Beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom home in Kaysville

We have 2 beautiful bedrooms in our basement apartment, one with a queen bed and a desk space, and the other with full-sized bunk beds and a twin-sized trundle. The Master bedroom includes a tray with some welcome sweets on your first night. The kitchen has lots of storage and is open to the beautiful family room with built-ins, an awesome sectional, a big screen TV, and a cozy fireplace. It is the perfect place to snuggle up and watch movies or shows. There is also a desk space in the common area. In the full bathroom we provide basic amenities including soap, shampoo and conditioner, and toothpaste for adults and children (limit of 2). The outdoor space has a stream running through the big yard and a walking bridge to the other side where you can have a fire or play in the creek.

Cozy Basement Apartment in Excellent Part of Town

This cute basement apartment was clean and cozy. I enjoyed having a nice kitchen and a huge great room to hang out in. The location was perfect as it was close to our son’s in-laws. We plan to stay there again!

We had problems from the get go. Dark entrance in back down stairs that were not lit, no A/C, dirty beds with hair and debris, trash outside the window wells (was in basement, one looked like a bag used to put dog feces in) fridge was filthy inside and out, coffee pot had old coffee grounds and filter with a layer of green mold on top. All windows have about a 5 foot deep window well with no egress in case of emergency. Hole in a bedroom door with dried liquid on the door. Left less than 24 hours after check in. Host was “sorry and would tell cleaning crew to check coffee pot even if it looked unused.” Picked up candy wrappers along the walk from the driveway to the door. Contacted VRBO and filed a claim. Host refused any kind of refund for nights unused. Beware! Not VRBO standard by any means.

Great Hosts

This property was even larger and more spacious than w expected. The back yard is absolutely beautiful, and when we return we will make more time so we can enjoy the fire and creek. The hosts were very accommodating and kind. This is a great place to stay and very affordable. We had four in our party, two adults and two twelve year olds and felt plenty comfortable.

We offer the 2-bedroom basement apartment beneath our home with a separate entrance, driveway parking, and a beautiful backyard. We have incorporated maps of the world, beautiful spaces, and our love of travel and adventure into our decor and we hope to convey our warm inclusivity to our guests.

The house is in a nice, safe neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake. It’s near a great walking trail and feels like a rural environment but is just a couple of minutes from I-15. You’ll be near Boondocks, Get Air Trampoline Park, Barnes Park, several grocery stores, and a handful of restaurants. There are several more restaurants a 5-minute drive to the north in Layton and Farmington Station is 5-10 minutes south with lots of shopping and restaurants as well as outdoor space with fountains, a playground, and a nice, friendly ambience.
