Welcome to The Gilded Carriage Haus! Come to one of the most fabulous B&Bs in Fredericksburg Texas. This house was completely renovated in Oct. of 2021 with an eye towards GLAM, GLITZ and SHINE. Historically, this house was built in 1896 as the Carriage Haus for Fredericksburg residents. You would go to town and leave your horse and buggy for repair. Today it is a premier B&B with 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Gourmet Kitchen and Hot Tub---all just one block from town. Come enjoy!
The house and grounds are yours. Guests love the front butterfly garden, the back Hot Tub, and the expansive oak. The Gilded Carriage Haus was professionally decorated inside. New bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen were installed. This house is glamorous!
You can see Fredericksburg's city center as you walk out the front door.
In the late 1800s, this street was called Millionaire’s Row.

-3 Guest Bedrooms (total of four bedrooms) with queen beds -Tempur-pedic style mattresses & Smart TVs with Hulu LIVE
-All bedrooms have white robes for guests.

-Master EnSuite Luxury Bathroom - large bathroom with walk-in shower large enough for two, also 2 vanities
-Guest Bathroom with shower/tub combo (bathroom is directly accessible to the 2 bedrooms)

-Large modern open Living Room with large Smart TV with Hulu LIVE
-Large "one of the kind" Hollywood mirror that covers an entire wall
-Living Room that has a Bar connecting the Living Room and Dining Room to the Kitchen
-Double sided fireplace adjoins Living Room and Guest Bedroom 3 (back in the day this was used to blacksmith horseshoes)
-Living room has a futon sofa for additional sleeping

-Dining Room with large contemporary glass table and chairs for 10+. The DR connects to both the Living Room and Kitchen
-Breakfast nook outside of kitchen with seating for four
Kitchen
-Chef's/Gourmet stainless-steel Kitchen with stove, microwave, large refrigerator, & dishwasher. Kitchen is stocked with blender, toaster, dishes, glasses, pots & pans, Keurig Coffeemaker and more for cooking
-Full size washer and dryer for your use right outside of the Kitchen (behind bi-fold doors)
OUTSIDE Enjoy:
-Butterfly garden in front yard
-Backyard seating where you can gather under the historic oak
-New Hot Tub with jets for 10 people
-Long driveway for parking multiple vehicles
-Walking distance to main (you can see the Market Platz from the front steps)
Amenities: sheets, towels, shampoo, soap, conditioner, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and sweeteners etc.
You are in the nicest part of Fredericksburg in a very safe neighborhood. Your neighbors include doctors, college professors, lawyers, and other B&B guests. You have access to the entire house, backyard and private Hot Tub! Walk one block towards Main Street and you will be in the center of Fredericksburg, TX. House location makes it very easy for you to walk to to everything in town. Something interesting about the house…Because this was the Carriage Haus many of the walls are stone. Give them a good knock!

You will love the combination of historical and rennovated modern. Carriage Haus is one of the nicest B&Bs you can stay in in Fredericksburg Texas. It was rennovated down to the studs in 2021 (where we could-Many of the walls are basse block under the sheet rock).
You will also love the back yard and super large hot tub under a century oak tree.
