A tiny cabin with a lot to offer when you just want to get away from it all!
Our perfectly peaceful cabin is available for rent any time of year. Explore the surrounding forest on private trails, laze in the sunshine on the deck, BBQ dinner under the stars, or just enjoy cozying up in the cabin after a dip in the swim spa. Feel like you are miles from anywhere, when you’re just 10 minutes from civilization!
• Wake to the sound of birdsong, and savour that first coffee of the day on your private covered porch, overlooking a secluded scenic meadow surrounded by pine forests.
• At night, sit beneath a canopy of stars warmed by our traditional chiminea, or enjoy a cooling summer evening breeze on either of the cabin’s porches.
There’s so much to enjoy at NRG Sanctuary.
• Winter: Hike, ski, or snowshoe the 10km private trails in our tranquil forest in winter. Or just get cozy beside the cabin’s gas fireplace.
• Summer: Laze in the sunshine on the deck, cook up a delicious dinner on the BBQ, and gaze at the star-bejewelled skies with a glass of local wine.
Rent by the night, for the weekend, weekdays, or for up to 28 days for a relaxing vacation.

Cabin was very well kept. Had everything I needed and more. Quiet, peaceful property with it's own walking trails and Hullett Wildlife Conservation Area quite close by. Host was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Should be aware that internet access is limited and sporadic but was perfect for my purposes. Would definitely return.

Relaxing Escape in a Cozy Cabin

Pleasant Birthday Weekend

We had a great time at Linda's tiny cabin. Very relaxing, peaceful environment. The swim spa was a hit. We hiked the trails on Linda's property and enjoyed visiting Clinton and Goderich. We loved it and intend to return in the summer months!

Tiny cabin getaway

This place is beautiful. Secluded and super quiet. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need. Our host Linda was amazing. Welcomed us when we arrived and really made us feel at home. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway. Very impressed!!

Peaceful escape

My boyfriend and I wanted to find a peaceful getaway to celebrate his birthday. This property did not disappoint! Linda is very communicative and helpful. She made sure we had all we needed and let us know to text her if we had questions. At check in she said it could be contactless or she could come meet us to go over things. The cabin is cozy and private and has everything you need. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the birds every morning. Linda is very thoughtful and the pride of ownership is obvious in the beautiful cabin. Being so close to Blyth and Bayfield, we enjoyed taking in some craft breweries as well as the Berry Farm. With a full kitchen in the cabin, we had brought food and made our breakfast so we could enjoy our mornings. Everything you could need was there and we felt very at ease the whole stay. The swim spa was a wonderful break in our day, we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and completely relax. We did not get to the trails this time but look forward to that during a future visit.

PLEASE READ!!

I just wanted to start my review by saying we didn't have a problem with our host Linda, she was super friendly and the cabin was very clean. But, I just think their needs to be something in the listing about the hot tub, the only reason I booked this cabin is because of the hot tub. It was my 10 year anniversary and my husband and I had planned to spend most of our time in the hot tub. There definitely needs to be more details in the listing about the hot tub. We were extremely disappointed when she told us that it wasn't just us That would be using it. There is another place on her property that she rents, maybe there are several, I'm not sure. So those who booked her other places can also use it as well..... That is not something we had expected...and also, this is even worse. If you think of being in a hot tub, do you imagine going in around 9 or 10 on the evening? Me too!! Well please don't expect that! There is a sign up sheet to book your time slot , the hrs of operation for the hot tub are from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00p.m. so since we only booked this for the hot tub we had to call and switch around our dinner and lunch reservations just to ensure we were home before it closes at 7:00. So we decided on our last night That since check out was at 11:00 in the morning that we would just head out since we wouldn't be able to use the hot tub. So we lost out on some of our money because we went home a night early. One other thing, maybe you are good at noticing in the picture of the toilet, but in case you missed it like myself, it is a composting toilet! My husband and I did NOT like it. I would say the experience is similar to using a toilet in a airplane or worse, an outhouse .... It gave me extreme anxiety to have to use it, going to the bathroom is an extremely private thing for me so it really bothered me. Linda had said when we were checking in just to call her if the pee bucket thing was full she would come empty it , since there is nitrogen in our pee she likes to dump it under the trees....... I did not like that either. I honestly would rather pee outside then to have someone come and empty my pee. It just felt like an invasion in of privacy somehow, I'm not sure why we felt that way but we did. I'm sure some people would like idea of it but we surely did not! But like I said, the cabin was clean and Linda was more than nice , so we didn't have a problem with her at all! Just the lack of details on the hot tub. Thanks!!

Relaxing and Cosy

This newly built cabin has all the amenities you would need and we spent 4 relaxing nights. Decks on both sides of cabins was perfect and coming into the warm cabin with fireplace going...so warm and cosy. Very short walk to the swimming SPA and that was the cleanest spa ever. So very relaxing. Hosts gave us all the instructions on first day and from then were easy to reach if we needed anything. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Great little spot

The cabin was very cute and if you're looking for a cabin to spend the weekend at, this is your spot. We went when nobody else was in the other cabin so it was nice to have a little area to ourselves. Make sure to bring a board game or book as there is no tv and wifi is VERY iffy. The swimspa was great but we were unaware it was located in a totally different building- our mistake though.

I have been someone who has loved nature from being a small girl. I didn't want to play with barbies. I wanted to climb trees and sit mesmerized by babbling brooks. I love to photograph flora and fauna. I took part in many clubs and government projects that were geared towards giving back to nature. We have spent many hours rehabilitating an old gravel pit, and planting thousand of trees to improve habitat for the animals. We try our hardest to maintain the area as a natural environment. I love how nature gives so much, just by being there. Within minutes of walking into a bush, you take bigger breaths, your heart rate slows, and you start to unwind. You smell the earth , the pine needles or the spicy walnuts. You get back to your natural roots. That's what living in this forested country property does for me. That's what I would love to share with you.
I've also spent most of my life investigating ways to be healthy. I am a registered Massage Therapist, specializing in Manual Lymph Therapy and Reiki practitioner. I am currently taking several other health related courses. I believe in a holistic view of health. I love photography, skiing, snowshoeing, and camping in the wilderness. I would love to share any of my expertise with you.

Welcome to Nature's Rejuvenating Garden Sanctuary to refresh and renew your mind and body. Come to a place where you can find peace and serenity among our enchanted forest without having to be in the middle of nowhere. This area is a haven for nature enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and anyone needing to sit back and relax.
Our forest is a magical place with sacred points and ancient trees. This was one of the last properties in Southwestern Ontario that was developed. Most of it has never been changed from it's original state. It was deemed the most significant wildlife area in Southwestern Ontario by an terrestrial ecologist. The hills and ridges were formed by 3 separate glaciers thousands of years ago.
Our property has an all season tiny cabin, a 3 season trailer (May - October), and space for extra tents or trailers. You can pay an extra fee to have all the rental sites to yourself, or share the grounds. All sites are not within view of each other. The trailer is 100 meters away from our house, and only visible when we are outside. The cabin is also 100 meters away from our residence but down the hill and blocked by bushes. We can help you enjoy your stay or give you complete privacy.
We have packages that will enhance your stay, or just sit back and chill to the sound of the whispering wind through the pines. There are roughly 10 km of trails for your walking, mountain biking, skiing or snowshoeing enjoyment. Hullet Provincial Wildlife Area has 2200 hectares of public land and is just a hop, skip and a jump away to continue these activities that both our property and Hullet provide.
