Great spot on 7 Mile Beach

This was a beautiful unit right in the beach- walk right out into the ocean. We appreciated the quiet location, yet walking distance to two great restaurants. I am noticing that VRBO check ins in general seem to be getting later and check outs earlier- personally think standard check out should be at least 11 AM and check in 3 PM- but management worked with us on that. Overall, great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Janice from the first moment was not very kind and cordial with us and never explained to us how is the procedure for check in, how to get the keys, among other things and I had to go personally to get into the room I had rented.The apartment number 16 is NOT prepared to be rented and even less for 6 guests, the apartment has only 4 knives and forks, the chairs are only for 4 guests, there are no elements to clean the apartment, we found a cigarette under the couch in the living room, the refrigerator and oven are very old and are in poor condition, there are not enough dishes for the guests, the beach towels are very few and of poor quality, for the beach there are only 4 deck chairs assigned for the unit.The apartment has a "false bedroom" where it is a loft where you can only enter crouched and without ventilation.I do not recommend this unit to spend the vacations as it has many important shortcomings to have a pleasant experience. At the same time, it does not have a manager assigned to the unit in case of any concerns.

The beach is your backyard

In terms of location, this was everything I was hoping for. As the ultimate beach bum, the beach literally in your backyard is a dream. It’s beautiful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main parts of seven mile beach. I’ve stayed closer to the main portion many times and while it is still perfect, here you have the beach to yourself most of the time, you have your own chairs, and you don’t get much traffic like people walking the beach. There were only a handful of other couples here during the time we were there. The chickens are plentiful, but they become your friends by the time you leave :) luckily, We didn’t hear them most mornings. They seemed to crow more during the afternoons, in case anyone is concerned about early crowing disturbing your sleep. I bought ear plugs, knowing the island, but didn’t need them. The lots on either side are both empty which brings a few locals now and then but we never found it bothersome In terms of the condo, for the price point I would say it is fair. The pictures are accurate and overall it does the job. The kitchen is stocked well enough as we do lots of cooking while we are there. Tons of beach towels for the two of us, which was great. Cushions on the beach chairs is a nice perk. The hammock is right outside your door, which is nice for relaxing in the evenings Cayman villas was easy to work with for booking, and responsive to any questions I had. Marji was also super helpful and responsive There were a few things I thought could use upgrading, to elevate the experience but none of them were dealbreakers for us. The couch in the living room certainly needs to be replaced, though Marji mentioned it was ordered already so hopefully it arrives soon for future visitors. We would’ve appreciated a few extra blankets and pillows for sleeping And the bedroom had a sort of odd smell to it in my opinion. We also couldn’t figure out how to keep only the screen door open, the slider would block it. Though as I said, these weren’t dealbreakers and we didn’t complain about any of it- if we did, Marji probably would’ve offered solutions as she was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was the internet was not working upon our arrival. I contacted Marji about it that same day, she offered a temporary solution overnight and then had the service technician come set us up with a new router the next day while we relaxed in the beach, and it was great the rest of our trip

A gem of a property!

The view and pristine beach outside of our door was priceless! Those who live onsite were friendly and welcoming. Quiet and never too crowded on the property or the beach. Very responsive property manager (thanks, Marji!). The condo was mostly well-appointed for our family of four and suited us just fine -- my only critique is the mattress on the pullout sofa is thin and for some reason was still covered in plastic, making for a bit of a noisy sleep for those who toss and turn. Would most definitely book this property again ... a little piece of paradise!

Perfect spot

Garden condo that steps out to the sand and beach. Very quiet, perfect location just north of Georgetown, but still 7 mile beach. The area is very sandy, so you'll need to plan to snorkel elsewhere. But it's perfect for viewing the sunset and swimming. The manager and housekeeper were incredibly helpful and accessible. We will definitely come back here.

Great Location

We had a great stay at White Sands. We stayed 5 nights starting 1/30/25. Location was perfect for us as it is on the quiet end of 7 mile beach. Open the patio door and you are on the beach. There is a keypad lock on the patio door, which was great. Not a lot else in the area, there is a restaurant at Kimpton Seafire, a short walk down the beach. A car rental is really a must in this location, which didn’t bother us at all. Unit was a bit dated, but overall was clean and worked great for us. No elevators to get to the beach, just open the door. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location!

My wife and I had a great stay at White Sands #4. We have traveled to Grand Cayman over a dozen times over the last few years and always stay on seven mile beach. The location of this unit and others in this complex simply cannot be beat. It is on the quieter end of seven mile beach, which we very much appreciate. Patio opens to the beach and it's only steps from the ocean. The unit is well furnished and equipped as expected.

Great Place!

While I wouldn't call White Sands 4 luxurious, it is very nice. Inside it is very comfortable and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which isn'talways the case in some places. The TV was a little bit of a struggle, but Marji was very helpful and always answered the call. And for the outside, IT'S WONDERFUL! There is something to be said for stepping off your patio directly onto the beach, especially when it has enough room, from full sun to shade, to give everyone space for themselves. Other than a few people walking the beach, it truly is secluded. There are a couple of restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk down the beach, and plenty more, along with a grocery and liquor store just a short drive away. We will definitely stay again when we return to the island. plenty of

Loved it

My only complaints about this place are that the matress on king bed is too soft, the mattress on sleeper sofa is too thin and there's no pool. The only reason i mention a pool is cuz we traveled with our 2 small kids (ages 6&2), and we had unswimmable water our last day due to hurricane milton. If this place had a pool, itd he perfect for a family of 4. Location is hreat, the beach is very private and the shore is very shallow which is perfect for small kids. Would def stay here again, esp if we come travel without kids next time. The place is very clean and easy to get to, akd is kinda private from the main road too. The seclusion is wonderful and the property is pretty and has great spots for pics on the property or right next door. Only reason i give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of a pool

Quiet piece of Paradise!

We love White Sands. Marji is great to work with and super helpful. Housekeeper is also fantastic! Condo is very spacious, furniture is great. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and she slept on the pull out sofa bed. She said it was very comfortable. Condo had everything that we needed for the week. Location is convenient to grocery and restaurants. And you can’t beat the view from the back patio!!
