a space we could catch up. We enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. (The squirrels helped themselves too). We felt like we were in a tree house. We all loved that each couple had their own bathroom! Laura Beth was a great hostess.

NICE!

Location was perfect for us. We were there for a wedding nearby and close to other family & friends in the area. Lots of trees on property. Back deck was covered with leaves and squirrels (enjoyed watching them!). Certainly quiet and peaceful.

Great Place

I was there with my sister and cousins (4 in all) for a weekend in Galena. Lorebeth was easy to communicate with. She responded quickly with questions. The property is beautiful and functional. The house was equipped with everything that you need. It was very clean and comfortable. It was about a 15 minute (ish) to Main St. Great place to stay!

Perfect Hideaway

We loved the location as it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Galena but close enough for a quick run into town. The house is beautiful and we appreciated the 3 separate sleeping areas. Having 3 full bathrooms was very helpful. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch where we could eat, chat, read, etc. The area around the house is amazing-great for a brisk morning walk. We’ll definitely be returning to this lovely home.

Five Star Plus

Family group of 6 ranging from 71 to 3 stayed for 3 nights. Pictures are totally accurate. Beautifully updated home in the woods of Galena Territory. Really liked bedroom and bath located on each of 3 floors to maximize privacy. 2 decks and large screened porch with comfortable furniture extends the living space. A gas fireplace and fire pit would be great in cooler weather. This was the best equipped rental that we have ever enjoyed. Checkin was easy and the Galena Territory clubhouse was conveniently located with excellent recreational facilities. A quick drive to Galena and Dubuque. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Great Stay

We loved our week in Galena and the house was exactly as described. There were 6 of us (three generations) in the house and with the 3 bedrooms it was perfect. The owners were very responsive to our texts and communication! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to rent a house in Galena.

Wonderfully Relaxing

A great vacation rental in a community with a lot of golf courses and some vacation activities. The facilities are nice and the property itself is well-kept, nicely decorated, and spacious located in a quiet, wooded area. 15 minutes from Galena with lots of attraction, shopping, and good food. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with plenty to do, or if you want to do nothing at all, this is the place to go.

Great location, lots of things to do right in the area. The house was also great, great design, 3 floors each with bedrooms and bathrooms so great for multiple couples or families, common space was also Great!! Also enjoyed the outdoor spaces with the screened in porch and deck with fire table and loved the grill. Many Thanks for a 5 star trip!!

Family getaway

Private and quiet. We hiked and used the pools at the owners club. There were wild berries along some of the paths. We saw wild turkeys every day
