Nauti rauhallinen saari elää Chesapeakelahdella kaunis Waterview Beach House ja sijaitsee pienessä Waterview kaupunki. Tämä täysin ja hiljattain remontoitu, niemi tyyli, Bayview kotiin on 3 hehtaarin, jossa voi nauttia pelaa hevosenkengät, lentopalloa, crabfeasts, ja cookouts meidän kaasu BBQ grilli.

Katso meidän kaupallinen crabbers tulevat saaliinsa ja ostaa rapuja ja ostereita oikeus pois veneestä tukkuhinnat! Sitten on hauskaa keittoaika oikeus takapihalla meidän kotitekoista höyryssä potin! Tuo rapu verkoilla kun kävelette polvi- korkea ja saalis oman pehmeä rapuja. Kalastus ja vinot liikkeet on runsaasti saarella. Meillä on useita mereneläviä kasveja, jotka tarjoavat tuoreita höyrytettyjä rapuja, tuoretta poimittuja ravunliha ja softcrabs. Se jos et halua kokki niitä itse.

Vietä päivä uinti meressä ja nauttia kauppoja, ravintoloita, minigolf huvipuistoissa ja herkkuja heillä on tarjota.

Minun vuokra minulla on noin 100 lentolehtisiä / esitteet aktiviteetteja jokaisen loma kokemus! Aja 15 minuuttia Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, ajaa ympäri turvapaikan, pysähtyä ja tehdä luontoretkiä ja pyörä polkuja. Lintujen tarkkailu on hyvin suosittu täällä, jossa kalju kotkien viihtyvät.

Hooper Islands Getaway

An amazing family getaway. Laura was beyond wonderful and gracious. Laura took my family fishing and they cannot wait to do it again. People are friendly and wave as you pass them by. Food was great. Thank you to the owners of Old Salty’s who were kind to us. The view the food the drinks…top notch. The house had everything we needed. Would go again!!!

A great place on Hoopers Island

A wonderful long weekend getaway on Hoopers Island--close to the bay and to the attractions of the island. Laura is a great host who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay--a roomy house with a great screened in gazebo and plenty of activities for our elementary school aged kids. Highly recommend it!

Secluded Eastern Shore gem!

Great getaway!

We appreciated the quiet get away from DC for a long weekend. We loved the front porch -- nice breeze and view of the water. Laura also arranged to deliver us steamed crabs on Friday night which was a great treat!

Such a great stay

We could not have had a better experience renting this beautiful home. We were looking for a large home on a quaint Island and we got just that. Hoopers Island has an immeasurable charm--the General Store, Old Salty's crab cakes, the single lane road where everyone waves--we couldn't have asked for more. Laura was so accommodating and was very responsive both during the booking process and at check in.

Fabulous stay at the Bay House

Fantastic Mini-Getaway

Husband and I took a short trip during the pandemic to recharge. The house was clean and comfortable. The owners were attentive, responsive, and friendly. They went out of their way to place an order of crabs and brought them to us to enjoy. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place to friends.

quiet get away

The location was very laid back and relaxing. The hosts were also very helpful and worked to make sure we had a great experience and have a huge crab feast in the back yard. We also loved the outside shower and the osprey chick nesting in the front yard. The house was rather small, so if you have a big party be prepared to enjoy time outdoors. Easy walk to Salty's restaurant.

Delightful family vacation

We had a lovely time at Bayview. The house was well stocked and worked well for my husband and I and our 8 children. The children loved the pool, games and toys there. John and Laura were wonderful hosts, making sure we had a nice time. The bushel of frwsh steamed crabs they delivered one evening was a special treat. Thanks for the wonderful place and experience, we hope to return someday_

Destination Wedding on Hooper's Island

Everything was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We would have liked more double beds for couples, but space was limited so that's probably not possible. The half bath was in the same room as one twin bed, so in order to give privacy to guests using that bathroom, no one slept in that bed. Over all, our experience was very pleasant and we would rent there again if the occasion arose. Landlady was especially helpful and accommodating!

Fantastic bay view Getaway

Fresh oysters, lump crabmeat, fire pit, sunsets, sea glass hunting, fishing, and a comfy, cozy super clean home to relax in. Laura and John are hosts extraordinaire! John had the fire pit set up and brought us fresh oysters. Laura dropped off crabmeat and a lighter. We found the house very warm and inviting. Our two dogs loved the big yard to explore and play fetch. We want to return when it’s warmer. Great place!!

Wonderful Stay on the Bay

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Laura was a wonderful host and has thought of every possible detail. The property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you could need. All the seating and beds were comfortable. AC worked great, TV has plenty of channels and streaming. All the bathrooms were very clean and operational. The screen porch was a wonderful location for meals! The location is very close to many water activities but the best part for us was the peace and quiet. Most of the time all we could hear was the breeze. Laura even arranged to deliver us some crabs!! We’ll look forward to staying again!

Sweet family getaway

My family (4 adults, 1 teen and 2 children) loved our stay! The house was clean and cozy. I actually loved it a lot more in person than when I saw the pictures! Inside the bedrooms were comfortable, the living room was stocked with toys, games and cute like puzzles. Outside was great! The large picnic table, tree swing and front porch made for amazing memories. Finally, the levers owners were amazing!!! Communication was fantastic and the fishing trip offered was the best I’ve ever been on. We were catching fish 2 at a time. Highly recommend a low key stay in this sweet home.

We love Fishing Creek !

This house was perfect for our trip to Hoopers Island. We were in town for the Bluegrass Festival at Old Salty’s so the location could not have been more perfect. The house has every possible thing you could need for your stay. Laura is extremely responsive and helpful. She has extensive knowledge of the area and has many great recommendations for things to do and see. The screened in area out front was perfect for spending time with our pets and eating. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and drinking coffee while we watched the wildlife, which is abundant in the area. The general store is 1 mile away, which was easily accessible via bicycle. There are a lot of outdoor activities in the area. I would highly recommend this home and the host!

Family Reunion

We had a fabulous time! Five adults and five children...something for everyone thanks to the owner. There are toys and games for the kids, swimming, equipment for fishing and crabbing, beach access, and quite evenings for the adults. The kids had great fun crab fishing and we had a bushel of crabs for dinner. We all slept like babies thanks to the cool, fresh night air and the quite area. The owners went out of their way to assist in making our experience one everyone enjoyed. Lots of wildlife! Oh, make sure you take bug spray…the mosquitos get a little aggressive if you are outside at dusk. Thanks for a wonderful experience! We will definitely return.

Hooper Island Getaway

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a few nights but the time we were there was very enjoyable. Laura is definitely one of the best hosts you can imagine. She went above and beyond making our stay very enjoyable. She provided almost everything needed for fishing and crabbing. Whether it was the crab pots, fishing polls, bait and even some very detailed instructions! The only thing you'll need to do is get the licenses which are available at the local general store. Laura provided us with local contacts to purchase crabs as we needed a lot for a little family get together that we were having. We also ended up steaming the crabs ourselves and she went above beyond finding us a steamer at the last moment. The house comes with the perfect outside eating area. It has lights, a fan and most importantly its screened! The Mosquitoes on Hooper's Island are no joke and the General store even sells shirts calling them the Hooper's Island Air Force! If you are bringing kids, the rental provides TONS of games and outside activities for them to do. We had a great time playing the customized Dorchester County Monopoly game. Great relaxing getaway !!

We loved our stay at Bay-View! Laura was an excellent host. The house was so clean. Check in was easy. The location is only steps from Hoopers Island road, to bicycle to the bridge, or view the beautiful marinas and waterfronts. The general store is only down the road. We biked the area right before sunet which was beautiful. We seen eagles,brown pelicans. The Osprey already migrated south by early October. A short drive 15 minutes to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge offered great photos and smooth bike riding. Bring mosquito repellant for warm days. We didnt have any problems with mosquitos because the temperatures were in the high 50s in the day and high 40s at night. Lauras home had plenty of items to help with having my Border collie along. There was a pooper scooper for cleanups outside,a long cable and plenty of different sized tie outs for letting your dog outside to do her business. 😁 Each bedroom had a fan in it if you like white noise. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very smooth and soft. The house had AC and Heat. Plenty of channels to watch on TV. A smart TV with lots of apps and channels. Both porches were great, especially the enclosed gazebo. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay. Robbin 10/8/23

My family and I love living here on the island we have raised our children here and now our grandchildren. We can not think of a better place to be in the world!!! We really enjoy fishing,crabbing,kayaking,and biking the island.
We mostly love catching the fish and crabs then cooking them up for a fresh seafood dinner!!

This was the home my husband was raised in. It was left to us , so we completely renovated it all new inside, and now rent it so others can enjoy our nice cozy home. As you see the way of life here as the watermen work on the bay and come in daily with their catches. What a great experience!!

Enjoy steaming your own blue claw crabs we get fresh daily off the boats at wholesale prices. Cooking them right in the backyard! Or we can get the crabs ALREADY COOKED!! Also In the fall thru winter, you can buy oysters right off the boats. Then in the evening sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the Bay!
