Go for a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub while watching the stallions in the pasture next the the house. Take a 5 minute walk down to the lake and enjoy the hiking trails. The house is located on the northern peninsula of Lake Grapevine, a locals only spot. Shops & restaurants are only a five-minute drive away.

Beautiful property and amazing host

We had an incredible stay at this secluded oasis! The property is even better than the photos quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The pool and hot tub were the perfect spots to relax, and the overall setup made it easy to unwind and feel at home.Michelle was a fantastic host—very communicative, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. You can tell she takes great care in making sure her guests have a great experience.We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Girls weekend

The property is beautiful and very relaxing and close to the activities we planned. The house is very nice and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub and outside atmosphere. The only complaint my party had were the securities lights turned toward house and faced into the bedrooms. We had a great time. Thank You(fyi: ceiling fan is noisy in master)

Wonderful Location

Beautiful home, loved the property, plenty of space inside and outside. Amazing pool, enjoyed the time outdoors with kids. Went for a walk in the evening down to the lake, Beautiful to see the sun setting!

Beyond Our Expectations!

I could write a book starting with the personal contact and following through with personal attention as needed during our trip. The property was secluded and a place of rest and relaxation via hot tub and pool and backyard with trees that sheltered and brought shade in early morning and late evening. The inside was huge! Often would have to go hunt to find a family member that disappeared. Arcade games, air hockey, large screen tvs, a desk for writing or quiet time for reading, walks to nearby lake. If we wanted activity it was there, if we wanted alone time and peace and quiet, it was there. Perfectly situated close to Ft. Worth and other local touristy places like Grapevine. And how this house was stocked! Michelle has planned and organized and thought of everything, a baby spoon, baby bottle, playpen, fresh spices, huge assortment of tea, coffee and kitchen gadgets galore! Large fluffy towels to go with a well stocked bathroom with high dollar shampoos and soaps. This property was more of a spa than anything else. The beds were comfortable. We squabbled over who got the master bedroom with doors that led to the outside. Amazing amazing amazing. The pictures don’t do this place justice! Only probs we encountered were w the microwave and grill, which Michelle didn’t know about. Other than that, it was a vacation paradise that far exceeded our wildest dreams!!!!

Amazing!

We held our wedding in this lovely home, and it was just perfect! The property owner was incredibly communicative and replied very quickly to any questions we had. It was very clean and it is very obvious that they aim to please with their lovely home!! Definitely will recommend staying here!

Serene and secluded getaway close to it all

Our family wanted an elevated stay-cation experience and we found everything we were hoping for and more with this amazing property. We enjoyed our sunset walk along the lake, relaxed in the hot tub, and had an air-hockey tournament. We felt completely tucked away from it all while still being close to the grocery stores and ice cream parlor. We even made the short drive to Fort Worth to do a college campus tour and see the stock yards. Our host had everything labeled in the house and gave us easy instructions which made it simple to cook and enjoy everything the property had to offer.

Everything was great. Owner was very prompt to respond. We arrived on Thursday and the pool and spa was not ready to use. They sent the pool guy on Fri. so we missed out on a day of that amenity. Other than that, it was a fantastic time.

Great house

We enjoyed our stay here. The only negative part was that the AC is set to where it can not be adjusted below 70' in the master bedroom, huge bathroom, master closet (the size of a room) and the gameroom (sleeping quarters) and it was very hot, especially at night. Perhaps the same unit controls the other bedrooms as well because the guests complained of it being too hot in their rooms too. We managed but this would have been a deal breaker if I had known that before booking. We want to be comfortable like we are at home...especially paying as much as we did. The other AC thermostat could be adjusted but that only seemed to control the living room, office (has no usable sleeping space) kitchen and dining room. The home was very well stocked with everything we needed. The grill was filthy (even though the instructions say to clean it.) and several pots and pans were too dirty to even use. Besides those minor things, the property is a great home with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We didn't get to use the pool because it was too cold but the hot tub was nice.

Christmas Disappointment

The property owner gave us the wrong address and code and we initially ended up walking into her house which was very awkward. The property we rented was fine inside. The beds were uncomfortable for our kids. The inside refrigerator was broken but they put a nice one in the garage and did let us know in advance. The outside was the problem. We rented this property for the hot tub during Christmas. It was broken and because it was a holiday could not be fixed for our trip. I would have thought this was something that would be checked prior to our arrival, especially since this was a holiday and we paid a more-than-normal rate. The property owner only gave us a $100 credit which was her right based on the contract. However, it ruined our family's Christmas and we ended up leaving a night early. The outside of the property looked nothing like the photos, the pool was filled with leaves and was dimly lit at night, and the hot tub and the rest of the outside patio was filled with leaves. All the patio furniture was dirty and the property looked overgrown.

Beautiful property, Amazing host!

We are so happy we stayed here. The house is situated in a great location with plenty of privacy. And it was so wonderful to see the horses in the pasture next to it. The pool is nice and large and the hot tub was very relaxing. We arrived late at night from an 8 hour drive. The host was really sweet to stock the kitchen with snacks and coffee for the next morning. And she was very responsive to all my messages. 5 star 💯!!!!!

Relaxation Station

We had an awesome time staying at this beautiful house! It had everything we needed. The backyard is very relaxing. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Also grilling and cooking outside was perfect! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property and we look forward to it being available in the future hopefully!

Worst experience

This property had potential. Unfortunately the owner ruined the experience. At the time of booking the property was listed as events allowed, including recent reviews from guests who hosted events. I paid ALOT just for the property owner to arrive at the location and harass and threaten me because she changed the property to “no events allowed” with no notice, after I already booked for my baby shower. A few vehicles parked on the dead grass and she was unhappy with that, and stated vehicle limitations and parking info was listed in the house policies on the listing, which it wasn’t as I have screen shots of the listing prior to completing the booking process. While I can understand that vehicles parking on grass is not appealing, it was a simple correction (since she had extra sod rolls in the backyard) and didn’t need her rude and demeaning attitude. All attendees were local fire and police personnel who truly were just trying to celebrate our baby after infertility struggles. The condition of the home was unsafe and unhealthy conditions. There was a huge fly infestation as well as huge spider webs in the gathering areas. The back door has broken bricks on the steps outside which could’ve resulted in injury. Some of the fire personnel who attended wanted to book for a bridal shower but after the issues with the owner they will be looking elsewhere. As said, this property had potential, but the owner threatening me due to her own negligence to provide updated information after booking was very poor on her part. We did not stay the night, after the interaction with the owner we finished our event, cleaned, and left the property by 9 pm as we no longer felt comfortable being there.
