Inside the Home

Step inside to a bright, open living/dining area with plenty of seating for movie nights or game time. Enjoy the 55” Smart TV with streaming options plus a Sega Genesis console preloaded with classic games.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook at home—pots, pans, spices, coffee maker with filters, and dinnerware for 8. Gather for meals in the dining room or head downstairs to the game room for foosball, board games, or music on the guitar.

Bedrooms are thoughtfully designed for comfort:

Bathrooms are modern and convenient for groups.

Outdoor & Location

Guests have full access to the entire home, including the backyard. The neighborhood is peaceful and tree-filled, but you’ll be just minutes from Atlanta’s best spots. The airport is only 5 miles away, and downtown/midtown are easy to reach via Uber or Lyft.

A local favorite, the Starlight Drive-In Theater, is just a 5-minute drive. Catch a movie under the stars, or visit on weekends when it transforms into a vibrant flea market.

Guest Access & Support

You’ll have the entire property to yourself, and we live just down the street if you need anything during your stay.

The house was wonderful! We were in town for a Bedroom Kandi Boutique Party Convention & the house allowed 4 adult to have their own rooms with a nice size bed. Nobody had to flip a coin for a bunkbed....lol! We would definitely book here again! Andrea "Lady Dre"

More than Excellent!!

Our stay at Micheal’s property was extremely stress free. I messaged him prior to our booking, about some of our concerns, since all of our prior experiences with home rentals have been negative. He was kind and reassured us, even going as far as to offer some tourist recommendations! Micheal’s communication was great, and he got back to us quickly each time we reached out. His home was beautiful, it fit the 6 of us perfectly. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine. I have to say this was one of my best experiences on Vrbo.

Weekend Stay...

Firstly I would like to say that the decor was so eye-catching and looked exactly like the pictures. But there were a few things that went on that made me never want to book this listing again. Although we loved the decor, the house itself just didn't feel clean. There were spiderwebs in various areas with spiders, which was told to the host (He said he would get with the cleaners which was understandable) Also we killed 3 roaches during our weekend stay... Even though the house was fairly clean, we still didn't feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen or using the utensils. As for the location, I'm not too familiar with Atlanta but I do know about the South. I don't feel that the area was safe for tourist. It also had a bus stop located directly in front of the house. But I can say, the host himself was very good with communication and if we ever did need something, I felt very comfortable texting him. He also gave us a lengthy list of things to do while we were in Atlanta which was veryyyy helpful. Great host! The house just needed to be cleaner.

I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.

I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

Daily conveniences are close at hand, with ALDI right nearby, and weekends bring local flavor at the Starlight Drive-In, where you can catch a movie under the stars or browse the lively Sunday morning flea market. With easy access to I-20, you can be downtown or at the airport in minutes—making this the perfect blend of natural beauty, local culture, and city convenience.
