Outstanding rental

We couldn't have been more pleased with this home. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to spread out, the beds are very comfortable, the private bath for each bedroom is helpful, and the kitchen was very well equiped and organized. The owners have thought of and provided everything you might need and were attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great time had by all

We had such a great time. There were 4 couples all over the age of 65. There was plenty of room for us all. It was a great gathering place, but there was room to get away if you needed private time. Would love to go back.

Great place and great communication

Can’t say enough about this house. We loved everything about it. The owner called a week or so before our trip to see if we had questions, called when we got there to see if check-in went okay, and answered my call when I need help with something. Great location with a view of the golf course and a pond.

The Perfect Vacation House

We came to Kiawah Island for a golf tournament and were lucky enough to rent this wonderful house for two weeks. This house had everything we needed and was close to all of the golf courses and beach. The house was clean and very comfortable for all six of us. Tom was very accommodating and just a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully we can come back in the future. It's now one of our favorite places. Thank you so much Tom!

Family beach vacation!

We booked Tom’s place for a week with our two adult children, their souses, and our 2 YO grandson, as we wanted to check out Kiawah Island for the first time. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Tom reached out about a month before our stay to provide information about check-in and offered a number of recommendations based on our interests. The house was beautiful, the perfect size for all of to enjoy meals together and have space to ourselves when needed. The kitchen was very well equipped which was much appreciated since we cooked five dinners in! We loved the deck, watching the golfers, the walk to the beach, and seeing so many alligators! The island is very private, quiet, and full of wealth. We kayaked in the river and enjoyed riding bikes on the paved trails. We had one of our most relaxing weeks in a long time! We would highly recommend Tom’s place to any family looking to stay on Kiawah Island!

The kitchen has been remodeled and is well equipped and wonderful to work in. The rooms are spacious, and beds comfortable. The home is tastefully decorated. This was our annual Sisters trip. This home exceeded our expectations on every level. Tom was spot on with very timely responses to questions and with information about the area and the house. The house is very nicely decorated, very clean, and has everything needed for a comfortable vacation. The beaches around Kiawah are lovely and there is one that is a short drive and a medium walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Tom’s home.

Fantastic stay!

This was the perfect place for our annual couples trip. Everything about it was top-notch from the fully-appointed kitchen to the screened in porch to the fantastic deck overlooking the golf-course and the water. The island is gorgeous and is fun to bike around. Tom is a wonderful host and has appointed his lovely home with everything needed for a wonderful vacation. We couldn’t be happier.

Favorite Rental on Kiawah

Perfect location, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, kitchen, living room, porch and decks. Garage a nice perk. Well appointed property with everything one could need. Very organized. Owner very nice and responsive to questions and needs. My group has been coming to Kiawah for 18 years and this is definitely our favorite property ever. We hope to return for many years to come.

Lovely Stay in Kiawah

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Kiawah home. It is tastefully decorated and updated. Having 4 en suite bathrooms is very convenient for a big group. The kitchen is fully stocked and the house has everything you need for a good beach day including chairs and bikes. The scenery from the deck is amazing. I highly recommend this rental.

The house has been updated since the pictures listed on vrbo. The couches were new and very comfortable. The eating area was substantial for the family. The kitchen had new tile and a large, new island. Very pleasant.

Family Vacation

This property was exactly what we were looking for for our family vacation! 8 of us fit more than comfortably into this home. The age range in our group spanned from 1.5 to 66. The only complaint about our experience is that the pillows were too soft on the beds. If that is the only complaint I can think of, it was clearly a wonderful experience staying at the property. Tom was the most fantastic owner that I have had the pleasure to rent from. He called before our check in to let us know about various items that he already had at the home so we didn’t have to bring them which saved us a huge headache. High chair, beach wagon, the list goes on. He was also very communicative. I had texted him to let him know about a deck board that was starting to go bad and he responded in a very timely manner that he would have it looked at. From the deck back deck, we experienced a wide variety of the local wildlife. Deer in the yard, alligators in the pond, egrets & lizards. If you enjoy watching the wildlife, the back deck on this property is the place to be with a large cup of coffee. The walk to to beach was less than 10 minutes. The house was stocked with beach gear. Toys, chairs, umbrellas and we left a volleyball for the next family to enjoy. The grocery store was less than 10 minutes by car. If I was to ever plan another family vacation to Kiawah, I couldn’t imagine renting from anyone else or staying anywhere else.

Great house, great location, great owner!

We spent 3 weeks on Kiawah at 10 Greensward Rd! We really didn’t know what to expect but Tom is wonderful, responsive and detail oriented. The house offered every amenity you need to make your visit feel like home! There wasn’t anything we didn’t find in the kitchen and for the beach. The location is perfect for beach lovers, and it’s close to Freshfields and golf! Definitely would return for a future visit!

The Best!

Everything was wonderful at this rental! Beautiful, clean, spacious, lovely location, easy to work with host, comfortable beds, detailed helpful info on home and area. We have already booked a return trip! This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Perfect accomodations for our family!

Wonderful experience

Our vacation was a wonderful experience. A few rainy days due to Ian, but the living space very comfortable and spacious for 7 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for eating dinners in and very close to the beach when the sun did come out! We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Tom!!

We invested in this area after visiting numerous times while our son was stationed in the Navy as an instructor at the Nuclear Naval Training Command in Charleston.
I am retired from medical sales while my wife is a retired school teacher. Our partners in the home are a publisher of a business journal and a domestic engineer.

We love the beach, nature, bike trails, and all the amenities that the island has to offer. The house is a short walk to the beach so we can go back and forth easily. We also enjoy the short trip to Charleston for the history and amazing dining & shopping opportunities that the city offers.

Our house has 4 bedrooms each with it's own en suite bathroom which was important to us since we have many visitors. The open floor plan and high ceilings in the great room were also very appealing. We enjoy sitting on the deck and listening to the fish jumping in the lagoon (no doubt escaping from Gary Gator) and seeing some very interesting golf swings off the 17 tee of Cougar Point Golf Course. Being near the front of the island makes it so it easy to get into Charleston (35 minutes) & to Freshfields Village (2 mile bike ride,) which has many nice shops & restaurants and a great grocery store.
