I will say first that the property manager is lovely. We were able to check in early after our flight got rerouted and I really appreciated that. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and we were very pleased not to have loud neighbors etc, even with the fourth of July. The house appeared clean at first, and it was for the most part, but we could tell the previous party must have had confetti/glitter because it got on our socks, house shoes etc. We were surprised to see the window ac units as that was not in the listing. They kept the house cool, almost too cool. Unfortunately the ones in the bedrooms were different as they either kept the room freezing, or weren't keeping the room cold enough. Several of us mentioned being hot at night and waking up freezing. The other issue we had was the bugs. I know its the south, but we saw one live roach and several dead roaches throughout the house, including the leg of one in the twin bed in the back room. We didnt complain as we understand it happens, but the dead bugs were under the bed, etc and the corner of the room which makes us wonder how clean it was. The second bathroom is missing the toilet rack off the wall as well. Also, just as a side note, we had to wash the sheets because the detergent that was used was too strong and made us cough at night. We bought a free and clear detergent and left it at the house.I don’t mean to complain, but some of these could be easily remedied. The house is very close to downtown Atl.
