Starlite cabin was just perfect. Close to Burlington, but the goal was to get back to the cabin around 4pm to sit on the dock, or take out the paddle boat. I even caught a 14" Wide mouth bass about 100 feet from the dock, and i have no clue how to fish. Neighbors are friendly, helpful and VERY quiet at night. Great communication with the owners. We will be back!

Wonderful cabin on a lake, all amenities that were wanted were provided, 30 min drive to Burlington. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time at this perfect cabin/cottage/camp. It was a very relaxing stay. Roxanne thought of everything. We felt at home and had everything we needed while we were there! We plan on coming back next year and bringing our 3 kids with us! We cannot say enough good things about this perfect place!

The cottage was just as described with the added bonus of a full kitchen albeit with out a dishwasher. The bagel toaster more than made up for that! We were here for a family wedding and it was great to come back to the lake for the peace and quiet!

This cottage was an absolute dream. The location is amazing, situated right on cedar lake only 30 minutes from Burlington, 15 minutes from vergennes and about 25 from Middlebury. It is surrounded by farms and farm stands with incredible produce and delicious creamees! Everything about it was perfect. The host was amazing, they literally thought of everything! My son especially enjoyed all the pumpkinseed sunfish around the beautiful dock and rides on the paddle boat. My wife and I shared one of the most magical evenings listen to thunder and rain pitter-patter on the roof while watching lighting illuminate the mountains framing the lake. The cottage is something straight out of a novel and I would give this place 20 out of 5 stars if I could. Would recommend to anyone considering it and will definitely be back!

Thank you Roxanne for the opportunity to enjoy your wonder cottage on the lake! You are an amazing host for sure. Perfect communication and thanks for checking in if we were comfortable or needed anything - much appreciated. We had an incredible fall stay at this immaculate lakefront house! The home is beautifully maintained and spotless - one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Its location couldn’t have been more perfect - right on the lake with direct, easy access to the water off the dock. The property came fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the stay and the lake. Pedal boat and kayaks to fishing gear. A real treat was the sunrise. We made it a point to get outside each day to watch the sun emerge above the hills and lake. A wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything about our experience was wonderful! The owner was super friendly, accessible, and helpful. The cottage was well-maintained and comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches that made the space functional. It looks tiny in the listing but feels much bigger in person- very comfortable for our family of 4. (Looked around at one point and noted there is actually seating for 9 in the living room.) The waterfront and view were simply magical. We basically lived on the dock and the screened in porch. The neighbors caught a bunch of fish and we enjoyed seeing fish and turtles right off the dock. This is definitely a social spot - all the neighbors were there during our stay and were very pleasant and eager to chat. In that sense it had a community feel rather than an isolated getaway, which we really enjoyed but is something to consider. We ventured out for Ben & Jerry’s, market, and creemee- all easy trips and a gorgeous drive. Would return in a heartbeat!
