Family friendly home.EV charger, fenced yard, bocce!

Electricity, water, and internet are all back to normal! Comfortable sofas and beds, luxurious linens and towels, and thoughtful touches will help make your stay relaxing and memorable.

The home is a 10 minute walk to beautiful Lake Tomahawk, 1.2 miles to the shops and restaurants of quaint Black Mountain, and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville.

Kitchen, dinning and living area are open-concept with high vaulted ceilings for an airy feel.

There is an additional screened in seating area if you want to cozy up with a book in the fall breeze.

The main bedroom features a king bed, smart TV, and private bathroom with luxury shower. The additional two bedrooms both have queen beds with memory foam mattresses. One of the queen bedrooms has an additional smart TV. There is an additional bathroom with a bathtub/shower as well.

The spacious backyard has a privacy fence and lots of room for relaxing or play. Enjoy local brews and roasting marshmallows around your firepit after playing a few rounds of bocce on your private court (bocce set provided)! Cook some burgers on the new grill!

Renovated backyard shed contains a play and art space for kids or young at hear with coloring, board games, darts, bean bags, fairy lights and a multi-game table (mini pool, air hockey, etc).

We know traveling with young children can be an added stress. We are happy to provide a pack and play with an additional mattress insert for 1+ year olds, hiking carrier, high chair and toys. Please let us know of any needs at time of booking. Please note, the home is not child-proofed. Furniture is not secured to the walls, outlets do not have safety covers, etc.

While there are stairs to enter the home, everything else is on one level for you convenience and safety.

Pets are considered on a case by case basis. Our insurance does have some breed restrictions as well. There is an additional $75/pet.

Wonderful place to relax! Clean and close to Black Mountain and 15 mins. to Asheville

We had a great time - hiking, running, walking, eating and just playing. The house was perfect for us!

Best yet in BMT

We've visited Black Mountain numerous times and this property was the best that we have stayed at. Everything was spotless and all of the little things you might need were provided - coffee, snack basket, q-tips, cotton balls etc, etc ... The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog, and it was a quick walk to Lake Tomahawk to get her some exercise. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay in Black Mountain

Convenient, nicely laid out for a group of 4 + 2 dogs, everything we needed was there including coffee, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dinnerware, and dogs enjoyed the private back yard. I would most definitely book this place again!

Black Mountain Getaway

We had the best experience staying at this rental! The property was modern, impeccably clean, and had a wonderfully homey feel. It was perfect for our family, especially with kids—the thoughtful amenities and setup made it incredibly comfortable and convenient. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Feels like Home

We loved our short weekend stay at the property. The bed linens, towels, and little things really made us feel just at home. The convenience of the location to all that we did was perfect. The neighborhood is a little trashy but the houses directly surrounding it are fine. This didn't impact our stay at all. We will definitely stay again!

Comfortable Cozy Cottage

This property was outstanding. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Very convenient location to restaurants, hiking trails and other amenities. The hosts were exceptional at providing information on local establishments. The property was beautifully decorated and well stocked with kitchen necessities.

Fantastic rental. The house has everything you need for an awesome weekend. Perfectly clean and very kid friendly. Our kids loved the backyard and all of the thoughtful additions for kids (books, games, etc.). We are already planning our next stay!

Summer hiking trip

Everything was exactly as described online. There wasn’t anything we needed that the owners didn’t provide. We brought our dog who absolutely loved the fenced-in yard. Loved the town of Black Mountain. Great visit!

Great place for family vacation

Stayed here for spring break with our kids. Nice location super close to Black Mountain and not far from Montreat. Easy to get to I-40 when we wanted to drive to Asheville or other places nearby. Was very clean and had tons of extras we don’t always see in rental houses and usually have to bring or buy like a basket of snacks, kitchen supplies like dishwasher tabs and trash bags, all the laundry supplies we could need, soap dispensers, tissues, and games and kids toys. Back yard was great and kids loved playing back there on the swing and in the playhouse.

Black Mountain in June 2024

The property is outstanding. Lots of perks including 3 TVs, a playhouse, grill, and firepit. We especially liked the screened in porch for the evening. The location was close to Lake Tomahawk and downtown Black Mountain. Our host was excellent. She responded quickly to any request (there were only two) and took care of them immediately. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Exactly as advertised!

This house exceeded our expectations. It’s extremely clean and not a detail was forgotten! The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The property is perfect for kids and pets. There were toys and a pack n play there for us and the back yard was great for our dog. Jessica was very attentive and available right away if we contacted. Highly recommend!!

Amazing place!

Before we left, our kids (13M and 8F) made us promise we would come back. The location is wonderful - close to lake Tomahawk and downtown Black Mountain. The beds were comfy and the place had everything you could need (even Q-tips!). For the kids, the outdoor area was king. There is a play house complete with a pulley in case you brought a bucket and a mini basketball hoop. There is an outdoor fire pit and bocce ball court - which we didn’t know we needed until now. Jessica was quick to respond and everything was very easy and clear. We will be back!

Our family had a wonderful holiday stay at this cute house. It was great to find hosts that would accommodate our pets! The house is also within walking distance from downtown if you are up for a walk. We have only good things to say about the property. Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect

Our stay in Black Mountain over Thanksgiving was everything we needed. The house is adorable, well maintained, high quality linens, perfectly clean, no detail was missed. Highly recommend and we will stay again in this charming little town.

Great House

The house is exactly as pictured. We loved the porches and the fenced back yard. Five minute drive into town. Close to the lake for a nice walk with the dogs. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this house. The place was spotless and had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The fenced in backyard was great for us and our dogs to enjoy the good weather as well as the firepit in the cooler evening. 100% would stay again!
