Affordable. Hot tub wouldn’t get over 94 degrees and read error. Very low water pressure. Big enough for a group of 8. No sheets for pull out couches.

An amazing week in the Smoky Mountains!

We really appreciated our stay here. Full disclosure, despite booking on VRBO this cabin is actually rented through Aunt Bugs. I wish I had booked directly with them, because VRBO didn't communicate my full reservation. I was searching specifically for pet friendly cabins, but when I talked to them, Aunt Bugs did not know I had booked with a dog. Thankfully we were able to get all the extra paperwork squared away quickly without any issues. There was everything inside we needed for the first two days in regards to toilet paper, soap, etc. We packed all the necessities, but it was nice that there was some there to get us started.The main and lower levels are completely separate with two separate entrances. This cabin would be perfect for two families traveling together, or a family with older teens. I have younger kids and they were disappointed that we wouldn't let them sleep in the "game room" separate from us. With how many bears we saw around the cabin though, we weren't comfortable with them being out alone! The cabin next door had a bear break into their car, but we took the precautions very seriously and never left food in our van or outside, so the two bears just sniffed around the deck and porch but never were aggressive or got anything from us, but know when you book here, you are definitely on their turf.Also, the road to and from the cabin is NOT for the faint of heart. Overall it was a great stay, Aunt Bugs had awesome communication, and we had a great trip.

Short family getaway

Overall the cabin was clean and like the photos. The area has some amazing views and is in a nice little neighborhood with other cabins. The roads can be a little tricky for new or unexperienced drivers. Just go slow and you'll be fine

Cute

It was cute and quiet. Our only real complaint was how hard the beds were. We hardly slept all week and it made it hard to relax because my back was constantly in pain. But it was nice to be able to share a space big enough for our entire family. I also appreciated all of the utensils, dishes, and cookware that they have. Makes longer stays much easier when you dont have to order food or go out every night you're visiting. I was surprised though, to see how quickly police were able to respond when there was a concern in the area.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay with aunt bugs and would recommend them to anybody looking to stay near pigeon forge! The drive to the cabin is a little rough on those curvy mountain roads but other than that we enjoyed everything!

2night stay

The cabin was nice. Everything was there that was needed. I had read the rental contract before we arrived and bought some hosuhold items as far as toilet paper, cleaning supplies, trash bags. I didnt need any of it. I do wish there was access to the game room from inside but that was the only thing i wish was different. All in all, nice place and the kids had fun with the game room. any of it.

The cabin has plenty of room but it was not that clean. Considering I have 5 young kids I would expect the beds, floors, and shower to be clean.

Thanksgiving Vacay

Overall, my stay was really great. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The cabin was very nice. The only really big problem that I came across staying was there just wasn’t enough dishes. Someone always had to use a spoon because there wasn’t enough forks, and there was just enough plates for us to eat and I was the type of person that cooked breakfast every morning that we were there and I also made a Thanksgiving dinner for that day, so I felt like I was washing dishes all the time. We did have an issue with squirrels getting into the roof area and I was kept awake just about every night that I was there hearing squirrels running up and down and dropping acorns but I let the manager know and they were very understanding about it and asked if there was anything that could be done so it really wasn’t a big problem. Overall, I would rent again.

Not a VRBO property

I booked this property because it seemed like a decent deal compared to other properties in the area. However after booking it, I had to pay a separate fee to VRBO because this is not a vrbo property. It is managed by aunt bugs cabin rentals, which is a fitting name as the place was filled with bugs. And I’m talking large centipedes to bugs in the kitchen The cabin itself is two separate cabins both of which are very small. The downstairs unit is not accessible from the top unit. It’s like two separate apartments. We have teenagers so the arrangement worked, but if you have small children, it’s not a good set up. The cabin is at the intersection of two roads and cars drive by constantly. Lights come right into the windows as the cabin sits right on a road. No privacy whatsoever. The property management company sent me several requests asking for pictures of my credit card, me holding my drivers license, and wanted me to provide the security code and expiration date of my credit card on a non secure emailed form even after I paid for the cabin in full. The amount I paid was not what was advertised either. I ended up paying the same amount as some other nicer places in the area. The kitchen was not adequately stocked with essentials to cook, there were light bulbs burned out, and the bathroom door would boot shut or lock. They do not properly maintain the cabin. My family considered this cabin rustic and would not put their suitcases on the floor due to the bugs. And there are no closets at all or anywhere to hang clothes. I would definitely stay away from this cabin unless they cut the nightly rate in half, it’s just not worth it. Worst VRBO experience to date.
