3 nice sized bedrooms with an upstairs lounge area. TV’s in each bedroom and lounge area. Very nice clean and comfortable.

Perfect house for a weekend in Washington. Location close to town with several coffee shops , restaurants, bars. Night time was noisy outside on the Main Street at stop sign I. Front of house loud screeching tires late at night but other then that great spot! Accommodations outstanding and hosts were fantastic from start to finish! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Wedding stay

This house is hosted by someone who has literally thought of everything! It was the perfect stay for us. We were in town for a wedding at the venue at wildflower ridge, which was just under 20 minutes away. We were very comfortable in this home away from home. Comfy beds and great space to spread out if needed. Would stay here again for sure!

Walk in and relax! Just a perfect place to stay in Washington.

When your looking for a place to stay in Washington Mo look no further. With a great location to downtown you will be able to enjoy a night out with ease. Then after your activities you can relax in such a well done comfy home. Really it feels like a home away from home! The host is awesome and goes above and beyond to make sure your taken care of. They Thought of Everything

This house was darling. Rachel thought of every detail you may need as a guest. It was spotless and decorated beautifully. Everything was so well labeled and organized. It was truly a lovely place to relax and enjoy the area for a few days. So many thoughtful touches throughout the space. I hope to stay here again!

Wonderful Visit to Washington

We loved our stay at the charming Washington Guest House! Our family of 4 could not have enjoyed our visit more. The house is so spacious and cozy that everyone was able to spread out and relax when we were not out exploring the quaintness of Washington. The updates to this historical home are perfect, from kitchen to bathrooms and living space, and everything was spotless, with extra touches of home to make our stay more comfortable and convenient.

Family trip to visit Family

We were visiting family in the area and looking for a central location that was near services and was sufficient for our family of five adults, a toddler, and a baby. We could not have been more pleased. We individually travel quite frequently and felt that the Washington Guest House was in our top three of locations - the space was perfect; the house had absolutely everything we needed; directions and expectations were perfect!!! We had a great trip and would recommend this location to anyone coming to the area.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed ourselves completely. We were there for the first weekend of Augusta Plein Air. My daughter and another girl her age were painting at it. We made it a girl’s weekend including the Grandmas.

Celebrating with family

Great property to stay if have multiple family members. Easy access to explore Washington and the wineries in the Augusta region. We specifically stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were married at Montelle winery 25 years ago. Property was great!!! Did not appreciate the loud racing cars on 5th street until 1am Friday night. Owners may want to explore the issue with local law enforcement. Otherwise wonderful time.

Best Vacation Rental!

The experience of staying at the Washington Guest House was beyond expectations. We have traveled across the country staying in many VRBO and other vacation rental houses over the years. This one far surpasses any of the others we have stayed at; including ones costing four times as much! This is the ONLY house where the house rules say you don't have to: strip the beds, put towels on the floor, load and start the dishwasher and take out the trash. Their philosophy is: You're on vacation!! This is top notch service; above any other property owners. A must stay if you're in Washington, MO. Wonderful house!! Thanks for the amazing hospitality!!

River Ride

Our spouses took to the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers on jetskis, while the ladies played the role of Team Transport. Washing was a great place to spend a few days relaxing, laughing, and taking in the charm of this beautiful river town. The Washington Guest House was by far the most beautiful place to stay in town. The host, Rachel, was warm and welcoming. Every possible accommodation was available during our stay. The attention to detail in this historic renovation was spot on! We all had a blast and slept like lambs. Thank you!

Exceeded Our Expectations

The 1880’s-built Washington House, completely remodeled after serving as the home of a radio station for 40 years, was clean, comfortable, warm (in November) and decorated with humorous and homey touches. A hidden bedroom! An “On Air” light which actually turns on! Rachel left fun and welcoming surprises from a bottle of Missouri wine to S’more fixings and cocoa. The location was ideal, not far from downtown, the Washington Coffee Shop, or the Missouri River walking path. It was a great place to gather for dinner with family, around the fire pit, or to return to after a long day away. We will definitely be back!

Great Place for a Weekend Vacation with Grandkids

Awesome place to stay! Has a very unique main bedroom that the grandkids had alot of fun with. Plenty of games, TV's, an outdoor grille, plus a mini fire pit for roasting smores. Washington Mo. is a great weekend destination with a historic downtown full of shops and restaurants, all within a 15 minute walking distance. We skipped a car altogether by coming in on the train and renting some bikes. Washington also has a new municipal pool that kids love. The only problem we had was not being able to find a can opener, which Rachel then personally delivered within 10 minutes....:) Great place for a family get-away. :)

A “Must Stay” if Vacationing in Washington, MO!

Rachel has done a beautiful job transforming this historic house into an awesome, more than accommodating rental house. Plenty of room for 6 adults to unwind and visit after a long day out. We enjoyed the quiet backyard and fire pit while playing washers that came with the rental. It was a great place to spend time with family that was in from out of town, and we will definitely be booking again in the future!

Sisters Weekend

Wonderful weekend. House was comfy even with single digit temperatures outside. Very clean and well stocked. Enough room for the six of us to play games, cook and eat as well as spread out and make hand knitted blankets. Several fun things in house that allows you a peek into the personality of the owners. Absolutely Fantastic

The Washington Guest House was a very comfortable place to stay. The decor was so creative, fun and appropriate to the history of the home. The host has provided many thoughtful supplies for guests. The location was good. Our only complaint … too short a visit! Hope to return soon!

Beautiful & Comfortable Home

The Washington House is a welcoming, fun, and comfortable place to stay. It’s the former location of a local radio station, with the “On Air” light whimsically there. We like it because there’s a nice table to gather around for meals. It’s in a great location also, close to The Tilted Skillet, and an easy walk to the Washington Coffee Shop. It’s easy to walk to the shopping district, or on a paved walking loop that borders the river. Highly recommended!
